- Soooo..... here's how it went. Surprisingly, I survived (this time hehehe) but I think it actually came out pretty well! Hello! This is amazing work, I love your art! Im not sure if you want to talk about this, but I wanted to ask what it is like with RISD moving their classes online because of the coronavirus. I may be going to RISD next year and I know a lot of people are very upset... Especially about tuition and loosing studio space. Will you be moving out and making projects at home? This whole situation is insane and unfair, especially for art students. I feel so bad for you guys, and I hope you are doing well
It can't be called unfair, it is a special situation and they want to keep all students safe
@@sweetylou9807 Oh sorry! I didn't mean that, they did the right thing by closing universities. It is just unfair when people pay insane tuition for studio space that they will no longer have access too. How will glass blowing or textiles be able to learn online? Additionally, people have to pay for room and board while they are not there. People deserve tuition reimbursement.

i wonder will they do what we did.They sent us home and gave us research work to do.We do pay crazy fees like they do though so i hope they do get it back. im messing the rest of my ceramics module and the start of my textiles so we are just told make amazing skecthbooks and reserach now that we have time

Wow your the project are so abstract in comparison to what I think of for an illustration major. I just graduated from FIT with a major in illustration. Is that just how you do your art projects or do your professors ask you to create 3-D projects? Or was this for like a packaging design class/and or toy design class?

Seriously, is RISD so chill?
Also for your art project. Doesn't you like have to write a presentation what you did and why you did it. What is the purpose of that project? So alone making this takes like 6 hours. So how can one do this in 2 days, like your colleagues.
Hi! I'm a 14-year-old girl going into high school in August and my dream school is RISD. Do you have any advice for what I should do over the next 4 years to up my chances of being accepted?
Can we not assignment shame! Some people start super late out of anxiety, others from lack of time and others may work better under a limited time frame. I'm glad you finished your project a day before but it doesn't make you better than someone else.
