I was part of the project! Shame you didnt show the main world and gameplay! The systems in Project Titan are also worth checking out like the 3D Minimap and Character selection UI, etc..
Just imagine putting all those 7000 pieces all lined up one by one all by hand... very *_smart_* _{pun absolutely intended!}_ finding the way to do that in what I presume has been actually nailed to just go clicking a letter on the keyboard!
So I was looking for some solid info about this other than just seeing the "Standard License" info on the store page and I found this from the original sign-up form for artists who participated in the project. It would appear that everything in this project may be fair use in your own projects. If anyone has more info on this it would be appreciated. What happens to the work I submit to the project? "By submitting work and agreeing to the terms of this challenge, you give Epic license to use your work as part of the release of the open world sample game (currently called Titan). This will be a free sample game (Like Cropout, Lyra, Stack-o-bot) that developers can download for free and use as a learning resource and as part of their own game projects."
@@ZAPcon it seems the most reasonable thing to assume given the past of epic when releasing this type of projects. I really hope this is all free, together with the last pack of stylized monsters from the free of the month, you pretty much have a full basic arpg setup of 3 models xD
Hey man, I use a premade project on a game that I’m creating. I’m having issues adding assets from other projects because the other projects are separate project files. Do you have any recommendations on how I can incorporate free assets like this into my premade project template that I purchased?
Typically you would just open the other project, then in the content drawer you would select the folder that contains all of the assets you want to copy, right click it and you should see a "migrate" button (it may be nested under an option that says 'Asset Actions'. Follow the prompts that come up (you just need to select into the Content folder of the project you want to migrate to) and it should handle the rest.
Curious if it's possible to separate the assets by biome? I'd love to have each biome broken out into it's own level so you can much more easily navigate for particular ones. I' looking to previz some stage ideas in 3d for a 2d idea I have, so these are all great for that, but not having them organized in smaller groups would still make it take forever to find even simple things. It'd be much easier to open a Forest Biome Asset Level to find all the green forest assets etc. Is this doable? :)
does the project have the guides on making the assets? I watched the official video release and they were talking about some documents like guides they offered the participants so that they would know how to create those assets. Anyone know where to find does guides?
this free polygon asset is good, but it needs better texture. unreal should support AI texture. there are many blender AI add-on plug-ins. I don't see why unreal shouldn't use this method.
I'm pretty bummed. I have a Predator Helios 16 with a rtx 4080. 990 Pro 4tb 7400mbs read and 64gbs of ram 5200 CL 40, yet I can hardly run this project. I know it's a laptop but damn.
@@Moonlightgames209 Thanks lol. I'm completely new to this stuff. So I was thinking this would inhibit my ability to create a game without having an even more powerful setup
@Wolfsins not really. When I first started learning 3 years ago I had a ryzen7 5800x 8 core cpu 32gb of ram and a 3060 12gb gpu and 1tb samsung 970. I've only managed to upgrade to 16 core 5950 and 128gb of ram and 2tb 990. I'm still using the 3060 and making my own open world rpg
I'm not a fan of stylised assets and games but hey man... variety is key in this world of ours so why should the gaming industry world be different? We cannot all do the super realistic stuff. besides... a lot of these assets might look completely different and way more realistic with a well made retexturing. Massive respect to the creative minds and hands to this massive project. It's a hell of a download but absolutely worth it. The way they handled the landscape is, on its own, worth the entire project not to mention the completely original way the mechanics are made. Only thing very bad for me is the fact all components are actually C++ stuff so kinda useless to me but that's me for being an absolute lost cause when it comes to C++ and coding in general. The learning curve is a pain but I feel this titanic project might help a lot of us to improve ourselves and makes our own things better and better!

truly a game's worth of content ! thanks for laying it all out, that must've taken ages.
I made a blueprint tool that grabs all static mesh actors and lays them out by size

It's interesting to see everything we worked on displayed in that manner.

It would be nice to see what people put together with these assets. I'm curious how creative they can get.
Thank you for that video - I did not know about this.
Very awesome thanks for letting us know!
Awesome material. Ill give a try to the course
Very nice. I would also like to see characters and creatures. And how you made the overview
Noted!
oh damn it was so fun working on it though
i made quite a few effects🎉🎉
Would love to see how we can utilize the character mechanics, like the glider, grappling hook and wok.
Is there a way to download partially from fab? Or I need to download whole 70 gb to get a small part of it?
Kinda wonder if these things are only allowed in unreal or if I can use em in other game engines
Are all the assets in the project free for use?
By any chance do you have a link for the project with the assets lined up (?

I’d love a break down of how to migrate more complex assets like the compass, I always lose something and it breaks in the new project.
Wonder how many of that will be resold on fab by stealers
I've heard in an other video that many of this assets are older and was free.
That means, there is a chance that they was already resold by stealers.
Bro can you make tutorial beat em up games tutorials?
Thank you so much

am i the only one who is interested in this landscape designer plugin deepdive tutorial ?
Please make a video on how to put all assets automatically.
