This is the best fnaf game to speedrun because it’s not limited to one timeframe. The intermission lore cutscenes, the minigames, the challenges. Truly a masterpiece (:
What's very cool is the fact every new FNAF game interestingly became more and more speedrunnable. There were some exceptions here and there, but it's fascinating how every new entry like FNAF World, FFPS, even Security Breach gave the players more ways of beating them (and yes, they are factually better games to run than 4). I would do my rankings on them in that regard, but, luckily, I'm out of the speedrunning picture by now ;)

@@retodera228 FNAF4 being the Bite of 87 was likely planned but would contradict with FNAF2 where the toy animatronics specifically got scrapped at the end, after a night where the Phone Guy talks about a birthday party before three restaurant closes (implying a toy animatronic caused the bite of '87, possibly Toy Chica as she was hinted with Scott's "Why is Toy Chica missing her beak" image during one of Game Theory's stream when they were trying to figure out the FNAF4 lore) It's also said in a FNAF2 phone that Fredbear's Family Diner was an old location that was closed down for a long time, and considering FNAF2 takes place in 1987, it means that the bite at Fredbear's had to happen before '87. And the Fredbear & Friends TV show in a FNAF4 minigame has the date 1983 written, so theorists generally regard Fredbear's bite as that of 83. Even if it goes against the FNAF 4 "87" teasers and the Golden Freddy 1987 easter egg of FNAF 1.
Awesome run! I wanted to say two things that could help; Firstly, I'm pretty sure on why you had that first death on Night 4. When you hear Bonnie or Chica breathing, and then you hear them walking away, they won't necessarily leave as soon as they start walking. That's because they only have the opportunity to leave their respective door once every 3 seconds, which is a cycle that starts at the very start of the night, just like how movement works on the previous Fnaf's, so sometimes they might leave instantly, where as other times they might take almost 3 secs. Secondly, if you hear Foxy running on one the sides for a second time, that means that he has chosen that hallway. If that happens, and you check on the opposite door or you're already on the opposite door (or check on the bed too I think), he'll get inside your room. If you instead flash your light on that hallway, you'll push him back
Maybe they had to hope Bonnie and Chica would leave immediately as otherwise they would spend time keeping the door closed when Foxy and Freddles and the other door would start stacking.
If that was the case, then that'd be just so pointless; Foxy and Freddy are pretty lenient on Night 4, it's not like it's worth to risk it every time just to reach to them slightly faster
idk if ur still gonna reply to this after a year but ive gotten to 4 am pretty consistently on the 8th night and made it to 5 am most of the time. I dont shine the light on nightmare freddy bc its faster and i beat night 7 first try using that strat. Y does the strat fail me on night 8. I literally hear him go to the left and stop i go to the door close it and he kills me. And yes im at the right door bc its happened to me 9 times now and i rewatch the clips to make sure that im not bugging.
He died to a bug. If Nightmare Chica’s been at the door for a significant period, she doesn’t properly reset from the door if you repel her but don’t flash the hall afterwards. That’s why you always flash the halls after repelling Bonnie and Chica
No mods involved, maybe it's a memory you have from an older version of the game you've experienced somewhere 'cause the breathing did use to be quieter
Insta Foxy & Mad Freddy don't work with All Nightmare since Freddy & Foxy (along with Bonnie and Chica) don't exist with All Nightmare on. All Nightmare is when Nightmare is active for the whole 12 AM to 6 AM, not starting at 4 AM.
@@OleksiyAntonkin But you get what I mean, having All Nightmare is basically Night 5 but Nightmare's in it only & it can also be on literally any other night with it activated
You did so well with all the nightmares, nightmare mode, 20x4. But you managed the fourth night only on the third attempt. Why so? Carelessness or what? Are you going to break you record?
You got me. This one was done just for the sake of someone finally completing this category. I think I still trained quite a bit in doing the later nights but the stuff like minigames you can see I was not prepared for. I was genuinely surprised that I could beat All Nightmare + Blind Mode on my third try lol. I doubt I'll come back to speedrunning though, especially to the FNAF games. Checking this video also made me realise that after tomorrow I will be the WR holder for a whole year lol
I did no preparation beforehand, so the footage of me opening the game is still there (could potentially also work as a way to show my run is genuine by comparing the time I started and ended my run on)
If there's some stimulus, like my record getting beaten, or me having absolutely nothing else to do in my free time again (this is the main reason why I would do so), then yeah, I will probably record a better run, but currently I still feel proud about it, so overall it's highly unlikely to happen

I can't go through FNAF 4 for the third night

blind mode feels like playing fnaf as a blind person

Is it possible to do blind mode + insta foxy + mad freddy + all nightmare all at once?
Nope

All Nightmare is when Nightmare is active for the whole 12 AM to 6 AM, not starting at 4 AM.

how is blind mode even possible
You can get all the information you need via audio (except for some cases with Nightmare where you have to rely on luck)

Five dollars is not too terribly expensive for a game. You could skip one lunch at school and buy it (make sure you also have the headphones, though)
