Hey Alex I've commented on your videos before about this. Dimebag Darrell was one of the only celebrities I ever shed tears over. I literally worshipped that guy he was the one that made me the guitarist I am today. I have played guitar for 23 years and if it wasn't for Dimebag Darrell's guitar playing I don't know if I would have played as long as I have. He was truly an inspiration to me and I bawled my eyes out when that man died. Especially when Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde wrote this song it tore me apart. You ahould also look into Suicide Messiah by BLS its about heroin addiction and you can hear it as you listen to it, its one of my favourite BLS songs and it gives me goosebumps all day after listening to it. Also, still have to suggest you react to Ghost Walking by Lamb of God and A Little Piece of Heaven by A7X (Sarah knows about it as you read me telling you about it on a live stream with her!).

One day I got a call from another friend saying that he got a goodbye text from him and a group of us flew out to try to search all of his haunts. I plugged my iPod into my car on shuffle and this was the first song that came on. Absolutely killed me, but thankfully he ended up being found and was resuscitated and saved, then overcame his addiction problems. I always remember that night listening to this song though.

I wish there were words to describe what this song means to those of us who grew up rooted in this period of rock/metal. I remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing when Dime was killed. It was like losing family for so many of us. I also remember driving south on RT. 1 in Rehoboth Beach, DE, driving my massive Ford Bronco, when this song debuted on the radio. I had to pull over because of how powerful it is. Zakk Wylde is the last of the Mohicans, out there keeping this type of music alive. God knows I'm trying to keep it going through my music. One of the most emotional and powerful songs I've ever heard, and it's my go to ugly cry song. It's so raw... It's just beautiful and haunting... Totally worthy of St Dime... Thanks for doing this, it gets overlooked a lot.

I wish there were words to describe what this song means to those of us who grew up rooted in this period of rock/metal. I remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing when Dime was killed. It was like losing family for so many of us. I also remember driving south on RT. 1 in Rehoboth Beach, DE, driving my massive Ford Bronco, when this song debuted on the radio. I had to pull over because of how powerful it is. Zakk Wylde is the last of the Mohicans, out there keeping this type of music alive. God knows I'm trying to keep it going through my music. We need more people like Zakk and Dime in this world. Great review, my friend.
