Thanks for sharing. Truly some of the best stories illustrated by some of the best artists of their time. Definitely have to start adding these to my collection.

I would love to see a modern day series like this. I just finished Love Sex and Robots on Netflix and it made me realize how incredibly important it is to give creators a platform in which to release their work unrestricted. And a anthology magazine would be perfect for it.

There were a few anthologies that I enjoyed over the years, but horror for me is where it's at.

@@NearMintCondition yeah horror seems to have an easier time with the anthology format. Just look at Junji Ito for a good example. Or Richard Corben.

Those collections are a dream for me. I really love the art. A brazilian publisher started to collect it in 2014 and quit in edition 4, so bad. Hope one day I can buy all of them.

Omar...no shoutout for my favorite character to come out of Warren Press...THE ROOK?!?!? Great video! I was very surprised when I saw the number 27 in the video title! Kudos to Dark Horse for seeing this through to the end in a time when we are NOT guaranteed to see a vast majority of titles through to completion. I wish Dark Horse would continue The Rook hardcovers. Number three was released a while back with no news about a fourth. As always, fantastic work brother and take care!!

Great. I knew these were hanging out on the outskirts of material I would probably REALLY enjoy and I just had to watch this video...my wishlist just keeps on growing while my wallet just keeps on shrinking. Thanks Omar. Thanks a lot.

Hi Omar just a quick word about the color pages in the early 80's Warren magazines. Sales of the magazines were declining and in order to drum up readership Warren decided to add some color pages to the magazines. This also entailed an increase in price because of the color. Fangoria magazine was killing Warren's Famous Monsters magazine not because of color pages but, they (Fangoria) were covering the more violent slasher movies of the time. I can't tell you if the addition of color helped because I was a kid buying these magazine at the time but, Warren quietly ceased publication of ALL of its magazines in 1983. If you look at those last issues there's no indication that Warren was ceasing publication only next issue ad content.

Thank you so much for pointing that out. It was so sad to see such a great magazine come to an end. Similar to what happened to the EC lines.

how big is the collected market? and how big is the uncanny's reach, that publishers are reaching out to omar and us directly?

In your review you Eerie you sited the adaption of Voyage of The Space Beagle as an Alien -rip off. It`s not. Beagle appeared in 1950( 29 years before Alien.) and it`s author, A.E. Van Vogt actually sued the Alien producers for plagiarism. The case was settled out of court.
