    I enjoyed watching this build.
An idea for rounded teeth on the force meter clamp. If you could epoxy two horizontal pins on the fixed jaw, and one horizontal pin on the movable jaw such that the single pin presses between the first two, then the wire can be held in the "rounded zig-zag" formed by the pins/teeth. The idea here being that pulling wire through bends is tougher than a straight pull.
I don't know if bigger surface area on the clamp holding surface is better in this particular application.

    This is off topic.
But could you make a video where you can explain which dualsense controllers works with which type of hall effect joysticks.
I have a bdm 010 model and I wonder which hall effect joystick is compatible with my ps5 control.

These should work on any of the DualSense controllers BDM-010 to BDM-040. I tried the previous version of this Hall effect joystick in a BDM-010 controller and it worked fine. See this video: th-cam.com/video/6JX_kdyDnlM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wqqc9cGVINcIXBQA . Before installing the Hall effect joysticks, consider looking at the TMR-based joysticks. It's a bit of work to change them and the TMR joysticks are better.

I’m confused. The force from the clamp seems variable and won’t let your tests be linear. You can pull on the wire at 50lbs but the clamp can be whatever so how does that make this test reliable?

The clamping force on the wire and terminal does not have any effect on the wire pull force. I just don't want the terminal or wire to slip.

Finger cross yt bots don't delete this comment.
There's a new TMR stick from K-silver (allegedly) on aLi, blue plastic housing for both sensors with "KS" moulded onto the plastic itself. Can you test those out since they are cheaper than gulikit's.
