Every other boss took a while and then Blade Wolf, Sundowner, and Jetstream Sam got fucking obliterated in like less then 5 hits
Revengeance parries are dummy strong, but then again, you die just as quick.

@@Garry-Mod_GamesSundowner has low health and perfect parries deal massive damage on Revengeance, parrying mid air has a faster animation, so he can't block your parry with his shields.
i love how Sam boss fight is just how a actual sword fight would go
holy moly cow, you just charged up and chop off 16% of his health from his health bar in the first 4 seconds of the fight. And you entered the first phase in 20 seconds. ☠☠☠

Fighting mistral on keyboard and mouse is so miserable mane, lock on just sucks, yet you make it so trivial, god I’m jealous!
Tip: You can skip when monsoon's lyrics kick in if you get him under 40% before he reassembles his body
I remember Revengance triples or quads the damage of counters so yeah pretty much any boss that doesn't have a forced transition is dead in a few hits. But even funnier is that Armstrong qte counts as a counter and deletes half a health bar.

How did the QTE in Armstrong fight make him go 100% to 5%? That is sick
In revengence mode, parries do a shit ton of damage. And the QTE’s in Armstrongs fight count as parries
How to cheese every (major) boss
1. Bladewolf: Pincer
2. Mistral: Pincer
3. Monsoon: Pincer
4. Sundowner: Pincer
5. Sam: Pincer
5. Excelsus: Pincer
fun fact: you can begin charging your bloodlusts and then do an deffence-offence move to put you into the second bloodlust attack immidietly (this has some uses in speedruns because the second attack does more damage)
you can also charge bloodlust and activate ripper mode and release it to do massive damage
its not just that the 2nd attack does more damage. It has different properties and depending on what you want, you need a different amount of hits.

Why raiden makes very high damage in the quick-time events in the Armstrong fight?
In Revengeance your parry attacks deal massive damage and QTEs in Armstrong's fight are registered as parries.
4:40 I like how when Mistral is saying "Because I am a stranger who has found an even stranger war." It gets cut off after 'an even' to shift into the chorus, so its just, "Because I am a stranger who has found an even STRANGER I REMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!"
For monsoon the EMP grenades are faster to throw if you tap em rather than switching to sai
yk that if you just run straight forward when armstrong does his throw attack you can skip the entire thing with zero damage, admittedly you do a good chunk of his health if you do it legit but i still prefer that strat
I typically find Blade Mode to be really effective against RAY's legs. Not sure if that would help here since the focus is on blocking the head.

So, why is it that in VR Mission 4, Sam DLC, when the LQ-84 throws the knife, it either stuns or kills the full HP Gekko in just a single throw?
Pretty sure you can save time if you don't cut Mistral's pole after phase one. It doesn't seem to deal damage either.

just instantly using the scissors would be fastter on mistral and on monsoon you wouldnt want to use the sai but emps instead

5 minutes for Monsoon isn't that fast if you wanna speedrun. It's pretty slow, honestly, I straight up did it in around 2:40.
Yeah I agree that it's not a very fast run, though the purpose was more to show the strategy used in most Monsoon speedruns rather than have the run be a speedrun itself

The truth of sword fights
Why are his parries doing so much damage?
It's because it's Revengeance Difficulty. It works like Very Hard, but it cranks your parry damage through the roof to where perfect parries can basically one-shot anything that isn't a boss.
Add Murasama and Ripper Mode on top of that for even more damage, and you get how he demolished Blade Wolf and Mistral.
It's difficult to learn the timing at first, but once you get it, the dopamine hit when you land those parries and just carve through anything is undeniable.
There’s a way faster way on Armstrong the guy that made de gutless run of MGR did the QTE takes his entire health if someone knows how to do that please say
What is a de gutless run?

Revengence mode makes it so that counter attacks do like 4x dmg but enemies also do 4x dmg

It’s just revengance making your counters do insane amounts of dmg so in actuality he probably only clicked at 1/4th the speed shown

It’s because he’s on revengence difficulty. It makes your parrys do a shit ton more damage
