Was there in '16 in almost the exact spot! Did the Golden Road, too, and spent extra time in the Fjords.
the last pano you've shown is amazing
Your camera and tripod are sooo clean
Thank you for watching and keep on clickin!
Every day, I make it a point to learn something new. Quota met! You da man!
That's awesome. Glad you found it worthwhile!
Happy you had such a great trip to Iceland! Enjoyed watching your pano process- thanks for stepping through it.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for your comment!
Great
Glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching!
Great great video and educational, I am still learning and seeing you do this process helps so much. You are awesome thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks for your comment!
You have an uncanny resemblance to Ansel Adams 😄 I'm sure you've heard this before. Great video!
First time hearing that one. I will take that as a compliment!
I watched your video on stitching image's together. When I select sky I will lower the exposure then move the color temperature towards blue . Thought I would share that . I really appreciate your videos, I've learned a lot from them, thank you.
Wes
Sounds like a great plan to me. Adding more blue to the sky was something I considered as well. Thanks for your comment!
Dear Jay P, you're fantastic. I understand that this is your process, but it seems like you're making it more difficult for yourself. Both Lightroom and Capture One Pro support natively stitching multiple raw images together resulting in one large RAW pano that you can then make all adjustments to one image. Most of the time you don't even need to roundtrip to Photoshop anymore unless you need to do really precise edits on the resulting image. I know Photoshop gives you potentially more control for difficult blending of photos via the layers, however, most of the time it isn't necessary. Unless I'm missing something?
That is correct. You can stitch them in Camera Raw and I do that sometimes as well.
@@TheSlantedLens After re-reading my comment I apologize if it sounded like a criticism of the video. I've learned a lot of great techniques from you over the years and I guess I was just wondering if you prefer doing this one way versus another way. 🙂
How is the ColorChecker Photo different from the small X-RIte Color Checker I've been using for years?
We haven't reviewed the X-Rite, so I couldn't tell you.
Basically an advert until 3 mins in
Hope you learned some good stuff!
Photoshop will only auto save as a jpeg after the image is flattened.
Thanks for that tip. Keep on clickin!
