I am going to try it now on my FIAT 500L which have some issues with one of the headlight bulbs.
I would consider to change both of them anyway as it is recommended.

Thankyou Jean for your kind words. I have also made a video on the fuse box location as a lot of the videos showed it elsewhere and took me a while to get to. I have also changed the rear bulbs but there were already a lot of vids on this. If you get any questions please let me know.

Manual said turn bulb holder clockwise, with diagram showing turn anti clockwise, then the text contradicted itself again. Thank you for a clear, straightforward 'how to' video to change the light bulb
Thanks Alistair. I had the same problem with the manual and it took me a while to work out the rubber cover (not needing to be twisted) so I thought I'd make a vid to try and help others in the same situation.

I have the left hand drive version in Canada. In Winter the crude that collects around the engine room components is a sight to behold. Twisting is more difficult with a layer of dirt. Change both at the same time is a recommended practice.
Definitely agree about changing both at once. We bought the car in June last year and the front bulb went so changed them both then less than a month later both back brake light bulbs went and then one of the rear lights. It's weird how it comes up on the dashboard screen when the rear bulbs go but doesn't tell you when a headlight bulb goes! I guess they think you'll see it more at the front.

thanks heaps for that! Concise and easy. I have the US model and instead of the flexible cap that you pulled straight off, I had a rigid cap that needed a slight twist to the left as you mentioned. Still, very easy.
Thank you. And it’s strange they use a different cap. That must be the same as the one in the manual as confused me when it mentioned twisting.
What kind of bulb did you get for it?
I used an H7 I bought from Ebay

Great vid, what happens when the connector comes out without the bulb? Do you have to squeeze them together so the bulb comes out with it?
I've not changed one for a while but I think if that happens if you can plug the connector back into the back of the bulb then pull gently and they should come out together.

Hi. on ours it’s a 12V 55W Px26d E H7. I got Lucas brand from EBay.
I just changed it thanks to your video. Thank you very much. However, the cap dropped into the hood 🤦🏻♂️ you warned me. I can’t reach it. Now what? Do you have a fix for that lol
Funnily enough I had the same thing happened on my BMW. I had a metal fitment fall. Luckily I used a magnet on a string. Have you got someone with a thin arm that can help or you can get litter picker arms that can help pick up things in a small area. Is this the same process for a 2015 500L?
I've not actually changed a bulb on a 2015 model but am guessing it would be the same or very similar.
In my case, the bulb stay inside and cable connector is out, n my hands 😫
Yes that can happen and did to me a few times. I found that by plugging the cable connector back into the bulb and try to almost squeeze the cable connector very gently with a slight rocking motion so that they come out together.
