- This mod only changes the sound of the PC version of Fix-it Felix Jr. to make it more like the sounds heard in the Wreck-it Ralph movie. I added various sounds from existing sound improvement packs, as well as creating and modifying sounds in Famitracker.

My name is Ralph and I’m a bad guy. I’m 9 ft tall, I weigh 643 lbs, and got a little bit of a temper on me. My passion bubbles vary near the surface, I guess. I’m not going to lie. Anywho, what else? I’m a wrecker. I wreck things… professionally. Hence the name for me -- Wreck-it Ralph. I mean, I’m very good at what I do. Probably the best, I know. The thing is.. Fixing is the name of the video game… literally - Fix-it Felix Jr. So, yeah. Naturally, the guy who is named Fix-it Felix is the good guy. He’s nice enough as good guys go. Definitely fixes things really well. But, if you’ve got a Magic Hammer from your father, How hard can it be? If he was a regular contractor, carpenter guy, I guarantee you you would be able to fix the damage that I do as quickly. When Felix does a good job, he gets a medal. But, Other medals for wrecking stuff really well? To that, I’d say “Hah!” Thirty (30) years, I’ve been doing this and I have seen a lot of other arcade games come and go. Kind of sad, really. All of those guys from Asteroids? Oh, gone. What about Centipedes? Who knows where that game is? A steady arcade game is nothing to sneeze at. I’m very lucky. It’s just.. I got to say. It’s just becomes kinda hard to love your job when no one seems to like you for doing it. I don’t know. Maybe I wouldn’t be feeling this way if things were different after work.

I’ve seen this before
While everybody knows Felix himself is modeled after Mario, I think Felix is more drawn after an extinct Nintendo character, Stanley The Bugman from Donkey Kong 3. They have the same hair style & they have no mustaches.

Not gonna lie I think I actually like the level theme and game over jingle better than in the regular .exe version of the game. I know it's from the movie but the way they're engineered makes them sound so authentic

eeeehhhh, the soundclips don't feel bitcrushed enough to be from an actual 1982 arcade game- there were some surprisingly good sound samples back then, don't get me wrong, but not THAT good

no, it’s just if you wanna play the game.
The only complaint is that the sound for when Felix grabs his hammer isn’t accurate. It’s a very unique sound. No one seems to have the sound available in mods or to download.

Oh my god, For real, After I watching Wreck It Ralph a long time ago, I decided to look a Arcade ROM of Fix It Felix Jr. to see if I ca play it, But realized it was never a real game at all, Just like Polybius.
It wasnt a real game but they made it into one after the movie
You know, Fix It Frlix Jr. is modeled after the Donkey Kong series of games. Hero going up a building,big villain sending stuff down to keep the hero from doing what he's doing etc. Thing is on Donkey Kong Jr.,Mario, who in Donkey Kong(named Jump Man) was the hero, is the villain and Donkey Kong Jr is the hero. Well,if there's a Fix It Felix Jr.,was there a ln original Fix It Felix? If so,,if it follows the Donkey Kong series,does that mean Wreck It Ralph was the hero in the original and Fix It Felix Jr's dad was the villain?

Wonder how Ralph feels after being thrown off the building so many times and the same for Felix how many times does he get hit by a bricks being dropped on him. I understand it’s a video game, but getting hit in the head by bricks is super fatal.

Why is every video I see of this game not movie accurate. Ralph is supposed to smash a large part of the upper floor and the bulldozers and cranes don't make noise.
Yeah believe me I know, I wish a version existed with those features. Maybe I'll code one myself someday...
Also the Pie Powerup that Felix gets, in the movie, it makes him invincible AND it makes him fix all the windows in the level. But in these videos, it just makes him invincible. But I get why the mods take that feature out, it would make the game too easy.

You should be able to put the sound files in the game's Data folder, replacing the old ones.
