由橫琴粵澳深度合作區城市規劃和建設局主辦、澳門特別行政區政府市政署協辦，廣州市嘉卉園林綠化建築工程有限公司承辦的“蓮彩聚琴澳”第二屆橫琴荷花節於2024年6月14日至23日在中國廣東省珠海市橫琴粵澳深度合作區荷花園舉行。
本片拍攝的荷花名為逸仙蓮，花朵的碟狀花瓣為白色、尖部紅紫色、基部淡黃色為它的特徵。株型高大，花大葉子也大，霸氣十足，花姿瀟灑，且花期超長，結實性良好。它以偉大的革命先驅孫中山先生的字為名，原產地為南京，屬於大株型少瓣類複色型荷花。逸仙蓮的培育地點位於南京浦口區的藝蓮苑，占地約三十三公頃，擁有近千個荷花品種和兩百多個睡蓮品種，是全球最大的荷花繁育基地之一。逸仙蓮曾獲第二十三屆全國荷花展荷花新品種獎。
本屆橫琴荷花節主題為“樂享荷香”，旨在憑“香”喻意，延續琴澳兩地一衣帶水的歷史脈絡，讓市民大眾深入體驗橫琴自然生態的無窮魅力，並藉此推廣中國傳統文化與非遺元素之美。
在佔地約4.5萬平方米的荷花園內，大規模展示着，打造如“鏡湖三百里，菡萏發荷花”的弘大75個荷花品種場景。荷花節特意選取“神州美·粵”、“神州美·澳”兩大品種作為主題花，展現神州大地上的粵澳款款情深。
同時，在以中國革命進程為序的“中國紅”系列荷花中，精心挑選北京、瑞金、韶山、西柏坡、嘉興、井岡山、延安等7個“中國紅”品種，宣揚中國紅色文化，讓市民遊客在賞荷遊覽中緬懷崢嶸歲月。
本屆橫琴荷花節圍繞自然生態、琴澳特色、民情風俗等豐盛多彩的內容，推出16組荷風打卡景組、11個科普攤位、10場研學活動及34場科普導賞，營造共遊、共創、共學、共樂的熱烈氛圍。
