Gamera is one of my favorite players in Granblue, but it’s been a lot of fun watching him fight Koyao. Koyao adapts to Gamera really well in this matchup and I learned quite a bit about how to fight my own character. Koyao had some really great spot-dodges and rolls in this match against certain moves of Trixxy and I’ll definitely be incorporating those strategies into my own play. Great match. 👍
Why is it that Gamera never tried to go for a safejump in the entire match, even tho he had plenty of opportunities to do so? Is it because safejumps lose to Narmaya's parry? (her 623H)
Narmaya 623U (Not H version) can potentially beat safejumps/jabs. I THINK Beatrix as a character gets more reward from throwing 236M on opponent wakeup to frametrap than going for a jump-in.
@@TonyShen11I could be wrong, but I think you piano the jab and Brave Counter. If they go for a delayed jump-in, I think the game will register you blocking first and the Brave Counter will come out. Otherwise, if the jump-in isn’t timed well enough, the delayed jab input will come out before the Brave Counter and the jab will check them. I’m just guessing, however. It could be a different timing on the inputs. Someone else can correct me if I’m wrong.

Maybe he knows the meaty timing? He is a pro after all.

Delayed jab + brave counter is a universal OS that makes safejumps a pretty bad option compared to safejab or meaty projectile
@@forseti7249can you explain how to do this OS?
