What a compliment, “Olivia is so easy to love”.
This is such a brilliant film, and started my love-affair of Olivia Colman.
This is the first and only movie I have ever seen which feels like an authentic presentation of domestic violence. Olivia Colman's reactions are absolutely spot on. When her character feels horror, it is visceral.
I think Eddie Marsan has the most amazing face in terms of the roles he can play. Brilliant film. Wish Paddy would do more, they always reach me in some deeper way than the mainstream bollocks. And Olivia is an amazing actress, theres just something very special about her that I can't put my finger on. Amazing.
That look at 25:21 between Eddie and Olivia makes me so happy because their relationship in the film couldn't be further from that smile.

Very good interveiw, seen this film a few years ago and was touched utterly by the realness of it, I watched it again last night and it was seeing a masterpiece, catching reality in a film could not have been better done, one thing is sure all involved awarded us (the viewer) something as large as life it's self

After I watched this movie I cried for 2 days. Then my wife watched it and she's still tearful 3 hours after watching it and doesn't know why. When last have you been taken on such an emotional journey with a movie?

I *love* how Olivia describes Hannah as "a Christian with a very strong faith" rather than saying she's very religious, as so many people who don't understand Christianity, do. I'm a Christian too, and her portrayal of that is *excellent!!*

God this film was a crueling watch,incredible performance's,Olivia was just phenomenal,but a slog,I thought Nil by Mouth was bad,I think this was more depressing.
The film was garbage. Also the dog would have been destroyed.
Xmas day 2022, watched the film for the first time after a repeat viewing of Dead Mans Shoes. Humbug just doesn't even cover it. Either way best wishes🎄🎄
