Counter Attack [Quake II Cover]

Cover of one of many awesome tracks from the Quake II soundtrack. Original music by Sonic Mayhem (a.k.a. Sascha Dikiciyan).
Finished the new amazing Quake II remaster that has been released recently. When I played the game as a kid, my version of the game sadly didn't have any music. It took me years to find out how good the soundtrack was. It's not very melodic but it's perfect for the type of game Quake II is. Fantastic riffs with industrial elements.
Fun fact: the riff at 0:24 alternates between a bar of 6/8 and a bar of 7/8. However, the drums still continue playing in 4/4 which creates this slightly chaotic polyrhythmic feel. It took me a while to transcribe it for the cover.
