If you think about it, the spectator count was better than easy anti-cheat
fr, and i'm pretty sure cheaters can see how many spectators they have anyways. Having 5+ spectators while you're fighting the last squad added to the adrenaline rush. Sadly Respawn is Respawn, nothing we can do.
@@HoldenLongwood fortnite still has spectator counts and it's insane. i was in a ranked zero build solo game, and i had like 19 spectators by the end (probably queued up for the next match)
@@HoldenLongwood They do yes or at least some of them I guess. I found a cheater livestreaming his cheats on TikTok & you could see a spectator icon appearing everytime he'd kill people. The thing was legit since you'd see it rise with every kills & drop every now and then.

I ran into 3 cheaters this week, all of them are in Solos
Id rather see tap strafing get removed all together they already got rid of it for controller players. And they just add punch boosting because it doesn't require any binds or anything :(

What get's me is that punch boosting was apparently in the game from the start, it was only on Storm Point that someone discovered it! I can't believe it went unnoticed for so long!
@@SmileyBones555 right? The only other ways it was even vaguely used was for fall stun cancel movement but was never actually utilised down a hill. Hell… even the firing range hill went unpunchboosted for 16 whole seasons 😭

I remember finding out about punch boosting when Ottr posted a video about it, I was so shocked about it went straight to Apex played horizon and was punch boosting a lot down hills, got me a win too😶🌫️

I miss the hidden church under the OG firing range. I never got to see it but I was able to glitch outside the firing range which was fun.

Preds never used the dive tails anyway because of "punch the pred". And where are the dive tails for the other prestige skins.

I wish they rotate og map configurations like kings canyon world’s edge and Olympus. I feel like some changes made the maps worse. Especially Kings canyon. They tried to fix 3rd party’s but made it worse

Arenas definitely not blinded by nostalgia. Me and many people ik played mostly arenas and quit when it was removed. And tdm gets has not been good enough to bring us back as much.
You forgot about season one where you could inspect your gun on zip lines
A thing that was removed in early days of apex - hitting ground to cancel slowing down from falling.
In first 3-4 seasons u could punch ground at right timing and you won't be slow down, and i am still do it with no effect, but just like a habit
Punch boosting was not removed but fixed, it was a clear that the game physics was going bad somehow, like when loot bins could skyrocket you into orbit after some punches.
Man they need to bring back punch boosting

One of the things I also didn't like that respawn did was removing skills required mechanics like being able to take out your gun while shooting valkaries missiles or being able to make fuses ultimate super big if you threw a grenade in the sky and timed it just right so that your ultimate hit the grenade and made it super big this made fuse so much more fun to play
That Spartan themed Wraith skin was fire! 🔥 I want that in the main game
Season 8 had so many great modes in its limited time month. It was like every few days were unique modes. It sucks we'll wait forever to just MAYBE play it again
Kind of an uncommon one but being able to leave the OG firing range boundaries. If you used pathfinder; you could get to where the drop ship is parked. Even get a look inside with crypto’s drone. One of my favorite experiences exploring apex
I remember hearing that the reason that the train LTM ( something Express ) was removed because Respawn said it was too hard to get it to work with Conduit and Catalyst's ultimates, so they just gave up ! xD

The thing I miss the most is Arenas, I wish they had brought the weapon selection from arenas to the deathmatch modes

i actually LOVE that the animation is locked behing wattsons perk. More personality and a tiny bit more lore behind it

As a Wattson main, I always felt that it was super random for Wattson to have a unique revive animation. I've seen it thousands of times and I'm not sad that it's locked behind a perk, it makes more sense than just having a different animation for no reason. My main complaint is that her upgrade should give shield, not health, and stack with the gold knockdown. And to balence it, they should make her other level 2 perk be able to see ult accelerants through walls like Loba with high tier loot. It would go really well with her split circuit level 3 perk
Her revive giving shield instead of health is a super dumb idea. For example, if I revive you with 50 health HP (like it works currently) you get to immediately shield swap (if you just finished a fight) OR if you got revived mid fight, a battery takes way less time to use than a med kit to get you as close to full HP as possible before getting back into the fight.
Changing it to give you shields would force you to take a medkit instead of a cell or battery. And I would guarantee you that it would cause you to die from instant 3rd parties more often. It's perfect how it is.
@@s-p-a-c-e-man5909 No, first off it makes no sense for Wattsons character to give health instead of shields. Secondly, it's already a pretty useless perk because most teammates will pop a Phoenix kit, armor swap, and/or med kit right after a rez anyway regardless if it gives health or shields. And if you stack the rez with a Wattson gen the teammate will just have to rip off a medkit and then they are fully reset from the comfort of your Wattson setup. Also if you cant prevent a push from an instant third party, you're a shit Wattson, depending on the situation. After a fair 3v3, I am armor swapping and putting traps up instantly to create space to rez teammates. Lastly, why the fuck would you even pick the rez perk over seeing accelerants through walls so you can run split circuit and have double the ordinance denial?
@oldjebidiahbrown2454 as a wattson main with 30k kills and a 3kd in pubs and a 5.72kd in ranked that averages over 1000 damage a game im telling you it works perfectly how it is and you're wrong.

I've given my explanation and your best arguement is 'I got good stats so you're in the wrong' which is incredibly stupid because of course you are going to favor what you are already used to because you most likely play the game more than I do, however that doesn't completely invalidate my arguement to Wattsons perk tree because giving her a support perk that gives no shields is completely fucking random and doesn't fit the character.

I'll attempt to break it down further. Let's make everything equal to start. Assume everyone has blue shields. Assume all death boxes also have blue shields. Assume we're in an open field with little cover.
Current system:
1. Teammate gets knocked
2. You finish the fight, but a 3rd party is 10 seconds away
3. You rez teammates with perk
4. Teammate shield swaps a blue in a deathbox
5. Teammate now has 125HP
6. The 3rd party is now here, and there's no more time for heals.
Your idea:
1. Teammate gets knocked
2. You finish fighting, but the 3rd party is 10 seconds away
3. You rez teammate with shield HP
4. Teammate shield swaps a blue armor in a deathbox
5. Teammate now has 95HP
6. 3rd party is here, and there's no more time to heal.
Understand now? Your idea takes health away from your teammates. You're asking for 3rd parties to have a bigger advantage than they already do. That extra 30 HP may not seem like a lot, but it is. The scenario i just laid out happens infinitely more than a scenario where you need 2 pylons down at the same time and that scenario happens infinitely more than my need for ult excells. It's simple math and statistics. Which choice is going to benefit the team the most and which choice will help me the most amount of times during any given game. The answer? Giving my teammates 50 health apon revive.
This video could have easily been 3 times as long and I would have watched it. Nothing like a trip down memory lane for that nostalgia drip 💉

Another valid reason to remove punch boosting was because it would make all high ranking apex clips really confusing. Imagine watching ALGS and everyone is just punching the walls.

The reason they removed skydive trails was mainly because people would follow and punch preds off drop which made preds stop using those trails making them useless

The amped revive perk is a must have for wattson. Not just for the animation, but also because its undeniably better than spawning arc stars
I once lost a game cause i wanted to try the arc star pylon for fun. My friend would have survived the zone if i took the extra health perk instead lmao.
The arc stars perk works pretty well if you're holding down a contested area and enemies are flinging nades you ways; good way of pushing back
About train you forgot to mention, that they cancel Christmas express last year :( my favourite one
punch boosting should’ve came back for the april fools event. we had guns that made us fly so i dont see why we cant go fast 😂
Arena was so good because of the 3v3 aspect. No third party just 3v3 it was so good I had a lot of fun in it. Hope it’s coming back
i think they should give wattson a new revive animation. let her keep the og one without the perk and then give her a souped up looking animation with the perk.

The train was removed in season 6, not 4. Even with the newly added fragment pois the tracks were untouched until season six where it was removed and train cars were scattered intop of the tracks
I just realized that spectator icon is actually might be pretty helpful. If they stop the cheat when more people spectate then it's a win. Isn't it?

We forgetting about fight or fright? I loved that event! I don't mean that 3 person per team and when they die they come back as a shadow, I mean that 1 v 59 Fight or Fright at night on king canyon.
The spectator count being removed doesn't do anything for cheaters, most source engine cheats have options that shows how many and who is spectating you
Hey FYI, the train wasn't removed in Season 4
The dive Trail removal was one of the worse things they ever did. I used to enjoy being matched with people who can actually play the game instead of being matched with the level 3 trashcan that just downloaded the game.
The thrill of being matched with a Predator that was worse than myself was also interesting and made for good content when clipped.

I really miss the old Holo-Day Bash event, it just gives me such nostalgia.
Lifeline doesn’t need a ‘rework’, she’s balanced as it is.
I’d say all she needs is a new ultimate as it doesn’t suit her kit or the meta of modern apex gameplay.
The increased speed of her ultimate is nice, it’s just that her ultimate isn’t useful like basically every other legend
Think of the skins like the reason why LoL: Wild Rift gets skins for mobile on certain champs and cant be transferred over, different engines are used so atm Riot is testing if they can port over some of the Wild Rift models into League of Legends, it is possible to do so but they probably have to rebuild some codes or change some things in order to do it. The only thing I seen so far on this was an updated version of Malphite in the Skarner rework video so if that works out then Riot might save time on VGUs and be able to transfer over their skins from mobile but it should take some extra work which EA is not willing to do for a game like Apex.

I miss the story missions you could do. Could even do them with 2 people. Yeah you was only fighting ai but it was fun
I have not played since they removed arena. I would often play with Friends below my skill level which made Battle Royale miserable. Arena was just our go-to game to mindlessly play while having a chat. Even when they do add it back, I doubt we'll return.
From what I've seen cheaters know when they are being spectated, what I do is switch teammates and wait for a fight to start to spectate the suspected cheater, but if they are all cheating obviously they can tell each other they are being spectated...

i dont know how everyone magically misses arenas, after non-stop shitting on it while it was out. as an arena enjoyer, i would love if they did bring it back, and actually fixed the balancing, which they'd never do.
I miss winter-express L.T.M... Before arenas (yuck arenas) and control it was the closest thing to a TDM and alternate game mode with multiple lives. I used to play Winter Express for hours and never get tired of it, but other more permanent modes never hit me the same engagement nuerons.
I hate the removal of skydive trails. Not because i ever got one - outside of season 17 - but because they were the perfect indicator for me to leave a round, because the matchmaker is shit and puts me in another pred lobby.
I am an average player that plays for fun. Not to sweat in all day, everyday for hours on end.
Now i can only tell by the champion screen and it sucks. My teammates are usually below lvl 100 and noobs while i need to fight the top preds... this season i got lobbies with the number 26, 104, 250 and 64 pred from last season... WTF
I am hardstuck plat - if i really grind - and not one of the top 0.1% of players...
The matchmaker sucks so much that i can't even enjoy any new LTM anymore, cause i know that it will be flooded with those no-lifer sweats -.-
Totally a feature and definitely not a glitch was the crypto/rampart assault drone back in season 6 which was way WAY too fun allot of people feel it should be a mode in and of itself but we all know it's never coming back
(I still test to see if they slip up evey season or so you never know when they could pull a BF2 palpatine)

My main game was Arenas.
While not every round was great,
I loved the very energy of this mode.
I still miss it and want it back.
Mixtape became unbearable now, too.
So, for now I removed Apex entirely,
which is sad, because I actually do love it.
It's just no fun for me anymore in its very state.
I just wish they would separate input matchmaking.
It's sad that I will never play apex the way I once did at least that's how I feel ATM. 2000+ hours in and it just doesn't feel the same
For more information on why Apex Mobile was scrapped. The mobile games space is the biggest in Asia, most prominently China, in order to get your games into China, you need to go through a major game distributor like Tencent/Baidu/Alibaba. Not only did Respawn's deal with Tencent in China fall through, they also failed to promote and allow the game in other countries where many fans are anticipating the game. Out of all the Asian countries only a handful got to play them. In the end, not enough people play and not enough people spend. The game died because the operation cost wasn't worth it and they pulled the plug. Some of the skins that are in the Apex Mobile probably will never hit the main game because the skins are most likely designed by Quantum or Lightspeed so it is technically their property even if the IP is Respawn's.
HOWEVER, the studio behind Apex Legends Mobile, Quantum Studios, did not want the game to just die off, so they went to Tencent and did the most sensible thing. Make an Apex Mobile clone with shiny "new" characters with the same abilities and a little twist on some of them. And because its China, they decided to do away with all the "ugly characters" and put waifus into them instead.

with the mobile skins you have to remember that they are made for phones and need to not take up alot of graphics performance so they are mostlikely very low in res for pc so they would have to remake them from scratch.
They should reborn legends but keep the old ones so we can play both cuz I will miss them
