That 2nd Amazon driver is the standard we expect from everyone in the mail delivery industry.
- gently places packages at entrance
- attempts to notify occupant that the packages have been delivered
- respects the property

also looking crap anyway, so not really problematic when a person walks over there for 5 seconds.

Anyone that's ever worked in a package handling facility can tell you, anything you see here is nothing compared to what happens in the facilities. Your packages made it through that. Them tossing it 3 feet won't do anything extra.
So true. The packages get thrown so many times before they reach your door. That will never change.
Wow. FedEx divered one package. I'm surprised. Millions of people don't get theirs. I'm still waiting 6 months for mine.
The one amazon driver literally stepped on the dead part of grass and got on the pavement. That’s a +2 in my book

They dont get paid enough I feel like fedex is being a little too dramatic by throwing it on your doorstep but they should atleast care a little cause what if you order something and it arrives broken, how would you feel?
Maybe you should make your pathway more convenient for you grass since you’re so worried about it. Also, maybe try watering it a bit more, it’s looking a little pekid.
It's a house lawn in the fall or winter, not an MLB manicured summer field. 😒
I don't know about the math on your scoring system. Amazon looks like a total of +6 and one walking on the grass X in three visits. FedEx is a total of -3 and two walking on the grass X-es in two visits. How do you get "FedEx -2, Amazon +3" out of that?
But its just grass

How about fixing your pathway in a way that makes sense for people to walk up to your doorstep without stepping on the grass
I would just get a P.O. Box and have all my FedEx, Amazon, ect delivered to the physical address of the Post Office with box included. Way safer than having packages on the porch and they don't get delivered to the wrong house or stolen. Plus with POB, you can go on vacation and not worry about your packages getting delivered when you're away.
I use an Amazon Hub location

I am surprised the fedex didn’t just get out of the truck and punt the package.
In my neighborhood, FedEx misdelivered a parcel with the same street number, but a different street name and the package was damaged. A FedEx driver fashioned handles. When we called FedEx, it took them 4 days to deliver the package to the right address; the next street.
