Seems to be new chimney. You should demonstrate this process with used chimney to know the Automatic cleaning effectiveness.

I never find oil in the oil collection tray. Oil is dripping from the bafle plate and falling in the stove.
After auto clean, first you have to switch off the chimney, you will get shock when cleaning internally with wet cloth. Take care.

I think you not giving attention to the wall and kitchen granite cracks which seems to be some things serious. at any point of time the items whichs are fixed on the wall will fall down, please be careful.
