*Note for people who want to reach this room on NIGHTMARE difficulty for resources.* I went there in the beginning of Mission 16, which is basically freeroam since you have all the necessary tools to get everywhere. After using the torch, take the elevator to the right which leads to the Lorenz lobby, and then from there go to the Transit station and take the transit to Solomons Habitation Tower. Go up the stairs, and from that point you can use the video. It took me a little under 10 minutes to get there (and even less to come back to the story path) and I used several save points along the way. I went at a walking distance (not crouching or running). Thankfully, the Xenomorph never came to me and there were no Working Joes like they were last time in Mission 11 , so I guess they have all despawned at that point. I only encountered one Working Joe guarding the hallway up the stairs at 1:55 and I could easily sneak into the room without him seeing me, no resources wasted. Remember that if you turn right at 1:06 and up the stairs you will find a save point, the closest to the Joe encounter, in case you mess up. In the trip back, I saw two joes in the Lorenz Systech lobby. I just ran around them and into the elevator. Make a save when you reach Lorenz Systech station just to be safe. Another reason to save in this station during your return to the story path is that this is the closest save point (that I know of) to the next save point you find in the story, which is after the guys with guns. Inside the room (which I searched thoroughly), I found the following items: 2 shotgun shells 1 stun baton charge 2 EMP mines 2 molotovs 1 sensor 1 ethanol 1 blasting cap ^These are just the actual, physical items I found laying around in the room, and these types of items are not always randomly generated. I suspect everyone will get these. Aside from these, the cabinets (whose contents are often randomly generated) gave me the following: 1 flare 5 scraps 1 charge pack Keep in mind that 99% of drawers, cabinets etc give absolutely nothing on Nightmare difficulty, and yet both cabinets in this room gave me stuff. This means that, while the content is RNG, it is almost certain you will find something useful there too. If at any point you regret taking this path away from the story, you can always pause and load mission 16, which will put you in the exact state you were in when you first entered mission 16, so all the resources ammo etc you had on you. This means you have nothing to lose by going there, except a few minutes of your time.
I’ve always wondered why the code isn’t in the actual game somewhere. I never was able to find it. I thought the code, might have been the spray paint number on wall in the main area where you meet Axel. I would have never thought that Mike Tanaka has an Alien Isolation Twitter page Lol !
Man! I was so mad I couldn’t backtrack to this area due to being at the end of the game when Sevastopol is completely falling apart 😰 but wow what a loaded room! PS: that audio was soo good, made me tear 😢
Thanks for uploading this. I went back here too but could not find the code to that loot. Also, I never saw the ceiling vents so the alien was very unpredictable in this section.
Do you have a video that shows how to get the recording where Kulman was? When is the best opportunity to back track everywhere to gather all recordings, Nostromo logs, computer logs and I.D. tags?
It was ages ago I played this, if my memory serves me correct it's Mission 16 when you can backtrack. Also, yeah, Kuhlman, I remember seeing that recording flashing in his room taunting me, I think I never actually got it. :(
You can actually do it before the Anesidora mission. Just after you pick up the SAT upgrade, rather than hacking the door you have to go through, you need to find an elevator somewhere near the ambulance bay and take it up to the psychiatric ward. You can now hack the door near Dr. Morley's office, which is a passage to the room that Khulman was hiding in.
+Tommy Sasaki The actual twitter account is linked in the Description. I found it marvelous that they included the passcode in one of his tweets, it all looks so legit. ^^
Meh... As I see it, going all that way and taking all those risks for so few resources is absolutely not worth it, especially in nightmare mode. At least they could have put many more bullets (also for the pistol), and some charges for the flamethrower; then maybe it would have made sense. There needs to be a fair balance between risk and reward, otherwise the game isn't worth the money.

I wanna say thank you and that you’re a hero for spending the time of day to spread the word to others where to get more items. You’re goated. 🫡

There is a closed room upstairs in the Lorenz Sys Tech Spire area. He wants a keycard. Were you able to open it?
Thank you
