Nothing touches me more than the death of a child. I lost my 1 and only child back in 1983. I found him passed away at 5:25 am. in his crib after i got home from work. S.I.D.S. Was the cause. Could never understand how a child could "forget" to breathe. The anniversary of his passing is coming up. Daddy misses you, my little Josh. Dont mean to bring anyone down. im alone, and it is playing on my mind. Parents, please hold your children and tell them what they mean to you. God bless Ron and all. Ron, you handle these stories with such respect and dignity that are lacking with so many others doing these types of streams.
So sad to read of the loss of your only son. I worked with a doctor who investigated SIDS (sudden Infant Death syndrome). They have since identified a number of causes , maybe you have read of these discoveries. Born with an immature thymus gland, babies sleeping on their fronts or sides, and not being able to get a good breathe, a minor infection. God bless you and comfort you.
@@mam8982 thank you. I purposely never had another child and made sure any woman i had a relationship with knew that. I could never go through that pain again. I avoided looking into children's illnesses. I worked for Kings Park State Hospital on Long Island. Also worked at nursing & adult homes. It was the final straw for my marriage. I pray SIDS goes the way of T.B. Thank you & God bless.
It is so poignant to think that each grave marker reflects a unique human being with a unique story, they had families, hopes, dreams and the sun shone upon their faces...all gone now. Thank you for shining a light upon their lives once again, Ron.❤
Well said. Thank you. So heartfelt. Yes they felt the sun on their face, and they laughed, they cried, they danced. Nice to know they are remembered. 💚
I can't wait to watch this new episode next week after work.. I'm glad that you do ordinary people. Because they have sometimes most amazing an Fascinating stories as well ..Have a great Sunday everyone
I was born and raised in Phoenix. I grew up exploring Greenwood, as many relatives and friends are laid to rest there. As always you are kind and respectful to the people that have passed on. Thank you for all you do.
You do such a wonderful job bringing these fascinating stories to life. After all these years, most of these people, if not all, are surely forgotten and deserve to be remembered. Your drone work and musical accompaniment are AWESOME! Thank you, Ron (and Deb!)
This was fascinating and sad. I am glad these people are being remembered. Thank you for all you do. There is a cemetery here overgrown and gate locked that I can’t even visit the people. It’s sad 😢 Rest in Peace to them all 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love hearing and seeing these random stories, Ron. These are stories that could have belonged to any one of us. Just typical everyday folks like you and me. These children's stories are always the hardest to hear. The family with all of those tragedies happening is just unbelievable. Makes you wonder if family curses are for real. Ron, as always you did a fantastic job on telling these tragic tales and thank you to Deb for all of her hard work in outlining them in order to help you bring all of these stories to life. Great team you two are!
The untold and forgotten stories are way more interesting. We are all familiar with the famous people . Other than visiting the gravesites , not much else to add. And many times , the well known have been cremated and ashes scattered somewhere. Always enjoy the FOTF adventures.
This was a very enjoyable video despite the sadness involved in these stories. All of these people were brought from the shadows of the past into the present again which was a respectful thing to do. I especially enjoyed the drone footage! Thanks again to Ron and his history researcher!
Such beautiful music. So heavenly. I love your music choices and the fly ins with little Jimmy. I enjoy hearing you talk about all these life stories. You and Deb do such a great job uncovering long lost info and life stories. Thank you both for all the hard work and dedication you both do to pull these FOTF adventures together. Top notch every time.
I love hearing the stories of these people. I always wonder what happened as I walk through a cemetery. You present these stories in such a dignified way. Thank you! Thank you to Deb too, who works hard finding so much Information and pictures too!
I love these very interesting stories of families and their histories. All the stories were of ordinary folks that were handed down deep tragedies. These stories are always the most interesting to hear. Ron of coarse is an awesome narrator. So you get a great telling of the story.❤❤❤
Excellent opening, very well done! You do such a good job telling these sad stories. Thanks for caring. My father, born in 1926, got TB, spent some time in the hospital. Rest was the only cure, at least for him, his mother was poor. $ as always is key. The death penalty doesn't have any deterent value if you spend 20 -40 yrs waiting. Thank you
I think I am enjoying just listening to people like us just common people who would love to know that their stories were being told and that they were not forgotten at least for the day. Great job.
Hi Ron.... awesome stories of the past ...very interesting and informative and also sad.....thanks for your dedication and research to bring us these history stories..you rock....take care...... Deborah 🇨🇦
Interesting episode! No effective treatment for TB until 1952...penicillin wasn't effective. 🎉🎉🎉. Thanks for all your work in researching, producing, and sharing these stories.
I love it when you use your drone! You always get some breath taking videos. You should make a video of just all your drone shots. I absolutely love them
Appreciating your videos from Kentucky. I've enjoyed cemetery walk-throughs and reading as many stones as possible since childhood. Thank you for bringing us these stories!
Fascinating. It’s so easy to dismiss old graves but they were people too experiencing the good the bad the ugly and everything in between on this journey we call life. Thank you for remembering them ❤
I love the story you do of the common people. You bring them back too life as you tell their story. Do more of this please. Daniel from fortvalley Georgia USA.
Hi Ron, this was so well done! From the research you and Deb did and the lovely music to finding the graves, just outstanding! All of these people had stories that we now know because of the energy and efforts you make. ❤ Thank you ❤

you got this Nancy. we got your back!!!!!!!!!
Flax was called 'tow'. It was very light to white colored so anyone with white or very light hair was towheaded.
That's so wonderful to know ❤
In Ireland we called children with blonds hair ' flaxen haired' and I never knew why... maybe this is the answer....
I can't wait to watch this new episode next week after work.. I'm glad that you do ordinary people. Because they have sometimes most amazing an Fascinating stories as well ..Have a great Sunday everyone

Sally Rand is a forgotten entertainer. Unlike most youth I know who she was and amazed about her guts. Can’t want for that tonight
I saw her in person in Chicago in the 1970’s
I love these with ordinary people. Reminds me of the early walks when you started the channel ❤. Thank you for remembering 🙏
