This match has been one of my main points when describing Djoko as the GOAT even before he reached the GS record, I think a big thing to consider is highest level of a player, I like to think of it as if each of the big 3 versed each other and all played their absolute best who would be victorious, and I feel this match is a good reference for that person being Djokovic, yes you can argue Nadal has had some great performances on the dirt but I think across the board this match really showed the complete and utter dominance Djokovic had over high level Nadal, and has had in other matches too.
When Novak's forehand is on.. Which is not always the case, then he becomes a ruthless dictator... Even on his worst days his backhand does the job for him.. But somehow his forehand is mercurial... But when its ON, he transforms into an all conquering, no weakness scary monster.. Nothing seems to get past him, none seems to escape his wrath. Extraordinary level that he gets to when his forehand is on song.

Andy Roddick (so called rivalry of Peak RF) Post 2012 olympics: They are playing at very different level , than what he was used to be before (clearly before 2010). And then his epic comment of," First he takes your legs and than your soul". Medvedev post US 2021: He is the GOAT. Zverev post US 2021 SF" Djokovic is the GOAT with that stats. Pete Sampras ( the GOAT himself): With what he has accomplished over the decade, Novak Djokovic is clearly the GOAT. Stefano Tsitsipas post AO 2023: He is the greatest ever to hold a racket. Nick Kygrios: We have sculpted a monster. RF is the most influential, but Novak is the greatest. Toni Nadal: "When we used to play against RF, we always had a plan to beat him, but in case with ND, you don't have a plan, even if you have one, it clearly doesn't work". Boris Becker: Novak is the GOAT. Goran: Novak is the GOAT. Every tennis stats is one sided now, apart from Rafa's incredible clay records. As per majority of top tier tennis pro player (only those who can stand on their words) regards ND as the GOAT. As per multiple tennis polls since 2018 session, every poll has atleast 51% vote with ND as the GOAT. its not embarresing comparing him to Nadal, they are both incredile by saying that you have no tennis knowledge
Complete pummeling of Nadal. Not many people can do this
Quel match fantastique ça prouve que Le patron du circuit ATP... Le meilleur . Le Goat. Le plus fort
Le champion c Le serbe ,il é exceptionnel . Un sportif hors-pair
Bravo Djoko. Félicitations 💕✍🎾👏.
He was amazing in this match, even better than now??
I wanna see the stats for the distance that the players ran in this match. I wonder how lopsided they would be.
Never Federer, Nadal, Nalbandian or Wawrinka achieved this level.
Combination of power and accuracy
sometimes (jordan, maradona, bolt, senna, bubka, tyson and few others) sport become art, there is new entry in the club: novak djokovic
Nole hits Nadal. I've never seen anyone at that level. 🥶🥶
One of the perfect match on hard court for Nolé . The Greatest
The depth, precision, the movement. Basically a tennis robot design to play perfect, calculated tennis.
If it had been this version of Djokovic at the recent AO semifinal, Sinner would be crushed.
@@rksleungwell sinner doesn’t let Djokovic dictate the play tho , different ball game
This was prime Djokovic and not this one from 2023.
this is not tennis from planet earth. maybe the best tennis that can be played.
Novak on 🔥!
What a domination
nadal bowed to novak and pretty much always bows to him, but his fans never do.
great match..
great players
😉
Nadal’s 61 6-0 7-5 win against Novak in 2020 FO was far more impressive
@@yussepig6629Джокович король по статистики больше выигровал Надаля
As I recall, Rafa himself said of Djokovic here that he never experienced his level of tennis before.
Rafa was done here. This match hurt him a lot!
Djokovic is too much on fast hard courts. Djokovic is the king of fast hard courts.
Are you forgetting his 5 Wimbledon, where he defeated the best grass courter Federer ??
* defeated federer in 3 of those.
You mean slow hard courts. The courts are mostly slow these days and even the fast ones have been slowed down like US open, Cincinnati, Paris masters
Lost hard court Slams to Wawrinka,Nishikori and Murray...Sounds legit...
Actually cincinati and qatar hard courts are faster than miami and indian wells, us open and australia. Roger can beat novak on those fast hard courts.
Djokovic leads in the total h2h. Djoko will go above nadal's 20 slams too. and dont forget novak has most weeks as nr 1.
10:34 look at this shot. Just look at it.
Otra paliza del mejor de la historia Nole sobre el hijo español 💪👊
2:18 best rally ever played? Amazing ball hitting, full power.
Que genio, Novak!!!!!!
…for Rafa…that handshake said it all…enough of just a beautiful…tactical and technical dismantling of your opponent…just left Rafa reeling…and feeling absolutely defenseless…😳😔♥️🌹
9:50 “Qué dices” hahaha, what a point from nole !
It just looked so easy for novak😂😂😂 what a game
Someone said that nadal was scared of novak in hard courts…… now i know why 😂😂😂
This match and the first 2 sets against Federer at the AO a couple of weeks after this match has to be some of the highest level tennis ever played. Ridiculous stuff
1 - 6 & 2 - 6.....and Nadal is the best player ???? Wrong adjective, it is 'CLUB' player.
By the half of the match commentators started to get speechless and near the end started to laugh, like they could not belive how is this possible, Novak level lost them for words.
This match for Djokovic is something like bout vs. Cleveland Williams for Ali. In this moment Djokovic was the most devastating tennis player who has ever lived.
One thing is pretty obvious in all these matches … the western commentators are blatantly pro nadal…. But pleased to see Novak shut these sycophants 😂
You know what the funny thing is, although Djokovic leads his H2H against Federer and Nadal, neither player has ever thrashed Novak on any surface, it's always been close, but Novak has literally thrashed both Roger and Rafael on many occasion. Shows that he is a class above both of them. And let me not even get into the fact that Nadal has no ATP Year End trophies and no Miami just to name a few. Just saying.
Haven't you seen the 2020 French Open, 3 straight sets from Nadal.
Djokovic is the GOAT
How sleepy the commentators were 🤣
Goat debate = over. agree?
4:54 nice opportunity for a selfie.
Beast...
Every head must bow and every tongue must confess," Djokovic is the greatest ever and the Muhammad Ali of Tennis". Post this match, even Rafa confessed that, he has never seen a tennis level ever since the time he started playing tennis.
Rafa after Doha 16': He has never seen anyone play at this level ever in his life time.
I reckon and really wonder, who are this toxic creatures who spit shit on every ND's video or undertaking. You may have RF or RN as GOAT, but please be a tennis fan and spare the joy for us who are hardcore ND fan. STOP BEING SO TOXIC FEDAL FAN, please.
Shat on Nadal’s existence, we love to see it 🤤

Rafa has not won a set against Novak since 2013 on hard courts ... Match is way too much for him ...
Yes we have to see them play one final time.
This is for xhamster y tube should remove

How much did Nadal owe him?

Lo redujo a la nada misma !
Ruthless
My Goodness!!!!
best performance ever for novak
I mean... He took Nadal's soul
I will be clear that Federer plays perfect tennis that can be played more than anyother player he produces so many shots and there are some crazy Federer shots.but Federer is not consistent with his shots or his famous performances. And i don't think even at his peak he can play as intelligent tennis as Novak because Novak has highest mentality i have seen in any tennis player that is why he is the greatest player.the most of the titles Novak possess has come from turning the matches upside down i remember how hard it was for Murray to win Wimbledon against him and latter was trailing like crazy but Novak nearly destroyed Murray even that Murray was leading like sets Novak took match above hours and i can't see a machine that Novak is he will play you for everypoint in the most crazy Aderline way as possible the guy is a machine i haven't seen player like Novak even though I like Nadal more than Novak but Novak is crazy.
This doesn't seem like the same aggressive Nadal from the 2008 Olympics match against Djokovic.
it’s obvious Nadal declined physically
Nor the same defensive Djokovic from 2008 OOGG.
2016 was one of his worst year and he is much worse physically since after RG 14
@@natoskull2 Djokovic gained very little from what Nada lost. Look at the video highlights. Any person with eyes can tell Nadal lost 80% of his movement
