Thanks for posting. Just had a PE on New Years Eve. After surgery and rehab I am feeling much better, but I want to understand why I am doing some of the things I have to do. This was an enormous help. I hadn't learned about valves in veins until I visited my surgeon for post up follow up. I was intrigued. Not one person told me about the mechanics of these veins.
Hello, pt56, I hope you're doing well now. I have had the same problem getting detailed info about my leg problems from all the doctors involved with my care over the years. they have absolutely NO time for you, and whatever literature they give you if any, is woefully insufficient for the average person. It was only recently when I befriended a retired doctor, who drew it all out for me in detail, and told me what the other docs and pt's were getting wrong!
Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "can you treat varicose veins while pregnant?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Panacob Psychological Preeminence - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing one off product for discovering how to destroy your varicose veins minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got excellent results with it.
Really bummed that I went to the website and it wasn't available. I need HELP bad. After I had a PE, a doctor told me to go and stay in bed for three months with only bathroom privileges. When I showed him the petechiae showing up on my legs two months in, he said he didn't know what they were. By the time I got a specialist to look at them, the damage was done. I no longer had a single valve that worked on the right and one working on the left. I swear doctors are there to write prescriptions to heal what food does to you. PERIOD. It is because the food and drug admin is in cahoots with the AMA. EDIT 7 years later!! I was diganosed with Erythromelalgia. This makes my legs "flare" red like sunburned and the heat that flows from them is incredible. The valves don't work still, the patichiea are all the way up to my thighs and I also have neuropathy and fibro. The Erythro has ruined my life. I can't use a blanket at night, I have to live in a temperature controlled room at 68 degrees. I can't stand in one place for more than a minute and I can't walk for more than five minutes. I can't wear anything on my legs now so skorts and shorts are all I have left to wear, well those and short dresses but I am too old for those. This is a fatal condition. I am only one of seventy one in the country with this diagnosis. It is horrific. Imagine being scalded every day and imagine if you can't go anywhere, do anything but sit and even that isn't ok sometimes. I can't get emotional either. No stress, no eating out, no friends execpt on the phone. Life sucks for me now but I have a loving husband to live for to not everything is doom and gloom.
Aos...hello...My family has this problem...now all brothers and sisters have varicose of veins..I myself cannot walk without stick..please help me Sir..what I shuldss
I also am curious about the substance that was injected into the superficial veins. I enjoyed the video. I need visual for better comprehension. so thank you.
I am 50 years old I suffered a fracture in the metatarsal bone of my right foot due to playing football a year ago. Only twenty days after applying the cast, I felt severe pain in the muscles of the back leg. Unfortunately, I did not know that it was a symptom of a leg stroke. I knew that it was a stroke in the deep and superficial veins after removing the cast. The gypsum remained installed for two months.. I was admitted to the hospital and they gave me blood clot medication for five days... and I spent nine days at home... and to this day I use blood thinners... My question: 1 Is there any hope that the vein valves will return to work? 2 How likely are you to develop varicose veins? 3 How likely are you to develop venous ulcers? 4 How often should I use compression stockings? Should I use them below or above the knee? 5 How often should I use thinners? 6 Should I go back to playing football or running?
I had ablation of the superficial veins in both legs but the problem still exists in the deep veins which they say are too dangerous to treat. I am only being offered a pump now. What will happen if this continues to get worse in the deep veins?
You can greatly assist blood flow in the deep veins with muscle movement, like exercises and walking. Deep vein valve problems are much more uncommon and typically don't cause the achy symptoms of Venous Insufficiency. See a Vascular specialist for their advice also.
Awesome explanations. I am really in need of the Pressure-time diagram which is explained in this video. Where can I find the reference for this diagram? PLEASE HELP
Large deep vein valve gets damaged after deep vein thrombosis. The possible treatment then could be to reconstruct the valve or replace the vein. But in practice this doesn't work as unlike heart valve which could be replaced, artificial valve in these veins simply gets thrombosed. Perfect deep leg vein replacements are not available. So the treatment pretty much is graded compression stocking and prescribed walking.
“reversing” is 110% misleading word. Let me think 🤔; it is 100% clickbait, isn’t it? Otherwise, the explanation treatment shown of the video is 🦵 legit.
So i watched this video bcz i am thinking it has solution for my vericose veins.." Is any process, remedy, or medicines, or treatment for repair my veins? Plz plz plz help me? I dont want to strip or close, or fill my veins by using foams.. 😭😢 help me...

Very informative video. I am still surprised that everyone says valves cannot heal The body can heal so many things....
EXCELLENT!! The best all encompassing video I’ve seen on this subject!

Where is your reflux in deep vein? What kind of pump??
I'm worried I hear treatment in superficial veins can make deep veins even worse. Did they tell u that?
I walked 8-9 km daily, but not helped cure of varicose veins.
Thank you for your comment

Horse chestnut cures valves & veins, right? :o

@@oufcena5092 If you shove it up the bottom, it might work :)
@@sergej132 It might be a reality, once we have the biological and technical expertise. Not a bad idea actually.
When are they going to finally address and put funding into the research and treatment of this issue? It’s a huge burden to society
