I've told you before and I'll keep telling you again and again.....you are by far the best reviewer I have ever seen on TH-cam! Your in depth reviews are spot on! You don't hold back on saying what you feel is wrong or can be improved on any rc sent to you. This is just one reason I follow you, that and because you explain things to those of us that are new to rc in such a way that we can understand what you are saying and not just throw out a lot of lingo that only veterans of rc can understand! That area was gorgeous! I have never been to the NE part of the US but I have seen everywhere from New York state south and west! That is definitely some beautiful country up there that I need to travel too someday. Thank you so much for all your great videos, reviews, and honest opinions! You are a great teacher for those of us still trying to learn as much as we can about the great world of rc! BTW I've been trying to post some videos to my TH-cam but they're no where near your quality! Maybe someday I'll get there! Lol.

Great video. I used to have a Blackfoot when I was a kid and I'm looking to get into RCing again so I'm doing some research.
I was blown away with your detailed review and I think this truck will be my entry back into this world. A lot has changed and I'm super excited. I use to off road full sized vehicles but with kids and life, it goes the way if the Dodo. This send like an awesome option to scratch that itch.

@The Sacrosanct Great I haven't had any problems. I swapped out a lot of the stock parts but not due to breakage, the stock servo is still going strong though lol. I also bought the Gatekeeper in kit version and I love that too.
Excellent review bro. Very thorough and well done. It's a great sign for the hobby I think, to have companies jumping in and taking us seriously. This truck looks like a winner. Obviously there's things people are going to complain about it not having but to me at that price point the first impression I'm getting from these reviews is that it's a good deal. 👍👍

Great video and review! Your review was very in depth with a lot of info. Great running footage also. I've been an AE car owner for over 30 years and I'm really excited to see them getting into the scale world. Excellent content and always!! This will be my next crawler I'm skipping the umg for now. And being Ae I dont need to upgrade right off just make it look like my own, interior and maybe 2 tone and some other little bits. A servo winch will be first, and it's ready for one, amazballs Ae!!
Hey It was nice to run into you at Proline by the fire. I'm really impressed by this rig having seen it in person... now to decide what to sell to make space for this guy. It really looks like a truck that needs very little replaced and this is coming from someone who usually replaces a good portion of the stock bits and electronics on crawlers. Good work Element RC!
Same! PLBTF was awesome! Bumpers need to be changed up, but nothing else is a must change at the start. They did great with this rig.

When I was a kid I used a empty case of beer as a paint shed for my models and my RC's... I would have been elated to have a paint shed that look like that box. I am 50 now and wanting to get back into scale trucks, but I have taking over 24/7 care of my ailing mother. So any money I obtained goes to her medicines, treatments and daily care items. I would so love to get back into RC scale trucks, but even as good a deal as this is, it's just not in my future.

Theres alot to like with this truck. I wish the body was a licensed 70’s Power Wagon but it looks more like an 80’s Ranger to me. Not a deal breaker tho. Nice job Associated.

When I saw the front of the truck it screamed out Ford Bronco to me, at least the grill does. Oh, maybe an international Scout, just the grill though. Regardless of what vehicle it is modeled after it looks cool, I like it. It looks like the big brother of the CR12. I am so proud of AE and the fact that they stepped up and made a 1/10 scale crawler to compete with the other companies. Who knows maybe I will become an AE snob again, I have already washed my hands of Traxxas and their constant bullying. YEAH AE!!!!! Great video man, you did that truck Justice.

I have been waiting for AE to start coming out with some stuff to compete with the other companies that are not known for racing, and they did not disappoint with this vehicle. I did a review of the CR12 and I was not impressed during the unboxing, but I was when I took it out for a test drive.

It reminds me of GTA vehicles, they are a mixture of make and models. I think the cab looks like a Ford Ranger 80's model, the headlight frames can appear chevy like. Tailgate definately looks Chevy inspired. It seems to move similar to Axial's SCX10.2 models. Thanks again. You Rock.

This is my next crawler for sure. I love this truck! Would have bought it already if it weren’t for the Axial SCX10 Blazer on Christmas sale! I stopped by Associated Electrics to check it out and they were super friendly, told me all about it showed me all the details. Axial is a few miles in the other direction. How lucky am I?
