Isn't better if you pick up on the flank instead of blade dancer or gnasher mastery? i mean its 115% damage which is crazy due to 60% gnasher mastery and its constant unlike blade dancer. And we know how complicated is flanking in gears 5 i mean you do it almost always in boss rushes: against carriers, snatchers,matriarch and electro is separating to 6 nearby enemy which guarantees its flanking.beside its crazy gnasher or longshot damage too. However its was my opinion abviously you're more pro than me love to know your opinion on this matter... Cheers.
Thanks for the comment :). 4 cards I always keep the same for Horde: Thrill, Shock Chain, Energy Surge and Brawler (since that melee buff is constant). If I play defense (so usually body guarding in Boss Rush) I often use Short Range Deflection. It's more interesting if my role is DPS and boss killing: Blade Dancer is nice but the DPS impact is only really felt on Drones and Wardens, and does very little while in ult, so it's imo best in Frenzy. Custom Gnasher is a great constant boost in ult, since you switch off the mace to cause Shock Chain. 60% more Bleed on everything while ulting is huge, and can help with charging ult afterwards. On the Flank is not constant though, and if you mace Carriers or Snatchers from the front you get nothing. The only situation where it would really make a difference is macing from behind like you said, but the thing is if you're behind e.g. a carrier and macing it, you're already good and safe, so imo the damage boost wouldn't really help the run beyond saving a little bit of time. Whole lotta yap but I just feel like the other three cards are better, more impactful options
