It is so strange and delightful when you share the same memories with someone you've never met. I was faire folk in Devore in the late 80s and happened to stumble upon your videos. I spent one of my summers working in the Quoits game booth, and gasped when that photo made me remember the fear of climbing that platform lol. Only did it once! Thank you for sharing and for preserving such a beautiful and magical moment in time. ❤ happy happy memories.☀️
Much Much Better... from 1989 the faire wrapped around the lake, a very magical place then. It might have been the Ozzfest (1996) or just something else but eventually they wound up moving the faire more closer to the street causing the faire to lose the lake . It was never the same after that.
@@RobsMemoryLane We haven't been to 'Faire' since 2002. Last year we tried the Koroneberg Ren Fest.....it just wasn't the same. The best thing about Koroneberg was the jousting arena.
@@26scootinkitten19 I'm taking my family tomorrow, but it seems the Irwindale location is pretty lame. It's all tents. No buildings. Very little shade. Cheap hay bales to sit on. $42 as well. Way more expensive than many others I've researched. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to experience the Devore location. Thank you for enlightening me

Ur Very Welcome D Lynn. 💖
Was the festival better when it was in Devore than it is now in Irwindale?

@@26scootinkitten19 do you still attend the Irwindale one?
