And I do not agree with TH-cam reviewers saying BSA they're relaxed at a 100 km/h, because the engine might be relaxed, but it surely doesn't mean you feel relaxed with its constant buzz. 2.BSA is noticeably more comfortable , you can buy new 2024 touring seat from Royal enfield which is a god send with riding gear on, but then as standard BSA is noticeably comfortable. 3.Yes you did not miss the sixth gear because virtually interceptor six gear makes 500 rpm difference. 4. Interceptor if ridden with a gentle roll on at 100 km/h has delivered me 28 km/L for the past four years.(can't comment on BSA haven't done a grand tour on it) 5. Quality levels in general are superior on BSA but not consistent. Interceptor it feels like a motorcycle built on a budget unlike the trend smashing super meteor. 6. On the handling front I have to say I find interceptor way better especially with good tires even though BSA is lighter, it has that awkward weight shift (maybe it's just me) 11. Headlights on both the motorcycles suck hard😅, but with BSA and interceptor base variant with halogens, you can change the headlight bulb for your liking (osram night breaker 200 or 220 & Phillips racing GT 200 both 55/60W but put out more lumens due to high pressure gas fill, please don't put LEDs on a halogen reflector setup)

I have an Interceptor and I took a test ride of the BSA Goldstar, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance and braking but I don’t think it’s a threat to the Interceptor, the true competitor will be Bullet 650 when it arrives and the Bullet will own the competition. BSA won’t provide enough service network and accessories support. RE is insanely established.
Just came back from BSA650 test drive albeit a short one. I could do only ride 15 minutes in city and was able to use only upto gear-3. I am a returning biker in early 40s, 5ft6" and 77Kg, and an INT650 owner (Cali Green 2024 model) which will be the reference. Looks are subjective, hence not discussing here. For me both looks equally good. BSA look great from a distance, but smaller compared to IN650. It is light weight, nimble, agile and east to handle in traffic compared to INT650. Can be a good city bike. Seats are good, breaks are very good. Low end torque is very good (very useful n city speeds) Stock seats and tyres are slightly better compared to INT650. That being said, i would rank INT50 better on other aspects . Build quality is normal and not as raved by reviewers. Switch gear, paint quality, side panels, mirrors are all of average quality. To me Triumph Scrambler 400 would be the bench mark for quality at 3 lakh segment. INT650 is slightly below and BSA650 is even lower. I feel INT650 is well put together and can last longer compared to BSA650. BSA engine note is average and commuterish. Twins on INT650 are so much sweeter. Triumph Srambler 400 and Honda CB350 has better notes for singles. Addressing the elephant in the room, the engine which is the soul. INT650 for me any day. Numbers and timings may be similar on paper, but there is no comparison between the feeling generated between the two. Refinement and power delivery are so much better on INT650 and is always a pleasure to drive. BSA has vibrations in lower gears and specially 1. Not sure since when you-tubers started calling vibrations as character. Gear shifts are better in INT650, where i can also easily do rev-matching. This was not the case for BSA650. I have to mention there are couple of mods in my INT650 (touring seats, BMC air filter, iridium spark plugs, silencers upgrade). However this has transformed the INT650 even further, and hence may be my reference point is much higher. All in all a great attempt by BSA, and i wish them good luck. Also i feel the design team at CL is doing a great job with all the bikes in the portfolio. We need good competition for RE to keep them in check and not have monopoly.
The BSA transmits more heat because it's making as much power with just one LC cylinder, as the RE makes with two air-cooled ones. The latter's fins also provide a larger cooling surface.
Today i took test drive of BSA GS it is crazy bike, I felt so much comfort and stability compare to interceptor or GT, i think only SM650 makes things more complicated otherwise i Definity choose BSA over Interceptor.

I don't need a motorcycle at all but I was still looking forward to buying it. However tubed tyres and 5 gears have made me change my mind. No matter how tall the 5th gear is, you need a 6th gear at speeds over 80 And you definitely need tubeless tyres. Why can't they offer tubeless tyres With spokes, like other manufacturers?
People with short height and also those who find the Int shocks horrible go for TEC lowering shocks. You pay a premium for it but Int will be a couple of inches lower and your spine will thank you. BSA looks interesting but Interceptor too has vibrations above 100. It's tiring on long rides.
Are you sure about this bro? My one year old Interceptor has extremely less vibrations. I have attained a top speed of > 150KMPH with barely any vibes creeping in. Something must be wrong with the motorcycle you own. In fact I always criticize my bike for everything except the engine so I am not a fan boy or anything. Just surprised that you pointed out this flaw. You are right about the suspension too. Definitely need an upgrade.
The distance between footpeg and engine looks comfortable on bsa and also the exhaust seems to better placed , I have always worried somebody will graze my exhaust on the interceptor especially in traffic.
BSA ❤❤ 650 looks premium.... But my issue or concern is.... Which is the best 650..bcz one is a single cylinder and the other one is a double cylinder..means better beautiful sound....... What do u think regarding that ????
The editor should've made the intro longer. You can't just start off with a beautiful peaceful ride and just transition into the regular review. Let it flow a bit. That transition was very jarring and ruined the intro which seemed so beautiful.
Chassis design: BSA ✅ Engine: RE ✅ (Parallel twin just takes the cake here) Speedometer pods: RE ✅ (Don't like the 3-pod design of BSA) other than that, the 2 bikes are just identical to each other.
Bsa gold star is very practical bike for everyday use becoz of single cylinder engine, but royal Enfield 650 is a bike for weekend rides, it's very difficult for everyday use..
I owned both the 650 giants. I've seen and read many reviews and comparisons between the two. I can see that some reviews are done just after riding for an hour or less maybe. I find it irritating that just for the sake of having a content, sime darw to post a review they know so little about. I have my own ideas about both the bikes because I have gone riding for more than 5000kms around the NE Indian states with eirher one of them. Maybe someday I will make a video or two regarding the two 650 giants. I am so proyd of the two because both are Indian products and they are compatible to other advanced Bike companies.
I m a interceptor owner and without riding BSA i can say interceptor is any day better than BSA. BSA only can excel in ergonomics.. thats all.. on interceptor that can be sorted out..
Led lights i found are mostly inferior to halogen lights, even in this comparison i found bsa to be more authentic compared to int650.. The RE is fading it's charm and machoness
Interceptor is needing an overhaul update. Better suspension is long overdue. But that twin engine is a gem.

Love that super low tail light in the BSA. But a twin is a twin.
Low end torque is very good (very useful n city speeds)
Stock seats and tyres are slightly better compared to INT650.
I need bsa 650 body with RE 650 engine
The BSA transmits more heat because it's making as much power with just one LC cylinder, as the RE makes with two air-cooled ones. The latter's fins also provide a larger cooling surface.
What with the overuse of 3d transition effect! Trigger for a headache.
Nevertheless, great comparison and so real, loved it!
Waiting for the RE classic 650, then will decide, till then will admire the BSA
Today i took test drive of BSA GS it is crazy bike, I felt so much comfort and stability compare to interceptor or GT, i think only SM650 makes things more complicated otherwise i Definity choose BSA over Interceptor.
BSA GOLD STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SUPER STAR ❤❤
while it's a justified and expected comparison...but it looks like your Video editor has fallen in love with that 3d transition effect... I lost count of the visual repetition of that....
Very hard to unsee once you notice it 😅
@@jebbymr myself being a vlogger and into video editing professionally, it just got my attention immediately, before the actual comparison and the video...😜....so just casually mentioned it
The BSA 650 suits me the best
I am waiting for the classic 650
Royal Enfield interceptor 650 need a massive update ASAP
I don't need a motorcycle at all but I was still looking forward to buying it. However tubed tyres and 5 gears have made me change my mind. No matter how tall the 5th gear is, you need a 6th gear at speeds over 80 And you definitely need tubeless tyres.
Why can't they offer tubeless tyres With spokes, like other manufacturers?
Maine ye dono chalai hain Interceptor overl all jaada better bike hai... But Bsa goldstar ka seating position jaada comfortable hai 🎉
Interceptor is timeless... I can't say the same for BSA!
Oasis v Blur in the 90's. Beetles long gone by then (thankfully)
BSA Goldstar 650 with Interceptor 650 Engine
The interceptor's engine itself tips the scales in RE favour...
It's a twin cylinder and that exhaust note...i will choose the RE any given day...
The distance between footpeg and engine looks comfortable on bsa and also the exhaust seems to better placed , I have always worried somebody will graze my exhaust on the interceptor especially in traffic.
BSA 650 is a better handling bike than 650...i own both...
Quality of service for BSA is the concern...
No one talking about interceptor
Clutch,break levers they r ugly
Old levers looks perfect ❤
The bsa has spoke tubeless tyres right!? So puncture will not be a problem !? Isn’t it
😂 Miss those old days when Adil and Aspi used to give some brutal reviews about bikes. Now it's like all bikes are good. Lets wait and see.
Someone named WHEELS ESCORT already uploaded it 😂
Bsa the most expensive single 650 cc and interceptor cheapest 650 twin big difference in brand positioning ❤❤❤
Twins! anyday Twins but BSA gold star has package for a different style riders so cant say much.
alloy on BSA would have been better and 6 speed TOO
Alloys yes, sixth gear maybe not that much
For me the biggest issue of the interceptor is it's heats up too much in city even the pillon can feel the heat
Death of Royal Enfield era 😂 end of days have come for Royal Enfield
I agree with BSA ❤👍
Bullet 500cc ❤
Goldstar is all over better than Interceptor except the engine number everything is better in BSA
BSA,the looks...❤❤❤❤❤
BSA ❤❤ 650 looks premium.... But my issue or concern is.... Which is the best 650..bcz one is a single cylinder and the other one is a double cylinder..means better beautiful sound....... What do u think regarding that ????
Would you prefer sound or better practical ride experience on a daily basis
int 650 twin much better .
Interceptor engine is any day better than bsa
Nope
Bhai pehle test ride toh karlo yaar...
@@SagarKothurwar BSA IS BEST
@@dolphinautomationtechnolog2296 good if it is yaar... 😊😊
Engine of BSA ❤❤ is far better from interceptor
The goldstar just needs alloys and full digital console and it will be unbeatable. Spoke wheels in 2024 will not find many takers.
If the bsa any good classic 350 is god tier❤ period
Classic 350 is God Tier for sure, this comes very close. Let's see if the Classic 650 is more like it's smaller sibling or like the BSA
The editor should've made the intro longer. You can't just start off with a beautiful peaceful ride and just transition into the regular review. Let it flow a bit. That transition was very jarring and ruined the intro which seemed so beautiful.
3:13 who would ride in the city “all day long”? Quick commerce folks?
Do a push up each time he says "IN THAT SENSE".
2 cylinders are always better than one!
Heart of the bike matters.
Should we think of Shotgun 650 vs BSA 652. Can you please put your thoughts on it.
Chassis design: BSA ✅
Engine: RE ✅ (Parallel twin just takes the cake here)
Speedometer pods: RE ✅ (Don't like the 3-pod design of BSA)
other than that, the 2 bikes are just identical to each other.
Oasis kidhar , Beatles kidhar !
Should have compared Beatles and rolling stones 😂
When will you guys Bring out a daytona review? Would love to hear what you guys have to say about the new sports tourer.
The media unit isn't available yet. So once we do, the review shall follow soon.
@@ackodrive good to know👍🏻
Bsa gold star is very practical bike for everyday use becoz of single cylinder engine, but royal Enfield 650 is a bike for weekend rides, it's very difficult for everyday use..
Oasis vs blur is more appropriate
Sir ur WITHOUT riding review is grt 😂
Led lights i found are mostly inferior to halogen lights, even in this comparison i found bsa to be more authentic compared to int650..
The RE is fading it's charm and machoness
Twins are dime a dozen but there is just one Single 650 (Pun intended).
GoldStar ❤
BSA⭐️❤️
Indian bikes should start giving tubeless tyres with spoke wheels..it's 2024,c'mon
Welcome to Mahindra Motorcycles and Eicher Motorcycles to change the whole world of Motorcycling.
Lol 🥱
Its single cylinder = end of discussion
What about ground clearance ? How significant is the difference, if there's any ?
The Interceptor certainly has more clearance but we never found the Gold Star to scrub is belly
I can never buy the INT 650 because of the position of the foot pegs.
Think you can change them
When will acko drive start selling bikes
Without late pls Bataiye kisme Vibrations zyada hai ??
Gold Star vibes are felt but not harsh and Interceptor is smooth more or less
The real classic bike is BSA gold star .
Jahan also followed Arun to Acko???
Too competitive… both motorcycles not too great nor not too low…. Individual riders choice where their heart goes for…
Re is legend
So My Tata Punch is more fuel efficient than these two 😅😊
Bro ur dumb or what
Comparing bikes with cars wtf man
The video would have been lit if it had a lot more of those jarring transitions between each shot. /s
Will pass on the message to the editors
Classic Legends are struggling with overheating engine, less durability, expensive bad service and less value for money. 😂
Bsa just needs tubeless tyre. And its done.
