    Happy 2025 Rumer 🥳💐🥳☕️
    eta: watching to the end, and I agree about doing the year ahead spread is an energy feel. rather than a specific, xyz is gonna happen.
    for the past 2 yrs I have done year aheads, I do the quarters. So winter solstice and the equinoxes, with the Weavers oracle for those and a tarot card as medicine?? dunno. the last 2 quarter readings of 2024 made sense in reflection. However I still haven't drawn any cards as yet... I have some clear life focuses this year, so I may read on those. maybe not.
    Also social media breaks I think are really necessary for all of us. none of us are machines and it is good to replenish ourselves in our real world lives, away from abstract online viewers. enjoy down time winter in the UK, where it is slow and grey. I am appreciating that it isnt pitch black at 4pm anymore.

      Happy 2025 to you, too! 🎉 Thank you so much for the kind and validating words--the recharge was definitely needed, and I hope you're likewise enjoying the UK winter hibernation. 😴 I've come to appreciate this time of year so much more because of just that...and yet, yes, thank GAWD we've turned the corner on those 4pm sunsets! 🙌🌞
      I *love* the sound of your quarterly year-ahead spread and think I'm going to shamelessly copy you! Stepping it down even further from 8 to 4 checkpoints feels right, and using oracle, then tarot as medicine is brilliant. Thank you for this idea, as well as watching and sharing your thoughts with me! 🥰

      @RumerHaven copy away!
      Quarterly, I leave the cards on display, and when they catch my eye, I check in with myself. Is there anything that speaks to these proposed energies? if so, how do I want to flow with it? I may journal about it, I may not. Any card pulls I do throughout those 12 weeks, I might reference the Quarter's oracle themes or the tarot's medicine, or I may not.
      It is quite gentle, and I think it allows my perception of my life to unfold instead of anxiously trying to get in front of it.
      And 4 check points is way easier than 8!! lol.

      @@Jo_-_-t.a "It allows my perception of my life to unfold instead of anxiously trying to get in front of it"...aaaahhh, this!! Your practice sounds nothing but beautiful, gentle indeed, and I think that's where the true flow happens, the most meaningful and clear readings. As well as scrapping the traditional year-ahead spread, I just decided today that I'm not going to undertake any structured annual studies like I've done the last couple of years--not that those boxed me in a great deal, but it was still following a schedule rather than my natural rhythm, so I'm excited about the prospect of this loose-y goose-y year. ☺ Hope the gentle ebb and flow of your own check-ins and card pulls brings nothing but truth and peace of mind to you this year. 💚
