Aw, a bedtime story! I actually thought of you and your amazing flute skillz as I added the medieval music. 😊 Thank you so, so much for watching, Lisa! 🥰
Hi Rumer. You are the first person who introduced me to using bibliomancy with a children’s book story and doing a tarot spread. I have been doing that ever since. And I’m loving it! I too have been intending to do the hollow quest. I bought the deck a year ago along with 2 of the books that were written by Caitlin and John Matthews, but I have not started it yet. So I loved That you used this deck today. Regarding the stone queen and the chessboard. I actually like that they associated it with the pentacles suit and where the guidebook says “the chessboard represents the land itself“. Since the ultimate goal of chess is to capture the queen, I think it was perfect that they associated the chessboard with the land that she surveys and protects. I hope you continue this series. It’s one of my favorites!
I'm so flattered that you like this series and am glad I picked that deck now, too! Very cool to know you're also looking to embark on the Hallowquest. 💚 I must give due credit to Kelly Fitzgerald at her Truth in Story channel for giving me the initial biblio/cartomancy idea--I saw her do something similar with Aesop's Fables and the John Bauer Tarot a few years ago and was so enchanted and wanted to try it with different themes as a chance to play with different decks and books. ☺ In any case, THANK YOU for that explanation of the Queen of Stones. I genuinely have no clue about chess so would have never made that connection, but it fits so perfectly, as you said! Thank you, Megan, for sharing that and watching in the first place! I'm excited you like the series, as I do plan to continue it. 🥰
`Watching this right before bed - and it was so lovely!
