    Glad to see another Asian brother on the Silverado side. My family been buying Chevy trucks here in Northern California since World War 2. They were born in Stockton CA and became huge farmers. Guess it runs in my veins. But yeah man, don’t know how I ended up on your video. It’s exactly what I been looking for. Had this same exact suspension idea in my head, and you’ve convinced me to do the same with mine. I don’t think you mentioned your suspension set up, but I was just going with the Eibach front adjustable shocks and stock coil overs but to fit 20x10 33’s though. I just wanted to level that front rake and hoped just the front shocks replaced would help. Didn’t need the stiffer coil over springs because I wasn’t planning on taking it off-road. I live in the valley and rarely see dirt or snow. How’s your current ride now? You just got another subscriber btw. 👍🏼

      I just have a basic or budget 2” lower strut spacer and haven’t had any wearing issues quite yet! I would say that the ride is like stock but the rougher ride is definitely from the mud terrain in my case!
      As always, Welcome to the channel! I am in the process of doing an exhaust and a follow up video but my work schedule has been hectic!

    I want the exact same setup basically. Not sure if I want to go down to 18s or not tho, the stock 20s do look pretty good. Definitely getting the Mavericks though and a 33x12.5

      I had a free set and decided to use the 18’s. 20’s would look amazing though. I also have a new suspension setup btw. Stay tuned!

    Okay so how much do they rub? I really want 18x9 wheels but I can’t find any good looking ones but yours look good. What tires are they and the specs?

    • @KennysLyfe
      @KennysLyfe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are 33x12.50R18 Yokohama Geolandar Mud Terrains. A similar tread design to the Toyo Open Country MT’s but a much more aggressive sidewall and a bit more affordable. Rubbing is not bad! I also will be having a ~ 6 month lift update video showing the overall stance/fitment and hopefully exhaust video this weekend.
      Stay tuned, hope that helps!

    I bought the ruff country 2in front level kit that goes on the bottom of the strut. Think ill be able to do 275-60r20 without issues?

    • @KennysLyfe
      @KennysLyfe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I currently have 33x12.50R18 but they’re nearly 13” wide. I don’t have any issues besides minor rubbing when you drive on certain angles.
      Best of Luck!

    I put some 33-12.50-22 ridge grappers on a 17 silverado oem wheels with 2” level kit they rub a lil bit on the upper control arms only went i do full turn.

    • @KennysLyfe
      @KennysLyfe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The positive offset may cause some rubbing if you have a 12.50 wide. On Tacomas, I’ve seen people trim a part of their UCA’s or get a spacer. Depending on where you drive,How often would you say that you would have to do a full turn?

    Did u have any problems with Tacoma being 12mm lug strud And Chevy 14mm??

    • @KennysLyfe
      @KennysLyfe  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had to get new lug nuts for the Silverado but the wheels were just fine. This especially when I added the hub rings - in fact I still have the same ones until this day!

    Those stock tires are garbage 21k on my 2015 and they were 3/4 of the way done. 2.5 inch kit in the front 3” inch blocks in the rear (I tow a big salmon boat) so I wanted the factory looking rake that leveled when towing. 33x12.5r20 radar renegade r/t with -19 offset wheels. Defiantly not leveled my friend

    • @KennysLyfe
      @KennysLyfe  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kyle! It’s definitely a more conservative kit. So only the rake from the body seems more level, but the clearance itself won’t be as much. However I’m actually going to be doing a slightly different set up later next month. Let me know how you think it looks around then. I think you’ll like it - Cheers!
