What gives you hope?
As Catholics, our hope comes from Christ’s resurrection and placing our trust in God’s promises. Yet, there are so many people in the world today who do not know the love of God.
The Lord sends us forth to spread his Gospel and share his love. The Apostle John explains in Scripture, “We love because He first loved us” (1 Jn 4:19).
When we do this, that love not only transforms and brings hope to the world around us, but it also transforms and changes us.
As the fastest growing state in the nation, many are coming to Idaho seeking a better future for themselves and their families. Through your support of the Idaho Catholic Appeal, you witness the love of God to others and provide A Future Full of Hope.
-You assist the poor, the needy and the most vulnerable in our communities.
-You prepare seminarians and deacon candidates to serve as our faith leaders.
-You care for our active and retired priests.
-You provide leadership formation, guidance, and resources to our parishes and Catholic schools.
-You strengthen families and marriages.
As we begin the 2023 ICA, I ask you to prayerfully consider how you are called to provide hope by making a generous financial gift to this year’s appeal www.catholicidaho.org/ica. Ask yourself, “How can I repay the Lord for all the great good done for me?” (Ps 116:12). Your sacrificial giving, no matter how modest, shares the love of Christ and provides A Future Full of Hope for our parishes, our communities, and our Idaho Church.
