I bought 3 of the 48s 1p modules from batteryhookup, I live 40 min away and have a flatbed so its even cheaper than 100.00kwh when you buy a few and do local pickup. Now I have 2500ah at 51.2v
The difference between the LEV60f cells and the lifepo cells at battery hook up is that the LEV60F cells cycle life is 1500. Compared to 5000 for the battery hook up cells . Both work well for storage but the cycle life is way higher for the battery hook up cells . For power its definitely the LEV60F cells.
Not exactly. The manufacturer spec sheet shows 1500 cycles based on their use as power cells, but most stationary storage use will not run these at high power so these power cells won't even heat up under moderate loads. So when not under extreme loads the LEV60s can actually last much longer than 1500 cycles, likely closer to 4000-5000 cycles.
Not according to the data sheet of the LEV60F. It’s testing cycles . It’s true that if you use a battery lightly it last longer. Maybe under light use you will get 3000 cycles out of the LEV60F cells which is double. The battery hook up eve cells data sheet actually states 8000 cycles . I think Jehu should clear things up and include cycle life in the price equation since this is very important. For my application which is storage I ended up ordering the EVE 3.2v 280ah LF280K V3 Lifepo4 Prismatic rated at 8000 cycle life. I bought 24v kit LEV60F from Jehu for my power hungry trolling motor. Jehu if you reading this please include cycle life into pricing .
You didn’t compare your lev offerings to BHU tho. I was waiting for that one. You have the same price as BHU on the lev60 but they beat you on the shipping.
It is weird that people compare you to Will Prowse. He actually provides a lot more information and better instructions. He isn't just pitching all of the time.
Your LEV60 is $39.01, Battery Hookup the LEV60F is $29.99 that's $9.02 cheaper. I also look up the LEV60 and their cycle life is around 1500. The eve battery's have 4000-8000 cycles and on 18650batterystore there $45 and more capacity, Thats a better bang for your buck you think?
In regards to the cycle life, it’s true that the LEV60’s are a little older versions, HOWEVER, the 1500 cycles is for the rated specs - which is over 2C constant discharge, 180 amps. If you discharge at similar amperage’s to the EVE and CALB cells, 1C, you can expect to get more cycles. We don’t know how much better, but I believe they’ll experience calendar aging at that point. But the LEV60’s are still power cells, high amperage. They will handle 600 amp peaks.
can you do a bundle with four get a bluetooth bms? just an idea to add value? great breakdowns man tysm as always for your content and straight shooting! we need more real ppl like you, with other youtubers in white labcoats doing infomercials for amazon and renogy roping in the noobs thinking they're getting a little two foot box that can run their whole house smh 🤦

Why are the LEV60 cells listed as 3.5V max voltage? It makes no sense that the voltage would be lower from a modified chemistry, usually there is a small increase in max V from less anode stripping at voltage. So are the LEV60's normal lifepo4 cells with 3.65V max?
I have 16 of the top band 25ah in my mountain board 😁 great cells. 180a output 🤯 been going strong, all year riding in Buffalo NY. Some days with 2+ft of snow. I got them for very cheap on ebay. Oh, i bought them in a pre built 48v battery for $250. Then disassembled and added smart bms. I also got 2 14s batteries from jag35 that have been perfect 😁 one of those 14s8p Samsung modules. Been out of stock for long time and a 14s boston swing module. That has been great in my scooter 😁 love the videos. You have always got great deals. I have stayed away from those lev cells because of size and $ but they would be great for my backup power supply at home 😉 maybe some day... Just a 24v system but i do have a 48v converter (that is what i have been using the Samsung module for in emergencies) thanks again and keep the great deals coming 😁 you always pass off the decent deals you get and i always suggest for people to check out your site when looking 😁
I got Branded A grade Eve lf280k v3 cells with 310+ah for 1300 dollars, so 16kwh. 80 dollars per kwh roughly, and they are more capacity then your cells so that means less costs for bms, battery box etc. There are enough reputable Chinese sellers.
Aliexpress just had a massive sale idk what happened or if they will even ship the cells i just bought 16 x 320AH cells for 255$ .........now theyre selling again between 2700 and 3200$ im praying they ship them and its not a picture or a playdpugh statue of them lol please 🙏
I RLY wanted to buy/build a 48v battery using your lev60 cells.....but after seeing it took $100+ to ship it. That was the deal breaker. I shopped around for 3-4 months and finally settled on a 48v 50ah lifepo4 battery, in a metal case, with a bms, for $410 shipped..:o Amazon had a coupon on the battery for $150 off btw. Someday I will be able to afford nicer stuff, but right now, I think amazon/ebay free shipping is a big deal for some people. My battery weighed 48lbs. Times are tough for everyone :( I still enjoy watching your videos, and hope to purchase from you in the future though. :)
Shipping really is the thing that hurts the $/kWh equation for those of us on the East coast vs. the West coast (Jag35 vs. Battery Hookup). Doubly so for me as the Battery Hookup warehouse is just a 2 hour I-76/276 drive for me. DC/Philly/NYC/Pittsburgh/NE corridor high population areas are fairly short drives to the Battery Hookup warehouse if you want to provide your own transportation.
So you get the education and value from him and then spend your money with Jeff Bezos on some cheap cells made with slave labor in a hostile country. Cool dude.
Prices dropped a lot the last 12 months here in the Netherlands. New Eve 280k A cells are locally 114 euro/kW including shipping and it was around 170 eu/kW earlier this year. Don't know why it's happening but I like it. 🙂

Dam that would be one big boom lol
Thank you for the battery hookup advert. Now am heading to their joint to see more deals and alibaba
Good info! When you offer a trade in program so I can offload these headways and glowe voltage cells I can buy some lev60s!!!!!!
Hope you lower the prices on the 2170 cells for Black Friday 👍🏻
Hello. Thanks for the info. ¿ Can my 390amp car alternator charge 8 of the LEV60F while running ? Or I need a separate charger.
That would require a DC to DC charger
Do you sell a 21700 lithium battery pcb? I would buy it immediately..
I'm pushing my car audio brothers to go with your square cells you are selling. And I plan on upgrading to them also.

When are y'all gonna franchise to a city near me?
You didn’t compare your lev offerings to BHU tho. I was waiting for that one. You have the same price as BHU on the lev60 but they beat you on the shipping.
🤔Actually it depends on your location. BHU is on the East Coast, JAG35 is on the West Coast.
what about shipping is that also being included in the cost per KWH.
Shipping is different for every person so it cannot be accurately calculated in the final price of products
How can I buy
Can get shipping Armenia? And prices???
Does anyone know the brand Varicore
33140 cells or 34160 anyone have any info or experience? Thanks
Delivery to Puerto Rico?
JAG35 can ship to PR, but not batteries.
Still Very expensive plus unit battery management system
It is weird that people compare you to Will Prowse. He actually provides a lot more information and better instructions. He isn't just pitching all of the time.
Yup I design and build stuff, he just explains user manuals.
Why not a deal on 3 6 pack of the batteries instead of 16 pack?
Never hurts to have 2 extra batteries?
Can't get shipping info to Maryland wanted see how much thats going be for pallet will check out the other 6pack from your site
Could you please find a way so that I could see only what is in stock?
Great idea!.. it's a bummer to look at old the information.. maybe Ju' needs a better way to track his inventory
5 cells 12v_16v bus

Nice but the shipping is a killer and so is the DUTY... yeah I am in Canada and the exchange rate.. NOT Cheap.
Then this really isn't for you
Love from India 🇮🇳

You do realize that freebies are always built in to the price right? Companies don't give anything away.

Sadly jag35 does not have local pick up!! I could save some money by picking up my batteries!!
I don't see the charge and high discharge cycle of the battery you provided. Thank you
So you get the education and value from him and then spend your money with Jeff Bezos on some cheap cells made with slave labor in a hostile country. Cool dude.
Lots of customers pickup their orders. Not entirely sure how that’s setup by my team but they do it regularly
Thx for an expanded' explanation/ comparison w yur competitors...i think you were fair and not too' self promoting.
