Absolutely beautiful build, I had to purchase a Fox FIT 32 Kashima from 2014 with a straight steering tube for my 09 Yeti 575 since I couldn't find anything newer, great to see Fox is still providing for those awesome retro builds, keep 'em coming!
Where are people getting these new stock straight steer tube forks. There are so many worthy older bikes that are only limited by the fact that there are no high end replacement forks with straight steer tubes. That must have been a unicorn. Nice bike!!
The fork is totally stock, from Fox, they offer the 36 in a short travel version with straight steerer for bikes like this. I think they are the only brand doing it, but it was perfect choice for this bike. I had to wait a long time for them!

Why no clutch derallieur
I wanted short cage and its a 10sp set up, no need for a big 11sp range on a bike like this, so the road mech is perfect.

It was quite common in the day to use a road derailleur. Easily sourced over a short cage MTB derailleur, as most shops would have them in stock.

yes, pretty much a wall hanger for our showroom, but it does get to play out at pump tracks and BMX tracks, never dropped a chain yet.
