Hi sir I love your video so much im your fan in Philippines I always watch your video please give me a bike because my birthday is coming in October and thank you in advance
Hi sir, Im new to your channel but Ive already watched a ton of your videos. I loved them a lot and they also make my day. I was wondering if you could do a video about a Monstercross build, Im looking to convert my MTB into one and Im sure it would be really helpful and interesting to see one. Godbless and thank you!
I can't say how much I love these retro builds.. I know they take time but they're amazing and seeing that someone cares about the products and scene I idolized growing up means a lot. I once corresponded with the owner of Cook Bros as a kid and he sent a box of swag I wish I still had.. Cheers from America.
great content! it is so nice to see also this king of videos. building new bikes is of course great, but this (and maintenance of EVIL bike) is great too! I also like the sound mix of latest videos - lot of "workshop noise" and subtle music makes these videos not only visually interesting, but they are literally a sort of meditation. at least I can watch these videos and relax no matter what is going on around me. great work!
i had a bike like this. okay it was a cheap version MTB but looked like this. i really loved it. im so mad i destoryed so many bikes when i was young but we didnt had money for better bikes and i always ride them in mountains in forest etc. :D
A brilliant original, to period restoration , i forgot about cook brothers , & fantastic dream build, if it was me , I'd go Chris king & xtr everything within period of course, when you know , you dream & know, but that sprocket , phew nightmare today , and yes everything else loud & proud , thanks for showing us all our dream builds
A set of Paul Components Cross-Stop 2's in blue would be an awesome set of brakes for that build. I have a set of black and a silver, that cost me $100 each back in 1995
excellent video I admire you a lot, I just assembled my bike in the gee Milner style and it did not turn out very well, let's say you do a spectacular job, greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽👏🏿☝🏿👌🏿🤤
i hope that the doors and windows are open and you got a fan running... cuz the amount of aerosol cleaners you use is astounding, i really hope youre not breathing that all in... i have an ultrasonic cleaner and it takes care of those drivetrain parts like a dream!
Awesome build! Be nice to see you guys do a vintage/retro DH bike in future, something with monster ts or a huck machine! I just bought a 2001 kona stinky primo that i’m going to tear down and build back up
Really should avoid twisting the seat post when inserting it to prevent scratches. Just like a car's finish, you should always rinse down the bike before scrubbing it to remove any particles that can scratch the finish.
very nice video, but I don't quite understand the use of the ST-M900 (missing the dust covers btw) but no RD-M900 or FD-M900. Also, get an ultrasonic cleaner for cassette and chain, I can highly recommend it! thumbs up
wonderful bike and video...revives so many teen days wishes...one question, is the front ringle hub anodizing spotted on purpose - or is that the anodizing ageing off?
I'm wondering if Frank the Welder worked at Yeti in 1995? I know he was there around the early 90s but not sure if he was still there in 95. This may have been one of his? Beautiful bike.
This is my bike and yes, this has been discussed before we realised the history of the bike. So this is staying like this, and i will hunt for another one to build and ride.

And not to mention it is not easy to find those old XTR/XT parts in such a mint condition.
Great build, can’t stop thinking how great it would look with those blue Paul derailleurs
Loving the light patina on the components and frame!!!
It's impressive that this young mechanic dude even knows how all this stuff works.
Finally another vintage build!
Did you enjoy it?

Back to my youth, even with the green Michelin tyres. Can't beat 26inch wheels. Absolutely stunning.

When you realise that even this old bike is way far more better than your new bike . ☹
the amount of brake cleaner you use to clean stuff, I may suggest getting a supersonic cleaner for small parts, way more effective
And less environmentally challenging as well.
i love your videos my stress reliever, greetinhs from the philippines ☺️
I was born in 95, best year for sure ;)
'94 for me
Beautiful retro build. I have a Cannondale M900 with a R. S. Judy carbon fork. You inspired me to refurbish it. Thanks ! 👏👏👏
