Awesome video thanks for showing us these tips much appreciated !! I just purchased a new 12 square end birch.. I've been wanting for a long time and totally like it. Keep up the great vids ,,all the best ...Dave
Depending where you are it may be better to get it from a local dealer than the manufacturer however if that's not gonna work Baywood Enterprises can get a liner to you.
Hey Dave, could you possibly point me in the right direction for replacement ribs for my newly acquired Radisson canoe? I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
@@GettenanyOutdoorsSportspal Lightning response!! Thanks Dave. I will contact them today. Love your videos and all the great information. Tight lines my friend.
Do you have any more exacting information regarding the type of foam used for the liner? I spoke with Donna but shipping to western Canada is over $400 for the replacement - I found a supplier that has closed cell 2lb Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam (XLPE) in 1/2 thick x 60” wide. Just wanting to match what comes in the canoe as closely as possible.
I'm in the same situation with my 14' SportsPal. Was the 2lb Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam (XLPE) in 1/2 thick x 60” wide the correct foam for the boat? Can you provide a link or name from where it can be purchased? Thank you.
They are cut to length only as the canoes are hand formed and will have slight differences in width so the best way to ensure the liner fits snug is what you see here. Would be nice if they could be pre cut all around.
I just bought a 50 year old 14 ft. Sportspal your videos are a great help, as I will be refurbishing it this winter.
Awesome the old ones are my favorites.
Glad these help and good luck

It sounds like you have it right on. My only question would be uv resistance. If it's not exposed to the sun beyond regular use, you should be fine.

@@TC-hl1wsare you in Alberta/Saskatchewan or B.C.? I purchased mine from sureline foam products. Foam price was about $200 for a 14’ 6” sheet.
Would you be able to do a video of putting the ribs back in? That’s the part I’m most nervous about!

Thank you!
👍
What are the dimensions of the foam? Thickness? Will Home Depot foam work or is it special?
It's a closed cell foam if you can find some. 5' wide is what you want long as you need
Do you guys sell pre cut liners?

Do you know what the density and thickness of the foam is? I have a local source, which could be much cheaper that the manufacturer.
Not sure of density but it is about 1/2" thick
