Yup. For a “professional” comedian (lol k) he has a terrible sense of humour. I’ve seen Shane Gillis on rogan too many times now having to literally explain the joke to Joe. And then Joe laughs. Joe is as much of a sycophant to real comedians as Brendan Schaub but everyone in his orbit is too afraid to say it. he’s the golden goose.

Joes starting to get repetitive and I've recently been watching many other podcasts (gillis, bad friends, theos) cause joes getting boring

He's done the same thing Bert's describing to Theo before, feigning confusion at an obvious joke. He eventually figured it out but on Theo's 1st appearance Joe had nothing to offer but "Huh?" "Are you serious?" "That's not true."

Joe isn't exactly a master of comedy or identifying it for that matter. Watching his podcast with Theo and every single joke he's taking seriously until it dawns on him that he's actually conversing with another comedian is more cringe than anything
Jokes go over rogans head, but also he gets super sensitive about things he cares about, ufc, and fucking weed especially. Can’t make even the smallest criticism towards pot without triggering the guy.
Joe is a comedian but you have to remember that humor is fluid. Not everyone jives with everybody else's humor, and there's a time and place for everything. I think Rogan likes "deep" and serious stuff on most of his 1 on 1 pods and reserves the multi gatherings for jokes. That's not to say jokes don't happen in 1 on 1s tho.
And the guy that would lose a fight within 3 seconds to anybody that has ever known anybody that's even been a professional fighter let alone in the UFC would destroy this dude in a minute and he think it's funny to make fun of them and call them gay. I have no idea how this guy actually can sell tickets but I need to start playing outlive again myself with music which is much better than any of his jokes

When Joe finds something funny then he laughs pretty hard but if its not funny then he's not going to pretend it is like a lot of these guys do.
