I honestly think that the trailer was good. I didn't got any "villain" vibes from the animation, but it felt like he was trying to revive her, but he couldn't. That's why he said "Not yet" with a sad tone. The sorry at the end makes sense too, since he is using the weapon Shadya told him not to.
It's so much simpler than whatever people are theorizing. She could've just killed the warlords if those were her priorities, but she probably valued life over everything (something sentinels would do)

After all, the whole reason the Sentinels exist is because someone tried to cheat death. Shadya also wouldn’t have wanted Akshan to be consumed by anger and vengeance. That’s why Akshan said “I knew you had a different plan for me, but I choose vengeance.”
Say the time frame is a year and the "recent victims" limit is three. A gets killed by B who then gets killed by C who then dies because of blood loss because A shot a major artery. If Akshan kills B, A gets revived. If Akshan kills A, C gets revived. If Akshan kills C, B gets revived. ffs this reminds of those annoying math problems where someone buys a buttload of watermelon.
What if one person kills a mass amount of people? Say an explosive wipes out a part of Noxus. Does killing that one person basically equate to summoning Shenron?

Here I am spending dozens of hours meticulously crafting an entire world with a Millenium of history for my players when I could just used runeterra lol. For reference we all play league and 4 of us are even on an esports team for our school. Missed opportunity

I love how you incorporate other stories within these lore videos, that that bit about Zed. It’s really cool and it reminds people of what’s happening with other champions.

And that's why you should never introduce time travel and ressurection items on any kind of story, unless you've specificaly explained it's repercussions before. Like with Zelda they have like 3 or 4 timelines from the old games that all converge into breath of the wild which then creates another timeline in it's prequel, age of calamity. Now we have league with both time travel and messing with the what could be considered ressurection, this one being a big plot point of the ruination, i just hope Riot knows what they are doing and dont mess it up to much.

@@Krag_LeeS If they go for the multiple timelines or universes, kinda like how they did with endgame, it's ok since in theory a small change in the past could make a big impact in the future but changing something also creates a diverging path where the original timeline goes the same but the other doesnt, either way time travel is way to complicated to do well and authors should stay away from it.

That's still infinitely better and far more cheap than "This king took his army across distant lands to a sacred pool in an attempt at resurrection but the act of defying death fucked everything up". But in this same world, a gun can do it. It's inconsistent world building.
I feel like Akshan's ability to revive the dead by killing their murderer is too forced to be a regular idea. I think riot just made him up as an excuse to revive a certain character from the lore.
I hope that Akshan is often sarcastic in his voice lines, bcs there are a lot of really stupid ones like the one where he thinks he should add a ladder to his weapon
I think one key thing about Viego and Isolde is that the destruction of the blessed isles (unless i missed something) happened so long ago its but a mere legend. Therefore time itself is enemy to the theory.
My guess that the Absolver is also probably made with a combination of the White stone, that all the sentinel weapons seem to be made of, but also of the Chrono stones that Ekko and Zilean use in their magic and tech. The Grappling hook seems to have a more blueish color then all other sentinel weapons that have marble white. Maybe its the reason why it has the capacity for resurrections magic long after someone has died.
I can just see Viego hearing about this and screaming and rummaging through the mist, yelling "WHERE IS HE!? WHERE IS THAT PIECE A SHIT!?" the figuring out that he's in Tresh's Lantern Viego turning to him and shouting "YOU"
I think it seems more like he CAN'T revive her yet, as in he hasn't found the warlord who killed her. It would be interesting though if he killed the right warlord, but because the warlord has killed so many people shadya isn't considered the most recent victim and isn't revived, that would be a really sad ending, but an interesting one nonetheless.
Wow his lore explains his gameplay in LoR because there he summons a Warlord's Palace and after it finishes countdown you get a relic of power as if it's a mini quest for Akshan to find this relic of power in the shortest amount of time hence Akshan reduces the countdown whenever he strikes or when you target allies thus making it getting through the Palace faster, then on his level up- which is when the Palace finishes counting down -Akshan summons a Warlord's Hoard which is also similar to the Palace however here after the countdown you get Sentinal's Hoard which gives you a massive swing in the game. So all of this wouldn't make sense from his LoL counterpart but it does based on his lore of him infiltrating the Palace and returning those Sentinal stuff that got stolen.

Dude this weapon seems like it's actually terrifying, imagine a guy killed someone two months ago, he is now caught robbing a bank and is shot by the absolver, is that person who died now buried alive? Is there a time limit for the absolver to function? Regardless of when the killer's most recent victim died?
So, heres what I think will happen, Akshan is going to start fighting the mist at some point and for some reason yet to be discovered he is going to stumble upon that killer, she is going to explain that story (tried to kill Viego, killed Isolde instead) and reveal that she had no other victims killed by her hands since then because she is afraid to cause another major problem in runeterra which would mean that Isolde is still her most recent kill.
i think that riot introduced this reviving plot just to get the sentinels back to life after a cinematic or a story: viego or someone else will kill one or all of senna,lucian,vayne,graves.... for a good cliff hanger, and then akshan will revive them after winning

Fan Theory: Where the Sentinels ancient weapons created by the power of the Sun Disk of Shurima? This makes sense to me, because the weapons have special powers that others don't have. Just like the Acsedent Warriors.
Maybe Akshan shooting the blade of the ruined king is the answer to all of this, since the weapon holds a fragment of the soul of every wielder, destroying the blade could restore Viego without killing Isolde and all of the people taken by the mist. Maybe, if we stretch it enough, Isolde could be brought back, since that assassin could actually be part of the mist and, by extension, of Viego.

Dude this weapon seems like it's actually terrifying, imagine a guy killed someone two months ago, he is now caught robbing a bank and is shot by the absolver, is that person who died now buried alive? Is there a time limit for the absolver to function? Regardless of when the killer's most recent victim died?
So, heres what I think will happen, Akshan is going to start fighting the mist at some point and for some reason yet to be discovered he is going to stumble upon that killer, she is going to explain that story (tried to kill Viego, killed Isolde instead) and reveal that she had no other victims killed by her hands since then because she is afraid to cause another major problem in runeterra which would mean that Isolde is still her most recent kill.
i think that riot introduced this reviving plot just to get the sentinels back to life after a cinematic or a story:
viego or someone else will kill one or all of senna,lucian,vayne,graves.... for a good cliff hanger, and then akshan will revive them after winning
This makes sense I mean senna has to die again for Isolde to be whole same with Gwen they all die and Akshan kills the distraction Viego they all come back happy ending

She will probably be one of 2 people to be revived at the end of this plot point, so we are definetly getting both Isolde and Shadya as champions.

Its not "running out of ideas" they deliberately put characters in the lore in mind for them to become champions years latter. This is happening from the beginning of league

What about this:
- Viego revives the killer;
- Viego kills the killer with that weapon;
- Isolde is resurrected.
Shadya's killer will be a possible character in Legends of Runeterra, a champion in League, or maybe an exclusive champ for Wild Rift. I'm calling it now.

Where the Sentinels ancient weapons created by the power of the Sun Disk of Shurima? This makes sense to me, because the weapons have special powers that others don't have. Just like the Acsedent Warriors.

Maybe Akshan shooting the blade of the ruined king is the answer to all of this, since the weapon holds a fragment of the soul of every wielder, destroying the blade could restore Viego without killing Isolde and all of the people taken by the mist. Maybe, if we stretch it enough, Isolde could be brought back, since that assassin could actually be part of the mist and, by extension, of Viego.

Necrit, I love your lore videos. All of my knowledge of the lore of League of Legends pretty much comes from you and is much appreciated. With all due respect, I am a teacher, and I just want to correct two words you were mispronouncing. The word "urchin" is pronounced with the "ch" sound like in the word "change" or "champion". In the word "determined", the "i" is a short vowel and pronounced like the "e" in men.
Once again, I mean no disrespect. I eagerly await your next amazing video.
