When people feel happy in their lives, they are genuinely happy and greet tourists with a smile. If people in a country feel that there is no future, they will become angry, they will feel that foreigners are taking their jobs, and they will attack those around them who are of a different color or a different race
You are right, China is completely different than Japan in that regard, I'd say they are more similar to Americans, the people are loud and boisterous and more extroverted.
The roses are called bare root bushes here in the States. It is common to buy them that way (so you can inspect the health of the roots, and not just see dirt) but they will generally be packed in damp hay to keep the hairy like roots moist and reduce strain on the plant. Hint on the lavender, if you notice the scent fading, put it in a plastic bag and in the freezer for a couple weeks. Don’t know why this has worked for me and it may not work for anyone else but lavender is worth a try.

@@k.vn.k well, fun fact of the emperor, the emperor cannot have a single dish over 3 bites, because they couldn't let the emperor's preferences be known, otherwise they would risk being poisoned.
I think there are two reasons: first, foreigners may not like some special foods in China. Second, some animals and plants can only grow in China's specific geographical environment, so they are not available in other countries.
@@Chuyu-wx4rh Another reason is it depends which region of Chinese ppl immigrated/emigrated to other countries first. For example, large number of Cantonese ppl went to America first and Cantonese food was very popularized there. In recent years, Sichun style food has been more vibrant in America now.
What people experience as Chinese food in western countries is predominantly Cantonese (as in food from just 1 province). So it’s extremely limiting tbh
