Hey everyone! I'm Albert Boris, and today, we're going to discuss more in-depth about the rumoured Gamecube tracks we might be getting for the DLC of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. For some reason, we still don't have any, which makes this question all the more relevant still! This video can serve as a reference for my general Wave 4-6 prediction video, where I only briefly went over my course predictions.

I think it might be DK mountain honestly because Mario Kart Tour has the two maps. Most of the maps in tour are ported from the 3ds I assume it is the easiest game to port them from because every 3ds retro track is in tour. Dk mountain had to be made from the ground up, I do not think they would do all that work on dk mountain just for it to be in tour.

I know Waluigi Stadium/Wario Coliseum is going to be coming to the game due to having its music leaked a few months back, but it’s more likely to be Waluigi Stadium because of its image being found in a banner leak.

I think if they were to pick between Mushroom Bridge and Mushroom City then I think the latter is more likely because they can use arrow fields to force players onto a different path on each lap, much like they've done for Peach Gardens and Kalamari Desert. It's already such an open course so it would make it more fresh to force each lap to be different
Also we already have two daytime traffic courses, Shroom Ridge’s name even sounds very alike, and Mushroom Bridge actually doesn’t add anything new to the table in terms of theme, as we currently have 3 courses with a large bridge near the ocean
Mushroom City being a nighttime traffic course at least gives it something to add, as none of the nigh city tracks from Tour have moving cars, though I’m not sure if they really have chances, they’re ultimately city tracks, and we’re gonna have plenty of those, and not everything from Tour will come to 8DX, like the other GBA courses, there isn’t enough room for all of them, and DK Mountain and Riverside Park put that to question, as one is kinda redundant with Rock Rock Mountain there, and DK Summit is in the banner leak and is very alike, so it has rather tight competition, and Dino Dino Jungle has competition with Riverside Park, as a variant features dinos, and is much more recent

But if we take it into account, well Toad’s Turnpike is more like Mushroom Bridge and Shroom Ridge, taking place outside a city, not inside like Mushroom City, so if a course has its chances disrupted by TT, that is Moonview Highway, because that takes place in and out of a city, and the exterior even resembles that of TT’s remake, but then again, I don’t think they care so much about that tbh, like it’s really anyone’s guess if they went with DS Mario Circuit, despite we already having a Mario Circuit and another one with a Peach castle, or how we’re getting like 4 or 5 courses with a crystal cave, or how Wave 4 alone has like 7 piranha plant variants xd
8:20 Well that advertisement is made by Tour not by 8dx because we know the 8dx version of Coconut Mall is based on the Tour version, so that Dino Dino Jungle advertisement is referencing the Tour version of Dino Dino Jungle, and when they ported Coconut Mall from Tour to 8dx they ported that advertisement too.
In my opinion, I think the posters in Coconut Mall are incorrect. Those were the same signs in tour and we all know that those same courses or in tour. Both Dino, Dino jungle and vanilla lake are both in Tour, so I think that those posters were just ported over. Nothing to overthink.
Glad someone else thinks like that. I never took it as fact, but Vanilla lake is probably the most likely SNES track unless they bring back a SNES Bowser's Castle.
I was thinking the same too for a while now. Back then to me it made sense but now it really doesn’t. I agree with JS that I think Vanilla Lake will happen but I do feel like DK Mountain is more plausible over Dino Dino Jungle.
I really really hope we won't get Vanilla Lake but instead a SNES Bowser castle, so the GBA slots could be filled with other type of courses
@@Polmo1997 I didn’t really say this on my previous comment but I forgot to mention that we could see something like Koopa Troopa Beach 2 instead.

While it sucks that there's no DD track yet, it is heartwarming to see a lot of fans demand for it cuz it's such a great game
It might be because in the original MK8 DLC they already added 2 DD tracks
@@pixel3042 also people are forgetting that N64 and 3DS tracks are going to be completely snubbed in the second half of the booster course pass anyway, so it’s not like Nintendo “doesn’t care about Double Dash” or anything

And for 3DS, *they could’ve used Shy-Guy Bazaar instead of Toad Circuit, aaaaahhhhhh* But there’s no tracks from 3DS that would fit any of the waves…

Shy Guy Bazaar or literally any other 3DS track over Toad Circuit (I’d even be fine with 3DS Mario Circuit, just something else than the boring ass Toad Circuit)…
Replace MC3 with GCN Peach Beach(fuck SNES tracks, we don’t need more than 1 SNES track in the BCP, because they just don’t get updated to be interesting anyways)
I actually don’t think Sydney Sprint somewhere else, Wave 2 really needed Sydney Sprint to justify City tracks (as the 3 previous ones were just best case scenario were okay and worse case scenario they were super mid…
tldr: Sydney Sprint was the first… and only Banger city track, and Wave 2 needed it to justify the City tracks existing and show that they aren’t going to remain boring forever)
yk what, fuck Airship Fortress, DS Mario Circuit stays, and now that SNES Mario Circuit 3/4 is no more, then it’s okay for DSMC to exist…
Move Bangkok Rush to Wave 5, move Singapore Speedway to the start of the Boomerang Cup and put Los Angeles Laps at the end(like it was originally supposed to be) although they could have delayed Berlin Byways to make Wave 3 actually have an interesting City track but whatever Ig?
I would love to see both DK Mountain and Dino Dino Jungle, mushroom Bridge is just a simpler shroom Ridge with the bridge as the only interesting thing. Mushroom city on the other hand cold be more knteresting with track changing layout, but as you said, we already have many city courses.
At lest the double dash tracks will look amazing since they didn't come out super early like most tracks. In my opinion it a good thing we waited so long because tracks only started looking good and feel like they was made with 8 in mind during wave 3.
My order of GCN courses are:
Wave 4 - Waluigi Stadium
Wave 5 - Daisy Cruiser
Wave 6 - Mushroom Bridge and DK Mountain
I still believe that they have Waluigi Stadium prepared before Wave 3 (as they also have its assets in the Tour datamine) but was pushed over to replace it with Maple Treeway as a respond to the datamine leaks. I also picked DK Mountain over Dino Dino Jungle because it sounds ridiculous to believe in an in-game advert. It could be a coincidence.

Also the advert is not enough evidence, though could be a small little hint to their original plans at the very least, but there is other evidence aswell…
@@playerlgamer0592 maybe so. But I guess it makes sense for them to add a course that hasn't been released for Tour in each wave (with the exception of Wave 3 due to a minute change from leaks. If they stick to the original plan, Waluigi Stadium would be the only Wave 3 track that hasn't come out yet).
But overall, I'm sure that new tracks that they've introduced in Tour will be in the DLC in a way. I know everyone, me included, is disappointed at DS Mario Circuit to be the pick instead of Airship Fortress. But looking at the Tour datamine months before, Mario Circuit is inevitable.

Dino Dino Jungle! Easily one of my top 3 favourite tracks along with Wuhu Mountain Loop and GCN Rainbow Road!
Definitely DDJ! As you said, it's a more unique track and its status as a Special Cup track + the 2nd course of a final cup makes sense as a track in the Spiny Cup. The theming is more unique too; I'd love to see the Noshis in HD

I would order it like this:
Wave 4 - DK Mountain
Wave 5 - Daisy Cruisier
Wave 6 - Waluigi Stadium (replacing Maple Treeway) and Dino Dino Jungle
I really want both but I think I would rather have Dino Dino Jungle.
Team DK Mountain. I won't stand for Wave 6 to receive an easy track.

I really wish we'd get Mushroom City over Mushroom Bridge, given that the latter was already brought back in Mario Kart DS (though I could've sworn I had this Mandela effect of remembering Mushroom City being a retro track in MKWii, but I probably was just thinking of something else like Moonview Highway)
Also given the fact that Mushroom City is my favourite track in MKDD lol
Now we are probably not getting either. We are likely getting Daisy Cruiser and DK Mountain.
I think wario colosseum is going in the pass, it would fit the style of mk8 if they used some anti gravity, it´s also a unique track. One more reason is because it have no remake so now is a good time for it to get in a game.
Yes! Also on a more personal note I have Mario Kart Wii so I can always just Waluigi Stadium on the Wii.
I think Mushroom City would be a better fit than Mushroom Bridge. Partly because I can imagine a new twist equivalent to N64 Kalimari Desert and Peach Gardens. Picture this: Lap is normal with the choice of paths at the center of the track, Lap 2 only lets you take one of those paths and then turn around on the other path (as well as crossing traffic with other racers), and Lap 3 is Lap 1 in reverse thanks to Lap 2
I wouldn’t be so sure about all the tracks being based on ones already in Tour by now or datamined for Tour already, because Wii Rainbow Road just got recently announced despite (to my knowledge) not being datamined for it whatsoever, so there could still be a couple unknowns

@JO Maq they found codes for luma, stars bits, and many more stuff pointing toward wii Rainbow Road for it during the mario verses luigi tour 2022. Most of the tour communities didn't really believe they were actually gonna do it. A surprise to be sure.
@@astraeus2524 huh really? Any cases where zero traces of track assets or anything in Tour were leaked before official announcements tho?
@JO Maq there a lot of assets that have been in tour for years, but only recently it been use for tracks. Ds shroom ridge was datamine for tour right after the first dlc wave was released, but tracks like snow land was in tour files for a long time before wave 2. But we don't really know until after the dlc wave release and we realized tracks like waluigi stadium was leak months ago. Around 15 different tracks is datamine for tour but it not guaranteed every single one will be in 8. After wave 2 it seem the developers have caught up with both games so we should expect a closer release for both retro and new tracks in tour and 8.

I have the exact same predictions basically Mushroom Bridge in Wave 4, Daisy Cruiser in Wave 5, and Wave 6 having Waluigi Stadium. Also I believe we’re probably gonna get DK Mountain over Dino Dino Jungle imo. It’s arguably one of the biggest fan favorites in the series and they’ve brought back the biggest fan favorite from a lot of the games ie Waluigi Pinball, possibly Airship Fortress, Coconut Mall, 3DS Rainbow Road etc, and also it’s inclusion imo in Mario Kart Tour I feel wouldn’t really make much sense since I feel like the track fundamentally doesn’t work very well in MK Tour but it would perfectly in MK8D. It also have halfpipes which the game should have more of and hell it can probably bring in anti gravity on the mountain or maybe even remove the cannon on lap 3 and make you jump on a ramp to go backwards back up the mountain through another cannon back to the finish line like DK Mountain R. Idk I like Dino Dino Jungle a lot too but I feel like it doesn’t have much going on in the gameplay aspect that it could bring to the table. Oh and I guess this is a slight point that the mobDK track in Tour might not even be a DK course but that’s not really anything we can talk about atm since it’s been barely datamined. …….oh and I hope we get Airship Fortress in Wave 4.
Aside form Mushroom Bridge, these are good choices. Mushroom City would be more fun.
@@JRS06 I honestly really like Mushroom City more too but it seems like a long shot to be added to the BCP. It reminds me that hopefully maybe the next Mario Kart game adds a new gimmick but also brings back and expands on what we already have in 8 Deluxe that would be so cool

Double Dash is my favorite Mario Kart!!!! So underrated
I think Mushroom Bridge will be in wave 5, since it would conflict too much with Amsterdam. Daisy Cruiser would therefore go in wave 4, and Koopa Cape will probably go in wave 5 along with Piranha Plant Cove, so therefore having Daisy Cruiser in wave 5 would give it a third sea-related track.
i wouldn't be so sure about mushroom bridge. it is still a city track and i would give it the exact same "bunch of real cities and then this" discussion. i personally think they're going to bring back gcn bowser castle in the spiny cup since there's no other retro bowser castles and none of the others (at least 3d ones) are even remotely likely. for cup order i would say waluigi stadium wave 4 since it's likely already close to completion from originally being in wave 3, daisy cruiser wave 5 bc summer, then dk mountain acorn cup bc spiny cup. i wouldn't say bowser castle is more likely than mushroom bridge to come as there's no current datamines, but it just feels right
I'm just glad that we're going to get Double Dash tracks at all! I was starting to get a bit worried that we wouldn't be getting any. I have very fond memories playing Double Dash as a kid, and today it's definitely still my favourite Mario Kart game! I honestly don't mind whichever Double Dash tracks we do end up getting, however I do hope that we get Mushroom Bridge at the very least as driving up that bridge as a kid was so much fun and those memories of driving up the bridge is peak nostalgia for me!

Bowser's Castle and Wario Colosseum both have a very low chance of being added in the Booster Course Pass.

It's 100% dino dino jungle, the ad in coconut mall and for some reason most tracks that were in tour at launch are coming (and just ones that are already in tour) (toad circuit, new york etc) and dino dino jungle, so there

one other thing, in each wave i think they will be a surprise twist track (kalimari desert, the tracks and peach gardens you go backwards) so that's cool
last thing dino dino jungle feels like it would be in wave 5, idk seems a bit easy for the final cup of the bcp

My personal choices would be Daisy Cruiser, Waluigi Stadium, DK Mountain, and Bowser's Castle.
Definitely Daisy Cruiser.
Why: It was a tough choice between this, Mushroom Bridge, DK Mountain and Dino Dino Jungle, but I'd say that Daisy Cruiser is the most likely to come to the BCP.
1: It's a fan favorite.
2: There are currently no Daisy-themed tracks in the entire game yet.
3: It was recently added to Tour.
4: It has a summer theme.
5: It's an amazing track and one of the best in Double Dash.
6: It's unique (Mushroom Bridge is somewhat similar to Shroom Ridge and DK Mountain is very similar to DK Summit) (Dino Dino Jungle is unique too, so that should be one of the GCN tracks in Wave 6)

Honestly, I just hope that the GameCube selection is fantastic in the final three waves, and DS Mario Circuit or Airship Fortress being added would be good, the former because it’s actually fairly well designed, also datamined for Tour, and the latter because that is a popular track, so it makes sense to have it over Luigi’s Mansion, since we have the GameCube battle track, and DK Pass, because we already have Wii DK Summit.
I REALLY hope we get Mushroom City because it's never been remade. We've already seen Mushroom Bridge in the DS version (although it was lacking the driveable bridge and other things too). Mushroom City was always the better of the two I feel.
Hello Boris i really liked your video but there's some stuff i don't really agree with:
-Them choose Bridge over City can happen but there's still possibility of both appearing bc their objects were datamined, also in Mushroom City in Double the whole downtown section was filled with those same objects that were mentioned here.
-With DK Mountain and DDJ, you do notice that every GCN track is the second track on the cup it's in right? Meaning no matter which one is it they are (or were) bound to appear as the second tracks in the cup.

Team Dino Dino Jungle all the way. It has a better layout than DK Mountain imo. Plus it'd feel redundant to add DK Mountain especially since DK Summit is also likely and they both have similar layouts.
Still mad we arnt getting more 3ds tracks.
Wuuhu tracks, wario shipyard, shy guy Bazar and rosalina's ice world.
And even the simpler ones like daisy hills, mario circuit.
I guess there is already a lot of them in base mk8.
Hope none of the datamined spots for GCN tracks get replaced
Little me from 19 years ago, struggled with Double Dash.
Beating CPU's only after multiple attempts and alot of luck.
But when I got to Rainbow Road...
The music, the drop at the start, and the fact that I started last place with all other racers falling in front of me at all sides.
It was Amazing.
Boomerang Cup course 2: Waluigi Stadium
Cherry Cup course 3: Daisy Cruiser
Acorn Cup course 2: DK Mountain
Spiny Cup course 2: Mushroom City
If vanilla lake doesn’t get in then I think it’s safe to assume that dino Dino jungle won’t get in. Instead do mountain

These predictions are fairly solid. Waluigi Stadium is my favourite course in the series so I want to hope they add it as soon as possible. It could get repetitive, like you said, but having DK Summit, Waluigi Stadium, Airship Fortress and LA Laps would make for an incredible wave. Daisy Cruiser fits too well into Wave 5 and I want to hope we get Koopa Beach 2 over Vanilla Lake 2. I think they will have 2 GameCube courses in Wave 6. One in the Acorn Cup, to replace the Wii slot, and the 2nd slot of the Spiny Cup. I really hope we get Mushroom City and Dino Dino Jungle if my prediction is correct but overall I'm hoping for the best with the Double Dash courses
Oh god I seriously hope we do get Airship Fortress. I’d be so upset if it really gets shafted by Mario Circuit of all courses

In DK mountain there’s big rocks falling while you take a turn and we’ve seen those big rocks in N64 Choco Mountain, 3DS Alpine pass and Mario Kart 8 Bowser’s castle.

Also, lol people talking about there not being a single GameCube track in waves 1-3, but not as much that there’s not gonna be any N64 and 3DS tracks in waves 4-6
I always figured Dino Dino was a shoo-in. I’m pretty sure it and Yoshi Circuit were the only GCN courses in Tour as of Wave 1’s release. Waluigi Stadium and Daisy Cruiser are probably guaranteed too. There’s also no rule that prevents Nintendo from just bringing DK Mountain and Dino Dino Jungle together. They do whatever they want; doesn’t matter if the tracks have the same music. Mushroom Bridge/City is the wild card, I have no clue if those will get in or not.
Dino Dino Jungle has a very big chance it could be in the DLC, it’s already in tour and it was advertised in Coconut Mall like you said!

As much as it hurts me to say it I think Dino Dino Jungle is more likely than DK Mountain (not because I don't like the former, just less than the latter), mostly because of the advertisement in Coconut Mall.
Would be cool to have Mushroom City, but I agree that we'll probably get Mushroom Bridge which is a simpler, but luckily still great track.
Other than that, I'm quite happy about Waluigi Stadium (although too bad Wario Colosseum is practically deconfirmed) and especially Daisy Cruiser's potential inclusion!
All I want from double Dash is Bowser's castle and Warios coluseeum with mushroom city as a bonus, is that too hard to ask Nintendo??

Mushroom city would be good because of the mushroom cars, bomb cars, wiggler buses, and potentially new types of cars like banana cars, star cars, etc.

I think the waluigi staduim is appearing but for the other 3 I think bowser castle then Mario circut and for mushroom bridge luigi circut these choices maybe bad but they are fun and idk but they need to come back and I hope I get in to another booster course pass video

I honestly hope that when they swapped Waluigi Stadium with Maple Treeway, they decided to go with Wario Colosseum instead (i highly doubt it but it's a dream).
The only double dash course I don't want back is Daisy Cruiser since I just don't find it fun. I know there are people out there who really like the course but I just don't really understand why. yeah the theming is a good idea but they could have done so much more with the idea of a cruise ship course if they made a modern version of it. The courses in double dash were made with the dual driver gimmick in mind so they made the courses pretty open, and to play them in other games feels makes them feel so empty. So the dining room area, while the tables are obstacles, just feels empty and is just a straight shot to the next area of the course. I also just feel like the remake of Daisy Cruiser isn't great since the beginning has a split path instead of only having one and the pool being something you can just drive into instead of it being an obstacle makes the split path on the left useless since its always faster to go right instead.
The only DD course that I personally want back is Bowser's Castle since I don't think we'll get Wii's (which is my favorite Bowser's Castle) since the final course is expected to be Wii rainbow road and I really want another Bowser's Castle since we only have one yet we apparently are going to have 5 Rainbow Roads in total. Yeah it doesn't have a ton going for it but they definitely could change some things up in a remake

I honestly don’t want to see Mushroom Bridge or Dino Dino Jungle, but I doubt Mushroom City will come because a part of Bangkok Rush is heavily inspired by it, so they wouldn’t want to be repetitive.
I’m kinda speculating we could get 4 GCN tracks because of the prefix leak, GCN Waluigi Stadium was just swapped, not replaced, and there were 2 3DS Tracks in wave 3, so it is not impossible. And maybe there is a chance DK Mountain will make it in, because the mobDK doesn’t have any Donkey Kong related assets associated with it, so it could stand for something else (although not likely). Also they seem to be prioritizing courses that were in Wii, so that’s another thing. (Ex. SNES Mario Circuit 3 and DS Peach Gardens). There’s just so many things but we will just have to wait and see...

To be fair, if mobDK instead ended up being Pipe-themed (as in Dokan), we could more likely see DK Mountain! Personally, mobDK being that would be kingly!

Mario Kart 9 and 10 don’t have any either! No Magma Mine, Airship Central or Blooper Beach! And the worst part is that Double Dash at least had some tracks remade in the base game! 9 and 10 do not!

mk8 snobs DD so hard, in the base game there was only 4 GCN, a good but still nerfed version of yoshi circuit, sherbet land was good, baby park an absolute trash and dry dry desert is pointless, and now after 3 wave still no GCN even dough we're choked with tour, if the BCP selection isn't at least very good, fans will riot

Wii DK Summit was leaked in the BCP, so what's the point of having GCN DK Mountain in the BCP as well. These two tracks are too similar to each other, I don't think it's necessary to have DK Mountain in the BCP. Probably Dino Dino Jungle over DK Mountain. Since Wii Maple Treeway is being used in the Rock Cup could that mean that the Acorn Cup would have a GCN course instead?
