Pillager outposts are even more deadly when you realize that arrows beat most armor because it's a ton of force focused on a single point which is the basic principle behind armor penetration on anything i don't care if it's Netherite realistically speaking the force would also damage your internal organs from the shockwave and these are just crossbows if these illager's really hate you they can pull out a "normal" bow which isn't as accurate for an untrained archer sure but if it hits you you are deep fried cooked and spit roasted like you just got hit by the reincarnation of Kernal Sanders
