They forgot to add Nikki Blonsky from the musical version 2007 remake. It would been very epic to see all four generations of Tracy's in one room.
Jacob Kemezys I was hoping Neil Meron & Craig Zadan would give Nikki a call since she was their Tracy before Maddie.

For some reason, I don't think Harvey liked the 2007 version very much, as he did say he wasn't going to include many things from it in the show. Not only that but isn't it kinda weird that Christopher Walken, Queen Latifah, and Elijah Kelley, who were in past NBC Live shows, were in the 2007 movie yet none of them got at least cameo's in the new one? I think that's a little suspicious...
smurvin Actually he never saw the movie according to a tweet of his I read when the show was promoted last August at the Summer Television Critic Association conference. But he was briefly featured in the end credits in a vocal cameo of Mama I'm A Big Girl Now with Nikki Blonsky Ricki Lake and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
Nikki Blonsky in my book is the best Tracy ever. She had the entire package.

No she actually wasn't. It was the original movie Tracy and the original broadway Tracey. I was very disappointed when i found out she wasn't in it.

I love Nikki's bubbly acting but with Marissa's quirky voice.
Im happy that Maddie finally got to sit down and meet two of the Tracys that came before her. With Ricki and Marissa planning to cameo in Hairspray Live, this will be even more surreal than when Stephanie Mills passed the Dorothy mantle as Auntie Em to Shanice Williams last year!

Omg i cant believe it! Its been 3ys 😢 i just remembered , i am so so excited to watch this on nbc live 😢 and everything was fine no corona , only fun and excitement, i also remember, im so excited to show this live with my classmates before nbc deleted it. Ughh those days. 😢😢❤❤
