Here's my theory. The Dragon Emperor wanted the world items. NOT the players. The spell was meant to transfer the world items of yggdrassil into the new world, but it also brought with it the players wielding those items, or in their close proximity. That's also why nazarick in its entirety came to the new world. It just had a lot of world items in it.
5:00 :in prologue side story is revealed that the throne itself is a world item gifted by the admin as bonus for the successful first try raid of the tomb of Nazarick
If the Isekai happened because wild magic summoning world items, it could stand to reason ainz was the last one because they had the largest number of world items. It's like how demon summoning was explained in other media, the larger the summon, the stronger the bridge between worlds needed to be for them to cross. People with 1 or 2 world items came first but nazarick was too 'heavy' and took longer to come over
I'm not too sure if that's possible considering that world items were only feasibly obtainable by guilds of lvl 100 players, and we know that an absolute newbie (weak by new world standards) was transported, and became one of the seven heroes (and eventually became the strongest and leader). Someone like that wouldn't have any world items and as such wouldn't be targeted by the world item summoning wild magic, leaving probably the only major hole in that theory, otherwise I would love to think that's what happened
@@joshguide6389 there could be several explanations for the newbie. Vet player using new acc for exploration purposes (doesnt want to tarnish perfect acc character if he dies exploring maybe) Newbie joins game and guild with vet friends (could be IRL friends or friends from other games) An explorer who has died many times exploring the game has the fruits of their labor pay off with finding a new World Item (explains low level start with meteoric rise) I can think of more but I think my point is clear that it could be possible. I personally think that all PC's in a guild get transported together, and that their transportation is dependant on quantity of WI on them collectively. Guild bases only transport of they have connections to WI (Nazarick essentially being one due to the thrones connection).
@@joshguide6389 in addition to what kage3578 said, they could have also been given it by a player that quit before, how many of us have given a super rare item away when we knew we weren't coming back to the game? or just in proximity to a player that had a world item. All of the nazarick maids came over too and they are only level 1 after all.
@@joshguide6389 not all world items were found via battle, some just took some really obtuse and antilogical conditions. That could mean that exploring type of players (not min maxers for pvp) could find one of them. Especially if it was a humanoid, because i dont think humanoids were hunted on the open fields like heteromorphs were. Just like there are people that found a way to exit the bounds of the map in breath of the wild, or to fly all the way into ganondorf castle almost at the start of the game.
13:12 no. The answer comes directly from pdl acknowledging that the armor can't keep up with that level of combat and believes he could not lose if he went in person (when referring to fighting ainz 1v1 or even shalltear)
Two theories and a question to address in next Q&A! •I had read a theory on Reddit that the isekai to the New World was dependent on World Items - i.e. it’s the world items being transferred and the players simply have them in their possession, or are near them, at the time of the transition therefore they, and their bases, are brought along. I think that this would make sense, as maybe the world items themselves were the original target / goal of the Dragon Emperor. This is (maybe?) further illustrated by PDL’s dislike of players possibly indicating they were neither expected nor wanted. As a side note I know PDL has other reasons to dislike players as well. However what would this mean for the minotaur player, and the two players from the 13 Heroes - did they have world items too? •I think I had read another theory that said the evil spirits / deities / demons (depending on translation) that the 13 Heroes fought were the Eight Greed Kings’ NPCs. At this point the Greed Kings themselves had died due to infighting. Is there any truth to this? They are described as deities, a term a New Worlder might use for a player’s npc by New World standards. They appeared not long after the fall of the Greed Kings - they didn’t show up after the usual 100-200 year interval (as far as I can tell from the fandom wiki) which might indicate they already been brought over, and had bided their time. At that point they had lost their players and decided they would destroy the world. •Is the New World only as large as the map portrays in the anime and that we read / hear about in the Light Novels? That is to say, is it possible there’s another continent or some other, more distant, land where another player(s) may have been sent? Where they remain ignorant of Momonga and his actions in the New World?
I'm not too sure if the world item theory is possible considering that world items were only feasibly obtainable by guilds of lvl 100 players, and we know that an absolute newbie (weak by new world standards) was transported, and became one of the seven heroes (and eventually became the strongest and leader, they're mentioned a couple of times as the hero with infinite growth). I'm not too sure, but I believe I remember reading that the greed kings had some infighting and culled their numbers quite significantly, as such, the 13 heroes probably only had to fight a fraction of what the greed kings were capable at their height. I'm not sure which map you're using, but the all the official maps I could find were quite clearly not the entire world, with sections to the right and left which land continued into one country or another, it would be an interesting twist if there is another continent or 2 where other players have been spawning in as well and seeing how they developed.
@@joshguide6389 from my understanding, to strengthen/provide more souls(?)/energy for their wild magic or something on par with wild magic, the Dragon Emperor casted a spell to get it from another world/dimension since the resources in the NW to continually supply/enhance wild magic is limited. Based on the epilogue of EvilEye side story, Satoru together with the new AOG discovered few WCI in the NW. Some of those were found in a sanctuary or ruins. And some WCI have owners who are not explicitly said are "players". These led to strengthen the theory that the WCI(which is on par with wild magic) are the ones that are transported in the NW by Dragon Emperor's spell. WCI from Yggdrasil doesn't need to be owned by a player to be transported in the NW. Also, a WCI can be discovered even by a low level player in Yggdrasil just by meeting certain requirements or even simply stumbling upon it during one's adventures on an undiscovered/hidden areas in Yggdrasil. Now as for players without WCI getting transported in the NW(like the ones from 13heroes and the Minotaur sage), this is my theory, they got transported because players are entity that has lots of EXP or accumulate lots of it in short time. EXP(or levels) are referred by natives of NW as "Souls" and it's also used as battery/ammunition for Dragon Lord's wild magic. A DL using wild magic will consume a portion of their own soul which they found unfavorable for them and limits their use of it and they can't get much souls from the living beings in the NW since most of them are low levels. Cure Elim did it but he needed an enormous amount of souls/exp to fuel his strongest wild magic and it resulted on complete annihilation of 4 nations. Now back to Dragon Emperor's spell, I don't think that he nor any of the DLs at the time knew what Yggdrasil, WCI or players are. All he did was to cast a spell/ritual to bring souls or things/entities that can provide souls for their wild magic. Leading to not just WCI(on par with wild magic) but also players who doesn't own a WCI(entities who has or can generate more exp/souls than your average NewWorlder) getting transported to the NW. At least that's my theory on why players w/o WCI got transported even though it is established in the EvilEye side story that WCI w/o an owner got transported in the NW too.
@@joshguide6389 the 2 members of the 13 heroes are the only group that have arrived with no mention of a world item. They know about guilds having world items, world items also use xp as a use cost, and they were low level when they arrived. The possibility of them just spam casting it at the very end of the game isn't impossible
At 13:12, Shalltear didn't have a world item at the time to begin with. Before her Brainwash incident throughout Nazarick only Ains and Abedo had access to world items. As to whether PDL faced fully decked out Shalltear that's a no. We know that PDL's Armor got nicked while fighting her, and we also know that the Armor has only HP since PA-Ains checked him with Life Essense and Mana Essense during his fight. So with her Lance, Shalltear would be at an advantage against the Armor and I feel like as soon as he felt that he would loose he escaped just like how he did during his fight with PA-Ains.
7:50 Because Momon's guild clean in the first try the tomb, they got a bonus for their npc creation, I think it was 3000 for that type of tomb, but because of the first try they got to over 4000 or more can t remember exactly. They also got other things like the Siege Golem.
im happy to see the effort you are putting in to see and compare the differences from the LN and the Anime. glad i found your channel when i did cant wait to see those videos release.
A thing about the time line I'd like to add, it's a get out of recon jail free card. If a player does show up, they can either have been hidden for a very long time (somehow hidden for so long and didn't bother seeing wtf was going on in the world for some reason) or just showed up now thanks to the time line being all weird. That means his friend that logged off might not have logged out but was summoned when he tried, then dropped in the time line AFTER Ainz was already there. That's a perfectly reasonable way to bring a friend of Ains into the world without it being some really obvious deus ex machina moment. Not that it's likely to happen obviously, but at least if something like that does happen, it's not some plot armour bs that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
The Bonus Volume is really really good, you can find it in the Overlord subreddit, and there's also a text-to-speech audiobook version on TH-cam as well. I know you prefer to have the physical copy to pay respects to the author, but if you really like his work I feel like it's ok to read it via a fan translation! =)

To expand on the time line theories, I think the players with fewer world items arrived first with larger groups of world items appearing later. Nazarik as a LOT of world items and that would definitely seem to indicate that Ainz will be the last to arrive...because I can't imagine who else didn't give away their items and such during the shutdown period who'd have more world items then Nazarick who'd still be around during the final hours of the game. Following that logic it is highly likely Nazarick will be the final arrival. From what I understand, the Dragon Lords mistaken Yggdrasil as a real world. They didn't really understand how the technology worked or that it was a artificial world. So the wild magic spent more energy then expected because it had to create new life when obtaining the world items. The players and such getting transported with the items was perhaps backlash from them using the magic incorrectly and this is why I believe the reason for the timeline placement of each arrival. Small groups of players arrived first, then larger ones who had more world items came later. Then finally the one with the most, Nazarick came in last. The world items that took the least amount of wild magic power to get came the soonest. Then those with more came later since it took longer for the wild magic to build them via the life energy. The Dragon lords were not expecting to create something from nothing hence why the wild magic likely got messed up from this and the time dilation occured and the accident of creating NPC/Players via the wild magic. That's why I believe Ainz will be the final player. He as the sole remaining player of his guild who still remained online and his guild likely having the most world items of them all. It's possible other guilds might have managed to collect more but they likely scattered to the wind when the game shutdown was announced and came near. Ainz out of respect and memory of his friends worked to keep the guild around in a dead game basically. No one else who had the amount of world items and power he had would have bothered. They likely abandoned the game while ago. So it makes sense he would be the final arrival to the new world! This kinda aligns with that side story too where Ainz left to do fireworks and when the transport happened he arrived a couple hundred years before his guild did. He only had one world item on him (that I know of. I haven't read that story and only heard some summaries of it) during his short excursion out so that's why he arrived before his guild base did!
It’s only a theory from an anime only fan, but what if teleporting with your base was more common than we think. Like what if the base for the 6 great gods is an extremely holy/ capital building of the theocracy? I haven’t heard info on that yet.
At 5:21, my guess is that it's the guild weapon that anchored Nazarick to Ains, since he reminisces that guild weapons are the most valuable thing for a guild base and nobody would go around showing off their Guild Weapon outside, we also know that Nazarick has a security measure to transport the guild weapon out in case of invasions reaching the last floors, so my guess is the Staff of Ains Oal Gown is what brought Nazarick together with Momonga to the new world because he was holding it at the moment
The prenovels mention a bonus for clearing the dungeon that became Nazarick was enhanced number of levels and enhanced npc level pool, plus respawning weak undead without cost.
Ainz says in the alternative world novel that once you change your race, especially to undead. There are no ways to return back. That there are ways to remove status effects but a full race change is outside of it. He mentions maybe with a world item, but such world item hasnt been shown to exist and he doesnt have it in nazerik. So maybe if the other players that isekai'ed had such world item, it could be possible but unlikely
The 'Throne of Kings' is a World Item itself. From everything I've read and looked into, the Dragon Emperor dragged the World Items into the New World in his quest for more power. So, any Players that possessed a World Item and were playing Yggdrasil at the time of Server Shutdown were brought along. For people like the Eight Greed Kings and Ainz, who had their World Item(s) inside their Guild Base, the Base came with them. Nazarick, possessing 11 World Items in total, was going to get transported to the New World for sure, perhaps even if Ainz hadn't been logged in. (This is just a theory though) A second Theory that I've heard is that the Evil Deities were NPCs that followed the Lore their creators gave them and terrorized the New World when the Guild Base with a World Item in it was transported to the New World without any Players there to control the NPCs.
I don't believe so but that would depend on the differences between the new world and yggdrasil. In the game a guild could only have 1 guild base and would have to get rid of it before claiming another, nazarik had almost the maximum capacity for npc levels but didn't have the full amount that would only be available to a single guild base on each of the nine worlds so it's unlikely that the floating Isle would have more but even if it did nazarik's npc level was already expanded past the limit with cash items as guild members were complaining when some of the other members were using excessive amounts of levels on multiple npcs meaning not everyone could make them.
@@jamesbudd3394 it was an excessive amount if data for nazaricks base, not the levels of the npcs. They did increase both limits with in game purchases and the guild leader is also able to take up a quest to increase npc levels
6:58 Two corrections. Firstly, While yes the first LN does use castle-class guild base as an *example* and lists it's 700 levels to use in making NPCs, later volumes confirm that Nazarick is anything but a common guild base. As a unique dungeon, it's the only one that existis in it's world/server, significantly harder to aquire, cannot be duplicated,, way more expensive to maintain. It had the capacity of 2,250 levels to be districuted amung NPCs but because Ainz Ooal Gown cleared it first-try, they got a free world item (the throne) and a bonus 500 levels to play around with. While it's true more NPCs cannot be created beynd that limit I don't belive it's been confirmed that the guild is already AT that limit yet. Ainz muses to himself at one point that the experince or data crystals he himself would need to put in to make a new NPC would not be easy to farm and recoup, so he's hesitent to do anything that costs it, implying he could add more. Most of the Floor Guardians are level 100 but the battle maids are nowhere near that, and simpler npcs like the homonculous maids are all super low level, suggesting the guild conserved comppared to it's limits and still has room to grow. EDIT: Upon checking the Wiki, it suggests 1980/2750 levels are used up. I don't belive that's 100% confirmed, likely based on estimates, but helps reinforce the idea that more NPCs could be created, though at a cost Ainz is unwilling to pay at this time? Secondly, you refer to how the guild hall itself is constatly producing creatures, but these aren't NPCs. The novels repeatedly use the term "pop monsters" to refer to them, and everything from the game, to Ainz, to the NPCs themselves do not see pop monsters as the same kind of creature. They aren't hand-designed and are more like beasts and tools as compared to people. Fun fact, one of the *Flood Guardians* is a Pop monster. Gargantua, for all his impressive stats, is suggested to have no intellgience and isn;t respected by the others because it's just a *huge* pop monster generated by the guild. He's powerful enugh to serve as a guardian for a floor but isn't an NPC.
About Nazarick being the last group to be isekai, it’s just a hypothesis. But it has some weight I think. Since Dragon Emperor brought world items, and the players along with it. And they don’t all come at the same time. Nazarick has the most number of world items, so maybe it takes longer to transport. If this is true then it makes sense that Nazarick might be the last.
I believe that the players were transported at different times. I also believe there is a time dilation so a year in the real world would be something like 100 years in the new world. I also believe that the players that are transported also stay in the real world, I think they are split. This is why I believe that it is not mentioned in the novel that there had been deaths that could have been linked to the game.
It would be cool if no other player would come to this world after ainz. I want ainz to rule the world without having to fear others. And if somehow another player would be isekaied after ainz, then the only thing I want to see is him being killed in the first 3 min by albedos squad
I hope there are more players coming after Ainz/Momonga. Just so he can meet a kindred spirit. I doubt we're going to see it though. Or maybe it ends the moment of the meeting/confrontation. Considering his nature he could live to see it like the other undead player.
To answer some of the things you didn't know: Platinum mentioned at one point that the most recent batch of Yggdrasil entities should be the last one or maybe one more after. The reason the Great Tomb came along is because the Trone of Kings is a world item that the guild gained for taking it over, it also functions as the core of the tomb. Invading players would have to deal enough damage to officially clear it. The number of NPC levels they had was based on how well they did when clearing it, don't remember the exact number but it was over 2000. Because of first clear bonus and clearing it on their first try.
7:01 Just fyi the minimum levels rewarded for capturing a guild base was 700. For conquering a top guild base the guild would be given 3000 levels of data storage. Since Ainz Ooal Gown conquered Nazarick on their first try they were given 2750 levels of data storage.
It could be the throne as the reason Nazarick was transported in its entirety, but then how do you explain Eryuentiu? Does that have a world item embedded in it? Was it actually built after they were transported to the NW to act as their new base? I think its more likely that the tomb and the city was transported simply because there were world items inside them and the spell the Dragon Emperor used just took the entire loaded area along with the world items there. Makes sense when you think about it. It keeps all those powerful objects in one place, instead of forcing you to travel the world to find all those items, you just need to find a giant building of some kind that randomly appeared, which will be a lot easier than the small items (people would notice when giant, heavily fortified buildings just magically appears near them), also makes almost impossible for some random to happen across the world items before you like what might happen if they weren't protected.
Here’s a question I have for the next QnA. Do you think we might see Cure Elim again in the main series when Ainz eventually fights PDL. He should be alive in the main timeline since Ainz was transported way later than in the alternate one.
At 8:20, my guess is for Ains being unable to make custom NPC is that he lacks the tools, it's mentioned that the NPC data can be modified in Yggdrasil with Data Crystals and special tools, although I forgot where I have read that piece of info, forgive me if I got it wrong.
My theory is that the transfer from Yggdrasil to the The New World requires massive amounts of wild magic. More than the Dragon Emperor could bring to bear all at once. So it would take 1 to 2 hundred years of births and deaths to generate enough soul energy to manifest items and players from Yggdrasil. (at least after the arrival of the first batch - 6 gods)
The theory I personally believe is that the world items were targeted to be transfered to the new world but since some players had them equipped or was like the throne of nazarick which itself is a world item attached to the entire guild base, they got transfered with it as well due to it being connected to them, so I think the eight greed kings base must of had a world item attached to it in some way to be transferred like nazarick. I also believe due to the side story that since Ainz got transferred faster due to being outside of his base at the time, I think the amount of world items attached makes it transfer much slower thus arriving much later.
10:00 custom npcs are built the exact same way as players are. They can replicate any players build or any player could replicate an npcs build and they would be no weaker
2:51 when thinking of it as "Ainz was there until the server shutdown, so he must be the last player" there's simply no way players all come from the same Yddrasil and arrive in congruence with real-time. Firstly, they appear *Centuries* apart, and Yddrasil was a game for 12 years. Secodnly, even if you're thinking that maybe it's a kind of time-mutliplication thing, like being shot back like 5 days erlier lead to being 500 years before Ainz, the light novels continually stress how tightly earth and it's humanity were moderated. If even a single person was playing the game and just *vanished*, of thier human body was dead/alseep while playing, the company would have likely been shut down and it would have made major news. Ainz being there in the final day strongly suggests no one had been Esekai'ed prior to the final day, thinking they all vanished on server shutdown and arrive in different centuries is the only explination that currently makes sense. If it's a difference of like a few *seconds* translate to erlier or later I guess that's possible, but that's basically identical to it being a mystery since there's no way as readers/viewers we can possibly know how many seconds off Ainz was from the others.
I think that players were summoning during all the time because I've heard that Chinese dress World item Downfall of Nation and Castle was lost long ago
Personally, I'm curious if somehow Ainz, and the guardians were defeated along with everyone else in the tomb. Would the leader of the forces that accomplished that feat become the "owners" of the tomb and the NPCs that spawn there would serve them?
12:49 unfortunately, the light novel doesn't go into detail about the fight between Shalltear and PDL's armour, but we are shown a brief scene (in one of the movies) where Shalltear attacks PDL, he retaliates by slamming her into the ground with his floating weapons, and then when the dust clears, we see that she has equipped both her Valkyrie armour and her lance. The scene cuts off after that. So he technically did fight her while she was in her armour, but like you said, it was probably a short skirmish, so I doubt he saw much of her abilities (like [Einherjar]).
I think the reason that the EGK's guild base came with them is because their base probably had a World Item that was connected to the base; just like how the Great Tomb of Nazarick has the Throne of Kings protecting the base. I had a random thought but do you think that since Nazarick if protected by the Throne of Kings, it would be protected by Wild Magic attacks against the tomb itself? PDL's true body is probably at or equivalent to a level 100 entity; but his and, probably, all the Dragon Lord's critical weakness is that World Items negate Wild Magic. DDDL, who I'd say is at least relative to PDL, was able to kill a player who had a World Item, but I think he countered and jumped the player to manage that. What do you think is the "her" in the Sea City PDL refers to? An NPC? A stronger monster?

There will be future players to appear, that is confirmed. 2- The reason why Guild bases appear is because the targeted World Class Item to be transported was inside the guild base area, and qo everyone and everything within it gets teleported. 3- The Six Great Gods where confirmed to be members of the Kitten Kingdom guild that ainz mentioned during early volumes, and the God of Wind is named Glittering Angel Neko Nya, A tank Paladin. 4- Ainz cant make more NPCs because he doesnt have sufficient base levels, and the Yggdrasil Creator Kit doesn't exist anymore. 5- Six Great Gods are NOT the founders of Slane Theocracy. The country was founded after their death and they were used as racism figures to show Human Superiority over all other races. 6- Players in the NW are knows by term Gods, and their offsprings as Godkins, Evileye only knows about Godkins. From what I understand there are nations outside of the world map they currently possess, is there a chance that “players” could have been transported to those areas/ armies could be secretly built outside of Ainz’s view/ influence? Like the orphans Brain was training and tried to get flee the country.
Are you sure about the guardians being "raid boss" level compared to players? I have my own theory (sorry if this is a bit long): I do think they guardians are stronger, but because of the way the system is designed. That is to say, if we look at Ains' growth and power, he unlocked a secret class and extra super strong abilities by being a "role playing" player instead of the standard min/maxer. The NPCs designed typically have to be "roleplay" by their nature and get those kinds of bonuses, but Ains not only got a secret class, but unlocked like 700+ spells which is waaaaaaaaaaay more than standard players can have. I think the system gives bonuses and rewards roleplay by making them stronger than you'd otherwise expect. Examples outside of Ains and the guardians is how Enri unlocked the advanced goblin army through "role playing" with them, which is something that didn't happen in the game and took even Ains by surprise. He and most players probably missed a great many features because the inherent nature of players in RPGs is to min/max. Setting aside Ains' player bonuses, I suspect he was actually a lot stronger than many players due to his build being special, and is again, exemplified in how the system wants to reinforce the role-play in the system forcefully neutralizing Ains' emotions.
Since there's a dragon who learned how use both wide and tier magic Can ainz learn wide magic? And maybe he can learn if he find five elements overcome that the eight kings used to learn it?
At 11:30, we have to remember Ains has not only access to other God tier equipment from his guildmates he himself is a caster with more than 700 spells and we only know a handful of spells he casts . For a human Suzuki Satoru remembering all 700 would be nigh impossible but for Undead Ains that doesn't seem impossible. So yeah, your view is entirely correct, statwise he is on the loosing side compared to some floor guardians but on a whole he is still comes on top 😅
Suzuki did in fact remember all keybinds on his console (presumably all his 700ish spells) which took him over a year and impressed his guildmates so much that it placed him easily in top 5 in terms of magical knowledge in his guild
Sorry , I have several questions but if a random player was also summoned at the same time as Ainz and was known as some hero somewhere. How would they react after hearing the name Ainz Ooal Gown because the name was well know?
If I'm not mistaken that was Ainz's intention by changing his name but it was more so other members rather then random players would recognise them and they could meet to hopefully join forces however if a random player did start to think of themselves as a hero after being treated as one then they might be very hostile towards nazarik as the guild was well known to role play as a group of evil beings and combined with destroying the kingdom the player might take that as confirmation that it was true and consider Ainz as their opponent
Or alternatively for the ainz vs the floor guardians, you could just say they're equal strength lol. Ainz has advantages over the guardians, just as the guardians have advantages over Ainz
The other theory is that a few players were "abducted" from the game each year for the 12 years Yggdrasil was operating. Their appearances were spread out in 200 year increments. This is the source of the theory that Ainz and crew are the last group to arrive.
I feel like this wouldnt be possible because news of multiple people die/go into a coma whilst using the vr machine would be very widespread and investigated
@@MmmmmmmmEarHair It's not totally impossible, for one when people get transported they could just get totally wiped from that reality and every forgets them, or two the whole person disappears and it would just be a missing person case and lets face it people forget very quickly and a missing case no one is gonna be like hey this person disappeared from the game i was playing for 5+ yrs maybe he was one of these people. Especially since it seems like most of the previous players that isekai seemed to be human characters so the interaction between Ainz would of been limited to pvp since it was shown that non human characters weren't shown favourably in the show.
You think the "Albedo will betray Ainz and made the squad to kill any supreme beings she finds so they cant be used as leverage against him" holds any water as a light novel reader?
Considering ainz hides his world items in nazarik and he himself have a world item The transportation works on the holders of worlditems and the places it was in cause maybe the dragon empower wants some power and found it Maybe the eight kings of greed did the same and hidden their world item in their base
Hey, I know this question probalby can’t be really answered but I’d like to imagine some other people thought about this too: Can you use simple science and physics to cheat the magic system? I thought about it since the 2 death knights got killed by falldmg and Ainz thought only about individuals over lv. 40. Could you use magic to pull a meteor big enough to kill Ainz who should be unable to get harmed by physical dmg? The question might sound stupid and the answer is simply "yes ofc" but if that is the case then there shouldn’t be anything stopping you to use magic in a way to accelerate anything fast enough so you can just os everything that can be physically harmed. At that point you probably could find biological and chemical ways to kill high lv. targets and go for a "physics engine" abuse build.
Ainz is technically stronger than any of the Guardians because he has a full set of divine equipment custom made for his build. The Guardians only have 1 or 2 divine equipment at most + if Ainz has to go all out he can use the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown which further widens the gap.
@@Personatale I suppose Ainz guild was more committed than most considering Maruyama said it isn't uncommon for level 100 players to not own a single piece of Divine Class items. And yet Ainz can manage to give Divine Class items to their NPCs.
Quick question will the brightness dragon lord from side story ever gonna show up in main story and will the stories of other players which came before Ainz will get explained
Wouldn't a fully equipped shalltear be the perfect enemy to defeat pdl or any true dragon lord for that matter, basically pdl's power comes from wild magic which needs souls to work where souls translate as his health and shalltear can steal that health and even heal herself withi it
Here's a theory that I have personally after watching a few videos like this. The players get isekai's based on their registration number. If there was a guild member with an earlier registration number, them and their entire guild would take precedence over others. Because Ainz was the only player in the guild and the earlier members (like Touch Me who saved Momonag when he was a new player)
Given that in the What If story Ainz was isekai'd to a different time period because he was in a different location when he got summoned, it seems unlikely.
can you please do a video explaining the flavor text of momonga both his own flavor text description and his class? the flavor text while meaningless in the game of yggdrasil, in the new world it defines who you are much so than even your level or powers. This might help expain why Momonga is an idiot but also a super genius as his flavor text gives him the 10k years of genius future sight as an overlord. I cant find the flavor text of the players like momonga.
In anime, PDL retreated right after Shalltear put on her valkyrie armor, probably he got his pants wet
I had read this theory on Reddit, and I’m curious too! Hopefully he’ll answer address it in the next Q&A
Makes sense
This makes me worried that a World Enemy will be summoned since their known to drop World Items.
Believe it was any data in contact with a world item was dragged along with the item in the transportation process.
From left to right:
Bellriver, Amanomahitotsu, Nishikienrai, Tabula Smaragdina, Touch Me, Momonga, Peroroncino, Bukubukuchagama, Warrior Takemikazuchi, Ulbert Alain Odle, Yamaiko, Luci★Fer, Punitto Moe, HeroHero and Variable Talisman.
Vet player using new acc for exploration purposes (doesnt want to tarnish perfect acc character if he dies exploring maybe)
Newbie joins game and guild with vet friends (could be IRL friends or friends from other games)
An explorer who has died many times exploring the game has the fruits of their labor pay off with finding a new World Item (explains low level start with meteoric rise)
I can think of more but I think my point is clear that it could be possible.
Yes ty this
@@joshguide6389 not all world items were found via battle, some just took some really obtuse and antilogical conditions.

@@unitNitro But I always love my ''Diamond dot diamond dot diamond'' xD
Im pretty sure PDL's current home is the 8 greed kings guild base.
At this point it's unlikely but still possible because of the mention of the 6 great gods having minor gods subordinate to them
At 5:21, my guess is that it's the guild weapon that anchored Nazarick to Ains, since he reminisces that guild weapons are the most valuable thing for a guild base and nobody would go around showing off their Guild Weapon outside, we also know that Nazarick has a security measure to transport the guild weapon out in case of invasions reaching the last floors, so my guess is the Staff of Ains Oal Gown is what brought Nazarick together with Momonga to the new world because he was holding it at the moment
Bonus novel shows that ainz having the guild weapon while outside nazarick transports him 200 years before the base arrives
The prenovels mention a bonus for clearing the dungeon that became Nazarick was enhanced number of levels and enhanced npc level pool, plus respawning weak undead without cost.
IMPORTANT!!! 2:40 if you look it up on TH-cam you can find the bonus volume as an audiobook translation, I’ve read it and it’s 🔥🔥🔥
Can Ainz use the item that Albedo gave to the princess to change his class and become human again.I am sure Albedo would love this.
I doubt ains would want to lose his vast magical reserves. Im probably wrong but i think his high magic stat is so because of him being an overlord.
That item only turns someone into a demon. If he got his hands on the World Item Seeds of the World Tree, then he would.
(This is just a theory though)
A second Theory that I've heard is that the Evil Deities were NPCs that followed the Lore their creators gave them and terrorized the New World when the Guild Base with a World Item in it was transported to the New World without any Players there to control the NPCs.
U should read the vampire princess of the lost country, the bonus overlord novel gave us a somewhat answer on both theories.
@@chickennugents4738 I might have to.
Alternate Timelines can be fun to explore.
Love the Q&A. My question is, if The floating Isle was captured would that allow points for new NPC’s?
Woah amazing question
Thank You.
Man we are hungry for Overlord content we will watch anything related to the show lmao.
To answer some of the things you didn't know:
Platinum mentioned at one point that the most recent batch of Yggdrasil entities should be the last one or maybe one more after.
Igrit and the previous owner of PDL's armor is the players who transported 200 years ago, PDL killed igrits friend and took the Armor to use it.
The Throne of Kings is linked to all of Nazarick (Ainz can see the stats+statues of any NPCs while sitting in the throne).
Question: If Sebas did not interfere with Zero and Brain's fight who would have won in your opinion?
Probably Brain, Since he's the second strongest warrior in the kingdom after Gazef.
Zero probs cuz of all his buffs from the animal spirits
There has been a very good fan translation for the bonus volume for years. I'm honestly suprised you haven't read it yet

Naberal
Here’s a question I have for the next QnA. Do you think we might see Cure Elim again in the main series when Ainz eventually fights PDL. He should be alive in the main timeline since Ainz was transported way later than in the alternate one.
I remember reading a fan translation of the bonus volume with evileye from the overlord subreddit awhile ago. Hopefully it didn't get deleted lol
At 8:20, my guess is for Ains being unable to make custom NPC is that he lacks the tools, it's mentioned that the NPC data can be modified in Yggdrasil with Data Crystals and special tools, although I forgot where I have read that piece of info, forgive me if I got it wrong.
For those wondering, when they acquired nazarick they had 2700 npc levels
My theory is that the transfer from Yggdrasil to the The New World requires massive amounts of wild magic. More than the Dragon Emperor could bring to bear all at once. So it would take 1 to 2 hundred years of births and deaths to generate enough soul energy to manifest items and players from Yggdrasil. (at least after the arrival of the first batch - 6 gods)
Wild magic works almost just like a magic casters mana, but if they use all of their soul (mp) then they die.
Yeah drop the kiba zeronic sounds cool
8:30 that was me lesgo
Questions : Why was PDL with the black scriptures when Shalltear attacked ? Aren’t they enemies ?
Personally, I'm curious if somehow Ainz, and the guardians were defeated along with everyone else in the tomb. Would the leader of the forces that accomplished that feat become the "owners" of the tomb and the NPCs that spawn there would serve them?
Question for the next Q and A why did shalltear bust size decrease after her revival
Love your work, thank you so much.
My question is when Pandoras Actor “Aines” fought PDL do you think he could have won had he held a world item?
Great video, very enjoyable. Keep cranking them out.
yOU ARE A FREAKING MONSTER ... thank you so much !
12:45 her armor was equipped after he struck her
I think the reason that the EGK's guild base came with them is because their base probably had a World Item that was connected to the base; just like how the Great Tomb of Nazarick has the Throne of Kings protecting the base.
You really should read the bonus novel

And the spell that Elder Coffin Dragonlord used to turn himself into a vampire turned three countries and millions of people into zombies. 😱
A quick question why didn’t Ainz use technology from his original world why didn’t he make weapons or stuff like that?
1- Ainz is the only GUILD MEMBER to come to the new world because he waq the only one who was online during that time, the only possible SB to be transported is Herohero but he was already confirmed to be offline.
And the not all of 13 Heroes knew about the players, even those who know they dont even know wtf doesn Player mean.
7- PDL attacked Unequipped Shalltear with his strongest attack, which is a kinda of a nuke. And it did so little to Shalltear that it meant to, which garbage literally.
I love reading Overlord Light Novel VL 1-14 soon VL 15, Overlord Manga VL 1-16 and seeing Overlord the Anime season 1-4
Pdl says himself that he is stronger than the armor lol
For next QNA:
Cocytus is immune to low damage. Could Brains attack hurt him, if it reached it's goal?
With his nullification skill activated no. It repels all physical attacks below level 60.
@@saljpal3 I know it, my friend. Yet it's first real threat to nazaric outside of nazaric. The human who can suppress limiters, would he ever have a chance to hurt one out of nazaric.
Albedo:*Is a god tier bieng*
also albedo:*Makes a Ains oal gown body pillow*
my theory about the 8 greed kings guild base is the entire base is itself a world class item
It was stated by Demiurge Is it true that all the Guardians working together would be unstoppable and if so, are they stronger than Rubedo together?
Id equate that to a bunch of shermans and some infantry going up against a sturm. I think it would still depend on the odd few guardians to defeat her
2:43 Maruyama once posted a tweet saying that, but he deleteded it.
4:29 Well, you gotta save more than 2k for that and find someone who wants to sell it.
11:47 those are all the members of Ainz Ooal Gown that have been illustrated by so-bin in the light novel.
11:39 all of the members that have their appearances designed
I believe that because the other players in the guild were logged out they were not transported to the new realm
Evil eye tells clime not to lose his humanity in the search of power and later on the princess ask him to become a demon what is your take on this and do you think he'll do it .
From what I understand there are nations outside of the world map they currently possess, is there a chance that “players” could have been transported to those areas/ armies could be secretly built outside of Ainz’s view/ influence? Like the orphans Brain was training and tried to get flee the country.
If thats so i couldnt be suprised if theres an edo period civilization
I see you with the black bulls shirt🔥
Given ainz use of cash shop items early in the game and during the fight with shaltear he would probably have something used to create more NPCs
Are you sure about the guardians being "raid boss" level compared to players? I have my own theory (sorry if this is a bit long):
I do think they guardians are stronger, but because of the way the system is designed.
Let's go another Overlord video !
I'm sure it will be realy good
Since there's a dragon who learned how use both wide and tier magic
Can ainz learn wide magic?
And maybe he can learn if he find five elements overcome that the eight kings used to learn it?
You content is always good

My question is that the existing NPC can level up?
You think the "Albedo will betray Ainz and made the squad to kill any supreme beings she finds so they cant be used as leverage against him" holds any water as a light novel reader?
Considering ainz hides his world items in nazarik and he himself have a world item
The transportation works on the holders of worlditems and the places it was in cause maybe the dragon empower wants some power and found it
Maybe the eight kings of greed did the same and hidden their world item in their base
Keep it up!! Love these videos 🤩
Ainz is technically stronger than any of the Guardians because he has a full set of divine equipment custom made for his build.
The Guardians only have 1 or 2 divine equipment at most + if Ainz has to go all out he can use the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown which further widens the gap.
Albedo armor is Divine Class.
@@saljpal3 I know and Shaltears lance is also divine class but that's the point, the guardians only have 1 or 2 pieces of divine class gear.
@@Personatale I suppose Ainz guild was more committed than most considering Maruyama said it isn't uncommon for level 100 players to not own a single piece of Divine Class items. And yet Ainz can manage to give Divine Class items to their NPCs.
Wait what? I think I remember Shalltear being fully equipped when she fought PDL but that wasn't showed in the anime. I might be wrong though
What if the player that left the original nine's own goal Guild was one of the players that was transported to the new world
Quick question will the brightness dragon lord from side story ever gonna show up in main story and will the stories of other players which came before Ainz will get explained
Ainz Guild base had 2,250 levels but they were given an extra 500 levels for conquering it on their first try
What are some of your personal theories???
Is there an item that can make an undead to human? The the one Renner used?
Could you do a defense layout of the entire tomb?
So I have a question can platinum dragon lord level up while using his armor?
Wouldn't a fully equipped shalltear be the perfect enemy to defeat pdl or any true dragon lord for that matter, basically pdl's power comes from wild magic which needs souls to work where souls translate as his health and shalltear can steal that health and even heal herself withi it
I think it is possible to create a new npc because ainz still has a prismatic ore
I think there's a World Item that allows you to create a customary NPC.
The bonus book can be found on TH-cam
can you please do a video explaining the flavor text of momonga both his own flavor text description and his class? the flavor text while meaningless in the game of yggdrasil, in the new world it defines who you are much so than even your level or powers. This might help expain why Momonga is an idiot but also a super genius as his flavor text gives him the 10k years of genius future sight as an overlord. I cant find the flavor text of the players like momonga.
