Um, Actually: A few folks have already pointed out that the Brahms doll in the first The Boy movie was not possessed (which was retconned in the sequel). For that same question, though, the Chucky doll from the first Child's Play movie was not an old doll at all--it was a brand new Good Guys toy line that was being sold in the toy store where the young boy character's mom worked. Pedantic, I know, but you all should be used to that by now.

Regarding that Real Life Question: in my middle school social studies class, one of our big projects was preparing for and participating in a group debate. My group got the topic "should you have to be natural-born to become president?", which led to a *ton* of research into the immigration process. To this day *mumbles* years later, I may not remember all the details, but I do remember the takeaway: it's *fucking hard* to become a US citizen if you're not one already. It can cost so much time, effort, education, and *money* that anyone who is willing and able to go through all that just to become a US citizen is *far more likely* to be loyal to the country's citizens than someone who was just born into it. After like a month or two of prep, we get to the debate, and our opponents' entire argument was, "but what if they want to destroy the US from the inside?" phrased multiple different ways, to which we just kept responding, "...that's more likely to happen with a natural-born citizen, but in the case, don't vote for them?"
So much research for what amounted to a preamble as there was no actual debate from the other side. And that continues to this day whenever conservatives negatively stereotype "illegal immigrants" with no understanding of what it costs to become "legal" immigrants, or how often people try to come to the US precisely *because* they could never afford that cost in their home country.

Two bonus corrections for the first statement.
First, Brahms was not possessed in the first film, which was the one referenced in the statement.
Second, you presented them as "old" dolls, when in fact, Chucky possessed a brand new Good Guy Doll in the first film.

Umm, Actually... In Child's Play, the "Good Guy" Doll (Based loosely on the "My Buddy / Kid Sister line) is not an old doll. It is a brand new, active, currently running line of dolls sold at major retailers. Charles Lee Ray, the titular Chucky, is dying after being shot and performs a 1980s pop-voodoo ritual to put his soul in to one of the many Good Guy dolls he is surrounded by.
The reboot is more like the Krusty version...
Speaking of which, the Krusty the Clown Doll was not an old doll at the time of its active period either.

The same goes for the ninth (Harrison). They were all fine because they were citizens before the Constitution was adopted, a stipulation included in the same clause as the other general requirements (Article II, Section 1, Clause 5). If that exception were not included, then nobody would have been eligible to be President until 22 years after the Constitution came into effect.

Um actually, you only need to be a natural born citizen to be President if you weren't already a US citizen when the constitution was adopted.
