The Jesus Revolution is a must see. Very powerful. No one left their seats during the whole movie. Even during the credits. The movie goers were groups of old people and right before the start of the movie came groups of young people. It was amazing!
We are repeating the Jesus Revolution today. The foundations are already in place and God's presence is going to fill the emptiness in their with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Come to the cross ✝️🛐 for forgiveness and joy. 🐑🏜️☝️😎❤️🌦️🌧️⛈️🌎Come as YOU are and Jesus will set you FREE.

Repentance is key to becoming a child of God. We are supposed to turn away from sin. Yes, we all have struggles but we no longer practice sin. We accept everyone but we minister and mentor new believers and keep them accountable.
i came to Jesus in the seventies it was a move of God and it was wonderful. God was the factor that inspired and affected all of us and all we wanted to do is love others and this only came as an absolute move and love of God
Yes the church always had the challenge of how to relate and speak to the new generation. How to reach their hearts if you will. Everyone searches for meaning. Filling the void.
Chuck was not a stuffy, awkward stodgy curmudgeon as the film would have you believe. He was an extremely handome (in the 60's-70's) man with a God given charisma and a blinding smile. If you don't believe me pull up some youtubes of him preaching during that time. Certainly NOT stuffy/stodgy, one of his favorite sayings was "blessed are the flexible for they will not be broken"
@@TheLakingc Calvary chapel costa mesa was my childhood church. He would stand outside after sunday service and speak w whoever was in line. Later on, my son (2 yrs old) decided he should join everyone speaking w Chuck after church and joined them in line. He was very approachable, even to a 2 year old, had a huge blinding smile and a God given charisma. His mom dedicated him to the Lord when he was a baby. She followed him around, quoting scriptures to him as a child. He had a photogenic memory, was planning on being a doctor when he felt God's calling to the ministry. He was a football player, met Kay, a cheerleader and fell in love. They got married after a few months of dating. I don't know that he had a "before." Though irregardless he was a blessing
Can you fix the sound level? the interviewer is fine the answers are super soft. Tried mute and unmute but had to settle for turning volume way up on answers and, of course, way down for each question. Thanks so much!!
Everyone is a child of God. Many are lost. The Father is calling them home. Read the 3 parables. Luke ch 15 The lost coin. The lost sheep. The lost son. "When the Jesus revolution began is when the church began embrace everyone."
No, we are all Gods CREATION. Some of us CHOOSE to be part of His family, turning/repenting from sin, and following Him. People choose to NOT be His children. CHOICE.
@@joinjen3854 Exactly. Until someone chooses to be part of God's family they are NOT His children. And if they are not His children, they will perish. Hell is no joke and that's why so many of us are sometimes over-zealous in sharing the Gospel. The bottom line is to try and find Jesus and embrace Him now while He can be found. So kudos for this film as it will certainly help some people to learn more about God!
@@joinjen3854 I was quoting the video. Remember Jesus' words. OUR FATHER in heaven. We are all known by God. We are all loved by God. Whether we know it our accept it, He is our Father. God always makes the first move. Go back and read the parables in Luke 15.

I’m concerned with the phrase “all of us are children of God”. If so, why do we need Jesus? We are all creatures of God, and those the believe in him are his son (John 1:12). Why is so difficult for people today to understand simple theology? I’m not legalistic but we were called the people of the book, now who knows.
I don’t know if this dude is the same dude writing on CBS sports. If he just wrote the article on DC going with the Saints this dude doesn’t know 💩 about football 🏈 😂
A false term , cause Jesus was not a reveloutioist, but was falsely accused & crucified as a reveloutioist, the same people who today consider Jesus to be a reveloutioist,

Cody, I love when you say that Jesus is the focus!!! 👌🏼👏🏼

Good to see these are actors -not the people. For some reason people actually expect actors to be their characters.
God’s Grace is always open to all who receives Him.
Loved the movie. Great acting, script, story.
JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, SWEETEST NAME I KNOW!!
Best movie ever! A must see!
Thank you all for your service ❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Great interview Cody. The cast and acting was incredible and Jonathan portraying Lonnie did a great job. Made me dig more about this incredible man.
Lonnie was the real deal, a flawed, even wounded man, but full of the Holy Spirit and completely sold out to God.
Kelsey Grammar has been very emotional about being part of the movie. Maybe it was the baptisms that touched him.
Loved this, thank you!
They did such a great job. Great actors all
I loved it. Tears of Joy. Bravo.

Totally agree with their feedback! Great interview.
Your direction of movement in relation to God is more important than your current location. Motion is inevitable; direction is a choice.
You can embrace everyone but without condoning their sin.
People today (2023) have to choose between churches in the "last days" Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 . . just as they did in every generation.
People have not changed. We realize we are lost, repent and need a Savior. Or not.
Thanks! Interesting questions.

He had a before and after experience, too. Maybe the vids or pictures you saw were the "afters." I love that quote; how true!
