This is one railway that I have not visited. I remember the time that they started a revival and am so pleased to see it working. You covered it very well and thanks for sharing it.

If you get the time, it is worth exploring down the old trackbed. There is for example a restored large viaduct near another station just waiting for the trains to cross again, some miles away!

I was impressed by the appearance of that train. I had heard there was a new loco in manufacture but I doubl it could look any newer!

Great Part one Mike. Nice to see 'Isaac' out and about there ...my favourite Loco on The L&BR !! The Weather although wet, produced some very nice atmospheric Shots and loads of Steam. I see you still have your Lady guest staying with you ? Looked a worthwhile journey for you...looking forward to part three......Steve.

Part 2 should be uploaded today but it is a short one due to cancellation of the next train because of the lack of visitors!

Your rail videos have succeeded in making me rethink the year which I lived in Stillorgan, IE. I should have spent far more time touring the British, Scottish, and Welsh countryside(s), and far less time fishing the streams in County Kerry.

There are so many interesting little old time railways scattered around the UK and Ireland! We are fortunate so many have been saved!

Not the best of days Mike with that weather , looks to be a great small railway

We had just spent a weekend away at Woolacombe and had had a great sunny Saturday. One of the main roads to get there was closed so it meant a long detour. We allowed time for that again coming home, but found it open again so we had time to call in to see this railway!

I hope it will become that railway in the future but its rather a grand title for the distance it presently covers!
