Many years of hard work and dedication have brought this line to it's present popularity. Great position right behind the loco and good long shots on return. Thanks a lot.
a late friend of ours before he passed away from Leg cancer was a great supporter of the restoration of the Lynton and Barnstaple railway. he would have liked to have a ride behind this recreated locomotive which first raised steam only a few weeks before his passing
Very enjoyable video of the railway . Mike Well done Val with your filming . We look forward to Visiting the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway in a couple of weeks 😊
Wev done this Railway in 2016 I think, might of been later. Coz after we visited The Lynmouth & went on the Cliff Railway. I remember it was fairly quiet. Then suddenly these huge crowds of people appeared! Like us we were all queuing to go on the railway.
Yes but apparently there are many legal hurdles to be overcome before anything can be done on the ground. One volunteer said he didn't expect to see this in his lifetime.

I find your videos very useful as reference, as I'm modelling the GWR and using some of the buildings on the WSR.
I am glad of that ! There is quite a lot of variety in style around.
