    I saw this family series once and the kid was caught smoking weed and the dad said something that really stuck with me, he said "getting high isnt the problem, but being high make you ok with being bored. Not being bothered about being bored means you never try to achieve anything, because you are just fine doing nothing"

    I feel like this is so true. Especially with alcohol and collage. I have met so many people that never grow out of partying on the weekend. It is the same thing over and over again. They begin to bore me . They have kids and they are still so focused on partying they put their kids in danger.

      You’re so right-getting stuck in that cycle can have long-term effects, especially when it impacts parenting. It’s tough to watch when people don’t grow out of it.
