Campervan tour of North Lake District in our VW California

This weekend took us to North Cumbria.
Parking at great wood national trust carpark to explore Derwent Water, driving through Borrowdale to Honister slate mine up the mountain pass, through Buttermere and back to Keswick for fish & chips at the old Keswickian.
Then we headed to our campsite at Lane foot farm in Braithwaite where we relaxed with a Peroni or two while using our new camping fire pit.
Following morning we headed to the historic marvel that is Castlerigg stone circle, it's over 4500 years old!!
