    The mods sure look cool and are all very practical additions. I’ve got a down payment on a new ZXT 72 so it’s now the waiting game. Of the mods you’ve done so far to your ZXT, the QuickChute is the one I’m going to add to mine once it ever arrives. I’ll check out your installation video next. Thanks for sharing!!

      Thanks Mike... so far they have ALL been used almost everyday...except the winch. But even it has already been used a few times in critical situations and has proven to have been a great add on.

    I just bought several ZXTs and want to add the Quikchute. What is the model # that fits? Thanks!

    • @DaisyDukesLandscaping
      @DaisyDukesLandscaping  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey James I don’t recall off hand which model number it is specifically for the zXt... this was one of those products that I didn’t want to buy from a third-party site for fear of getting the wrong model for my mower.
      Check out my description and go straight to the manufacturer and give them a call. (I listed their website). I spoke with Dale if I’m not mistaken, and he had me two quickchutes out the door the same day and I had them two or three days later in the mail.
      I highly recommend them. Hope this helps...sorry for the delayed response.

    U know on all qwik chutes there is a second bolt hole the dog pivots on so to hold the plate partially open slightly higher. I like the higher position because it won't windrow the grass. The lower position seems to windrow and then you need another pass to clean it up.

      Yes you’re right. I call it a “half hang”. In some of the places we mow it’s required to keep chute Blocks down so this is a little work-around to keep the clippings dispersed and not open ourselves up to liability.

    What do you think of that zxt? Does it cut well?

    • @DaisyDukesLandscaping
      @DaisyDukesLandscaping  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it cuts great... haven’t even bogged it down yet in thick wet early spring grass. And I’ll be honest a lot of what I cut is not manicured and well-maintained lawns. A lot of it is nasty wild overgrowth.
      Here’s a video we just put together showing it’s ability to stripe and cut 7-8” thick rye grass.

      Definitely. I have owned quite a few mowers out there. 2 scags, 1 exmark, 1 hustler (nightmare), ferris is3200 and I just purchased the zxt a few weeks ago. I am a one man operation so I will always keep 2 mowers ready to go. I have the scag turf tiger 2 currently that will be my backup and the zxt will be my main mower. Both of these mowers are 72 inch mowers and I can cut an hour to an hour and a half off each day with the zxt. So that eqates to over half of a day off at the end of my work week or more money, whichever someone prefers. It is super comfortable, quick as lightning, cuts great and what other owner of a business is as involved as Ed is. I was debating between another Ferris or Scag after I sold my ferris about a month ago and talked to a few dealers and learned about the new wright that was coming out. So it was really fortunate that I went to have Scag serviced, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. Immediately afterwards I started searching on here and other avenues such as lawn servicing. com etc etc and the rest was history. I had read about wright and their standers but literally no one in the area I am runs standers, so I really didn't consider wright because of this reason. I have a great dealer here in SC that sells all 3 of the mowers that I was debating and I am so glad that I purchased the zxt. I am absolutely loving the machine. It is a TANK and the hydros are soooooooo smooth. I will try to get a video on here soon with a review and all of the machine. Anyone looking to increase their production should know about this machine and how great it is. PS I am 6 ft 6 and have plenty of room on this mower. Every aspect of making a quality product was considered when making this mower.
