Assuming he took no outside damage, with 5 damage a second from the timer Haelian could have survived over 7.6 minutes of that damage. He had almost 2 extra minutes PER STAGE worth of health, while it takes 3 seconds to die as level 1 guan yu with high confidence. Absolutely insane.
Sick run, though he forgot that doing Treasure Troves has a 5% chance to drop Nectars! Not that it was likely, but hey, you never know! He passed at least 2 or 3 with the Premium Vintage Boon. Love watching these meme runs

I've had around 5k. I use all my bouldys before asphodel and i use the mirror that gives 15% gold per section. Also, start with the coin purse. You want as much gold as possible leaving tartarus lol.

I did the exact opposite recently, using the sword with the hammer that gives u healing, but lowers your hp by 60%, defeated hades with only 100 max hp lol
this reminds me of my first run with beowulf, where i didnt get any hp at all for the whole second half of the run and died to a random rat in styx as a result
Hey! Just wanted to say, inspired by your no-dash run... Last night I completed a dash-only run! No attack. No special. No cast. Just dashing. Started with Poseidon dash, got an early Zeus/Poseidon Duo and ended up stacking Zeus for the rest of the run. It was incredible. So much fun. Highly recommended :)
I thought the game was randomly generated at each door. how do seeded runs in Hades work? what is set by the "seed" what is still randomized, and how would one even set a seed?
Seed sets the beginning of the run and the RNG seed for the rest of the run, the thing is various things you do as a player can influence later RNG. So theoretically if you map out your cast usage, pot breaking and trap breaking you could potentially fully seed/route an entire run. Otherwise the seeding mod only covers the first room and maybe the second and third after that player action usually changes the rest of the run

I'm late to the party here, but I'm just thinking about Tight Deadline since Haelian seemed a little concerned. Running out of TD time costs you 5 health per second. That's 300 health per minute. At 913 max health, if Haelian had gone into overtime with full health, he still would've had slightly more than three minutes to kill Hades even before accounting for DDs (which themselves would've added around five minutes, eyeballing it), obviously not counting Hades' own damage output.
this run was crazy! tough to beat. only ways to improve i can think of were treasure troves for nectars. sunken treasure for nectars. and maybe use the egg for upgraded chaos health boons. and also rare crop or eurydice to upgrade life affirmation, while still getting so many centaur hearts

yeah i like aphro with arthur too, but i prefer to have it on his special, and use demeter for his attack. I also like to use Abyssal Blood over Boiling Blood. It's also the only aspect where Dash Nova is actually good, and almost necessary. I would get it 100% of the time if it is available with Arthur if you haven't already gotten sturdy from something else. I feel this aspect needs sturdy as it's a very slow weapon. I love it though. Oh, and I've also been experimenting with Ruthless Reflex; I feel like it's also really good with this Aspect...especially if you manage to get Dash Nova. Ruthless Reflex is amazing tbqh. 50% damage and dodge? crazy. Same with Abyssal Blood, -30% damage AND speed? holy shit. SPEED? yeah SO good with arthur. Like, wtf. Why not?

@@gokayerylmaz8707 Different League, Broken Resolve and Aphro attack. This three boons give you 70% damage reduction if they are epic tier. If you add Epic Bronze Skin from Athena it goes to 80%. With Arthur aspect it goes to 120% damage reduction. If you're lucky enough you will add Empty Inside boon to longer weak effect duration. Weak effects last for 14 seconds with that boon.

I ended a run with 4300 once, so 5000 doesn’t seem too far fetched.

I had to use a different savefile for speedrun reasons eventually: my old save with 2000+ attempts would lag when the game would rewrite the save.
How does Artemis dash work on Excalibur? since you can just dash during any stage of the swing
Great question, the combo swings after dashing don't get affected, it's only the piercing dash-attack that gets the bonus.
