I have to get water out of waste veg oil long term use for using as fuel in a engine in a vehicle, under a vacuum what pump is suitable for it? Thanks.
Jim on residential refrigerators we have to connect vaccum pump refrigerant tank and high and low side hoses and pull a vacuum on it all to avoid infiltration. The hydrocarbon refrigerant hoses are even smaller than the standard 1/4 hoses. There's got to be a better way?
I have heard you say that moisture in a system takes TIME to evacuate, "..no matter what you're using." Is that true on a system that's been open to the atmosphere somewhat but not directly had water put in the system? I would think that the better hoses and gauge would help in any situation.
Great video.

As long the systems open, the oil will act as a sponge and pull moisture. Poe oil is worse than mineral oil.
Great videos Jim! Any thoughts on putting this into book/pdf form?
Jeff B I have thought about it.
What do you think of rx-11 flush, followed by a bunch of nitrogen?
Its just good as your mechanic telling ya he made sure oil is not in the coolant or coolant in your oil after head gasket job👌
