Good rig, If I could suggest an improvement, tie an overhand knot in the tag ends before threading the chugger head on and cinch it down onto the centre of the cut bill. Results in less blowouts in my experience, can also be used naked at this point.

Could you drag this as the big bait in your typical mid-Atlantic white marlin dink spread? Would you put it on a 30W so it’s easier to pick up and drop back?

You absolutely could and yes, in that case I would use it on a 30W. While it isn’t the ideal white marlin bait, maybe scaling down the bait size and chugger head size would be even better. I have used mini chuggers for whites from time to time.
